I'm really torn about how to review my latest experience with the repair department. Communication…read morehas been horrible to be totally honest. They did have my old number which explains why I wasn't getting return calls for a while but even after the number was corrected, I only received a couple of call backs after numerous calls trying to get an update on my scooter. It was there from late August and it is now almost mid December. It took all this time to get replacement parts only to determine the scooter was not able to be repaired. I know Trump's trade policies have created havoc on the supply chain for many goods but this was a heck of a long time to go without use of my scooter. Some things cannot be helped but promising call backs that are never made is rather inexcusable. On the flip side, when it came time to pay for the work that was done, they only charged me for 2 replacement parts and nothing for labor even though they did have to spend time troubleshooting the problem and going over things again after the replacement parts did finally ship so they deserve a lot of gratitude for the work they put in even though it turned out to be fruitless. They even replaced the batteries in the charger pack which I will be able to use if I replace the scooter with another from the same manufacturer (Pride Scooters). When the problem is an easy fix or at least easy to diagnose, I think you'll be very happy with the service (at least from the repair technicians). If your problem is more extensive, you may be heading into rough waters. The office needs to do a better job of keeping customers informed about the status of their repair. They never called me back with information about the scooter before my cruise to Mexico since I needed the dimensions and specifications if I would have used it aboard the ship. I never received a call about estimates. Everything depended on my calling the office time and time again. The repair department does such a great job doing the actual repairs, they deserve better support from the staff in the office who are the ones the public interacts with 90% of the time.

They offered plenty of different versions for your need. She asked for my weight and recommended a transport wheelchair. I needed it for the weekend but the shortest rental was one week. Cost $35. To reserve, I must pay over the phone but no obligation if you decide to cancel, you'll get a refund. I came the next day, liked what I saw. It was compact, easily stored in a back of a trunk and the foot rest comes off. The wheelchair width and size was perfect, we stood in many lines and it was slim enough to fit through. The only cons, was that you get what you pay for. I would recommend to upgrade to the next level and get the heavy duty to get stronger wheels. One of the wheels was acting up and kept flickering out of alignment which made it harder to push and annoying. The material also felt cheap. I'm glad the chair withstand the heavy handling of airport personnel. I was happy with the wheelchair service that we came back a week later to rent 2 for my aunt and uncle for a family trip.

Israel was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He used FaceTime to get all the details: measurements, number of stairs, etc., and sent us a very reasonable estimate while we were still online. The great part is that he was able to schedule installation in less than a week. German Ceja came this morning, and was done in less than three hours. German was great! He went over all the necessary items, like how to ride the stairlift (no placing your full weight on the footrest, how to charge the stairlift, etc.) If anyone is thinking of putting in a stairlift, please call Gamburd. They are the absolute best.

At the time, it seemed like the only option having just bought a stacked home with 2 flights of stairs. We waited about 6 months for them to be built and installed. About a year later, one of them started to malfunction. We called several times, often with difficulty getting through. We spent time with customer service diligently trouble shooting, cleaning as recommended and requesting service. 4 times, the same repair person was sent out, was there for about 15 minutes and then said he'd the unit was fixed and that we needed to do a better job cleaning the unit. But almost as soon as he'd leave, the unit would start beeping loudly again. We were told that the unit was out of warranty and so needed to pay for the servicing. First we were asked to pay $400 and then they company agreed to let us pay $200. Today, we had a different technician come out who found that there was something actually wrong with some of the parts which would need replacing - luckily these were under the 2 year parts warranty. Hopefully this will fix it for good. When you pay this much for a product, it shouldn't break down that quickly - especially since we barely use the lift. What's clear is that we're having to pay for faulty equipment and installation. If you need to purchase chair lifts, make sure to go with a company that has warranty of at least 5 years. This is ridiculous. * Wanted to respond to the "business manager's" response below: We were told that there is a lifetime warranty on parts - that's one of the reasons we felt confident to make the purchase. However, there was no mention that this was only for outdoor units. This should be clarified at the time of purchase - especially since most people have indoor units. You can imagine our shock to find out that the warranty is actually only one year for service and 2 years for parts.
