Boba was mediocre. And the service was terribly slow. Waited 30 mins in line before being told I needed a mask. Cashier had an attitude. They don't provide mask, curbside, delivery, or phone orders. Didn't have a backup mask asked if I could use a shirt. She laughed at me and said yeah. Came back in with a shirt made face cover and that I still didn't not put over my face, and no issue ordering LOL just very inconvenient place. This place just didn't do a lot for me. I don't know what it was. Maybe the fact that it took about five minutes to even be acknowledged because no one seemed to be manning the store. Or maybe it was the pack of cigarettes sitting on the counter top (nothing says "classy" like a pack of cigarettes, don'cha think?) We waited awkwardly and finally a seemingly angry Asian guy appeared. (Sorry that my business interrupted your smoke break, dude. Ever heard of customer service?) Being that it was our first time here we didn't quite know the procedure and hadn't yet decided on our order so we asked if they had samples. He handed us a spoon. Yes, one spoon. For the two of us. (Again, just a BIT awkward). It was like we had inconvenienced him or something and he didn't want to mess with us. I didn't quite know what to do. Are you supposed to just stick the spoon under the yogurt machines and hope that you hit it? Hmmm. That might be kind of hard. What if I miss? Finally we decided that maybe we are supposed to just grab a regular cup and serve ourselves the samples. Okaaaaay. Are we limited to one sample? Maybe it's a sample buffet? Are we supposed to use the same cup over and over again? I would think that there are health regulations against that sort of thing, but who am I, Channel 4? We paid for our selections, sat down at a table to eat and noticed the angry Asian guy staring at us. It was kind of creepin' me out the way he kept looking at us. (Uh oh, was it the size of our samples? Just for future reference, probably not the best idea to give a spoon to a fat girl in a yogurt shop. I'm just saying). Then I realized we were sitting under the T.V. (LOL, why didn't someone TELL me?). I think this place has potential based on the other reviews. It looks pretty cool inside with colorful tile and funky, modern, minimalist chairs and tables. Someone obviously put some thought into the decor (love the light fixtures). The yogurt was okay. (It tasted like yogurt). They also had a decent array of toppings. It looks like they serve bubble tea too (I love bubble tea) so I think it's probably worth another try. Hopefully the customer service will be better the next time around. read more

I continue to come here only because it is the only place in Weslaco that serves Boba teas/Smoothies. The service here has gotten so bad that it drove me to actually create an account to leave a review. The employees are always just sitting around at the register, they don't even greet you or even ask if you want to order anything. Whoever taught these employees how to make boba smoothies should be banned from selling them because they always come out so liquidy that they are no where near a "slush/smoothie" texture. Worst service ever. Never coming here again. To top this off, I asked for tapioca in slush and guess what... no tapioca. read more

First time there today, went with my mom. My mom loved her mix of coconut, pineapple and cheesecake yogurts and fruit toppings. I got milk tea for the first time as well. I liked it! Next time I"ll try taro, since I've heard good things about it. I liked the decor and that it's not so packed as Starbucks is. The female and male employees/owners? that were there were very nice :) My gripe is the price. Maybe it's because earn minimum wage lol, but the yogurt is currently 0.45 an oz, and I had the impression that the boba tea came with the pearls by default...they don't. They're 0.60 a scoop ($5.25 total). With taxes, my tea and my mom's 12oz (not even a full cup) of yogurt came out to $12.65. Yikes. We do plan to come back, though for splurges. Update: I don't think I will come back as often as I'd like. I saw on Instagram posts of people taking pictures of menu prices ...for example, one in New York City showed the tea was around the $3.50 range! I spoke to several of my friends who live in other states and they said that this was one of the most expensive teas they have come across and that places they go to always include the pearls, they don't charge extra. I have only had their taro boba, haven't tried anything else from here. My love for yogurt has already been stuck on Yogurtland, nowhere else can replace them, so I'd probably never have the yogurt from here. Fortunately, I was happy with my Taro Boba. The boba was chewy at the right texture, regardless of the normal downside of being much harder after sitting in the cup for too long underneath all the frozen drink for some of them. It's much closer to me so that's a plus. The owner was very friendly too, especially after finding out I'm also Vietnamese. I just wish they have more selection when it comes to boba drinks. My coworker likes their yogurt, so I think they deserve 4 stars instead of 3. read more

Frozen yogurt is a newish trend in the valley. This place is a good first start. This is the only place within twenty miles that's doing what it's doing. I appreciate that they're in Weslaco. The family that runs this place is really polite and sweet. There's always several members in the store. It's nice and clean and well lit. The tables and chairs have a fun modern feel. There's usually some teenagers hanging out. For $0.39 an oz, you can pour and top your own yogurt. They have good flavors--cake batter, vanilla, chocolate, and lots of fruit flavors. All of them have a center where you can twist two. In terms of health, most are under 120 calories per serving and have pro-biotics. Check the label to be sure--they're next to the spouts. If you watch your pour, you can have a pretty healthy snack. There's lots of toppings, too that range from super healthy (strawberries) to not healthy at all (cookie-dough balls). Usually, I top mine with a spoon full of semi-sweet chocolate chips and some fruit. It usually comes out to about $3.50. You can also get a dome and take your yogurt to go. The yogurts themselves are a little bit icy but overall, are sweet and pretty tasty. Their boba tea selection is a little expensive ($4.50-$5.50), but again, they're the only ones selling it within miles of here. If it's something you really like, well...get it here or drive to Austin. Like many other local places in the RGV, it probably wouldn't survive if it had to stand up to a massive amount of competition. But since it doesn't, it's a good place to go and hang out. read more

I grilled burgers for my friend and his roommates and afterward we decided to head out fro fro-yo. But we drove for 20 minutes to get there. That's dedication. This is a very clean shop with a variety of frozen yogurts, from simple vanilla bean or chocolate to NY cheesecake or mango strawberry. Standard mix-ins were available. At $0.39/oz, I think this is fair as long as you don't overload your cup. We all enjoyed our concoctions and left happy. Especially when one considers I don't have a sweet tooth. read more

I have gone here several times and never had an issue. This place is something fresh for Weslaco. A town that has nothing, but fast food or Mexican restaurants/treat stands. I never had the frozen yogurt, just the boba teas. They have a great reward system. After a few purchases I already accumulated over $7 to use on my next purchases. The place is clean, maybe can use updated decor. Looks plain, and simple. Worth a stop. read more

Very nice friendly service. The atmosphere is comfortable and the yogurt is delicious. This recently became my favorite spot to relax after a busy college day with my boyfriend.
