We love the Washington Center Rd location and visit it frequently. This location, having just…read moreopened a week ago is closer to home, so we decided to give it a try. Like the original, it is connected to a gas station. While the space is smaller than the other locations we've been to, there is ample space for a group if it's not massive. The only negative I have for this location is that the music was so loud when we were seated that it was next to impossible to converse about the menu options. Not good when you are with your parents who have hearing issues. Severe hearing issues. They did turn it down after we had been there a little while. Our server was quick to come to the table and was incredibly sweet and kind. Mom ordered the baked ziti with a side salad and dad ordered the Mama Daphne with a side salad. Husband and I split the Mama Daphne minus the red onion and two Caesar salads. The salads were perfection. Mom has trouble chewing so she rarely touches a salad. She ate every bit. The main entrees arrived and dad received our Daphne and we got his. The server recognized the mixup almost immediately but too late. Dad had already dived in. The kitchen was quick to replace the sandwich and the server boxed up the extra for dad to take home. Incredibly kind. The food was exceptional as always. I would suggest asking for extra meat sauce in the ziti tho. The entrees were piping hot and filling. Love this restaurant and the location is perfect! Give this place a try. You will not regret it!

Whenever…read moreI think about BBQ, i think of some delicious ribs... meat falling off the bone... succulent chicken... mouth watering pulled pork. I also think of sharing and spending time with friend and family, its meant to be a communal event that brings people together. As Anthony Bourdain said: "Barbecue may not be the road to world peace, but it's a start." Gibson's exemplifies good BBQ. Came a few times to take food home from here. The burgers are amazing! The ribs... finger lickin good! The pulled pork... i could eat that every day. The food is just wonderful. Place is also cool, its in an old building and the ambience really makes one want to stay. I would definitely love to eat here, but I must warn you... it is always busy and full of customers. You may have to wait a bit. Great place for some good BBQ. Definitely the best Ive had since moving to Ohio.

Jeff and Susie are great people as owners though a bit hard to get to know. There is a decent variety of typical food items on the buffet. They are very consistent on their offerings and taste. Lunch buffet sells for a little over $12. Here are the items I prefer: -Black Pepper Chicken: sweet, crunchy, light on the chicken, nice pepper taste without being spicy -General Tso's: little spicy at times. Little sweet at times. Lots of soft breading and smaller pieces of chicken -White Rice: perfectly cooked every time -Pot Stickers: good, about what you get at any other place. Fried nicely. -Egg Drop soup: good, thicker, similar to other places -BBQ pork: very tender and moist. BBQ sauce is not spicy, adds moisture -Brócoli and Chicken: tender chicken in a nice mild brown sauce. I would prefer this without the broccoli -Sauteed crab and shrimp: sauce is a little soupy. Doesn't add much flavor. Shrimp often over cooked. -Crab salad: smaller chunks of imitation crab is a lightly seasoned mayo type sauce. Cool and refreshing -Watermelon: fresh and cool -Ice Cream: nice variety, self serve
