I had booked a technician to come in for an annual checkup. I told him to not intentionally annoy my dogs because I was working, which caused him to pack up his gear and leave without saying anything. At this point I had my gate unlocked and garage door open still for access to the attic. If I hadn't noticed that he had left, anyone could have walked in and stolen tools that I keep in the garage.
