So I've been tanning at the sun club for several years and recently it was bought by your company…read more I chose to stay to support the new business owner and try it out, and I half to say I'm considering leaving now, it's just not the same, the beds are not as clean, they still offer 50 percent of lotions as of now but they raised the original prices so your still paying a lot for the lotion, ps, I used to be a district manager for a tanning company and I know what they are actually paying for lotions.. much much less, Debbie was fair and considerate of her clientele. Lastly the upgrade price change, which is doubled the rate as before. As a business owner myself it's not smart to make dramatic changes off the bat when clientele is already questioning weather to stay or not. You half to slowly ease those things. And lastly the clients here are used to a bubbly atmosphere, now we are greeted with people in their cellphones texting and talking, I just don't know. Miss you Debbie!!! This is my first time getting level 1 beds, usually I tan in 15 min beds. No fancy misting or better built in cooling, etc. but they weren't bad at all. They have box fans at the top end of the bed to help keep you cool, I went to put my hands above my head and like kangaroo punched the fan, knocking it over, had to get out and fix it, tragic. I was able to get a good tan in about 10 visits

Living in South Side I tried all the tanning salons... even after moving outside the city, I still come here. Even though I've been coming here forever, I just had my first spray tan a few weeks ago and I LOVED it! I was really nervous about the color (you know, turning orange), but it was really natural looking. I thought after a shower or two it'd be gone, but it lasted over a week. I'm sure it would have lasted even longer if I took care of it like you're supposed to. I just saw they added Red Light Therapy. I've heard it's amazing, but haven't been able to find it anywhere near me. I can't wait to try it next!

My 18-year old daughter just wanted to come in for a quick and capable up-do to match the picture she saw. When we had to ask them to do it over (because she was so unhappy), they did, but daughter felt awful and anxious for putting them out and just wanted to leave. She has a million things to do today to prepare! An up-do should NOT take two hours to get right. Last year's experience was identical and also took much longer than it should have. They didn't listen when we told them how fair her hair is. it requires a LOT of hair spray to get curls to stay in place. Now that we are back home, on a humid and drizzly day, the rush just from the car to the front steps (less than five seconds) has made her hair fall completely flat. I am furious that not only was precious money and two hours of our lives wasted, it was all for nothing, and my daughter now feels sick to her stomach that she has to re-curl her hair that put her mother out over $100 when we could not comfortably afford it. I got my wedding hair done there in 1997-that's how loyal a customer I was. They can't even afford quality hair spray, and the beauty stylists told me they provide their own equipment (so they didn't even HAVE a half-inch barrel curling iron). Job supplies can't be written off on taxes anymore, since too many unethical people got that cancelled, and salons still make employees pay for their own supplies? They used a flattener to curl her hair. And had no instant-freeze hair spray. And they made sure I knew that TWO of them were working on my daughter's hair today instead of ONE, which meant I had no choice but tip them both for the TWO-hour colossal waste of our time that has ruined my afternoon and the lovely "getting ready for prom" experience. I will NEVER set foot in there again. AND I want my money back.

They take appointments but longest I've had to wait for a walk-in has been ten minutes; their seating area is comfortable and I take that time to browse their clothes. I like doing red light therapy followed by tanning beds. They have 2 stand up beds for level 2, 1 for red light and a lay down. They also gave other beds for different levels and offer spray tans. They offer so many more services. This year they have hairdressers, and nail techs as well, to name a few. I always go every summer before vacation to get a base tan. I really enjoy going to Suns of Insanity. The only drawback is the meter parking which can be costly if you tan regularly.
