They managed to work me in on short notice and worked really fast and got my AC working again. They were very reasonably priced as well.

We bought our home here in Temple in 2015. So far we have had w main water pipe burst under the home (thank God for ins. Eben though it took 3 weeks to fix) heater unit starter burn out (during winter, of course) and a week ago our A/C decided it was it's turn (naturally during our 90+ introduction to summer). Again, THANK GOD for Homeowners Warranty Ins. They contracted Troy Heating. They responded so fast and believe me...THEY WERE BOOKED SOLID, but they were here, found out on our here when we bought the home A/C, found the TX unit? Got stuck. So again, as naturally happens, the part had to be ordered. Understand, our unit is probably...20yrs old? I'm guessing. Our home was built in the 30' or 40's. So, we endured by turning on what ceiling fans and portable fans we have for the 4 days waiting for the part to be delivered. Steven the first Tek that came was so compassionate to our plight, see our daughter who is blind, on dialysis and had just gotten out of hosp. made sure he let us know that as soon as the part was received they would be here. Ya know what? Troy Heating & Air DID JUST THAT. Ron the owner took time ON SATURDAY and came here WITH THE PART HOT OFF UPS delivery and spent maybe 1 1/2 to 2hrs. installing the part, recharging the R22 (that was seriously low) then rechecked everything making SURE it was ALL GOOD. I can't believe how "spoiled" we've become...I grew up in Muskegon,MI...picked blueberries, A/C? I never knew what that was, my husband grew up in Lubbock! Anyway, firstly, Thank you Steven, I appreciate your coming out and your honoring your word. Thank you Ron, you answered my questions, your integritu, your honesty, your commitment to getting our A/C repaired during a hot yucky day (inside & out). Our unit was running but the power bill keeps going up and suspected it needed a tune up. Ron came out and checked the unit, found a failing part and did some cleaning. He was patient with my questions and talked through all he did and showed me how the part was not working. he was great all around. Highly recommend him! read more

Ronnie is absolutely amazing he hasn't been out to our house twice once when it was icing over and he lives about an hour hour and a half away to help us with our heater and now again the September to help us with our air hopefully it is fixed I don't have to call him again but if I need him I know he's there he did a very amazing job he explained everything he did and I would highly recommend him read more

First of all I did not enter into a contract. The original agreement was for Ron to come to my home and get 20% of payment to order parts. He did not do that. Second he said to not contact him on Home Advisory site because they charge him $25.00. Then why are you on there. When Ron came out it was his decision to replace the unit as he advised that it was not worth the money or time to get it fixed. Third he jump the gun and ordered units without getting okay from me. The unit started working and he called and I advised him that the unit was working and he said so you don't need the unit I said no if it is working why would I bother to have it fixed. The unit worked for about another week or so. I called Ron back and asked him if he could do the install and he stated that he would have to do a re-quote. He kept asking me what my competitors were charging and I told him and having to do so. That is why he wanted to do a new quote. Also he came out for free one evening about 8:30pm and did not service the unit because he had a long day and rather try and fix it he said we needed a new unit. It all worked out in the end because we got 3C Mechanical out here and we had done business with them in the past. They were honest, efficient and got the job done. I would recommend them to anyone that needed there unit serviced or repaired. I am happy and content with the choice we made. read more
