I have been to many Tropical Smoothies, so I know the flavors are usually really good. This time, not so much. I went specifically for the online exclusive, Strawberry Shortcake smoothie. I expected it to taste like strawberries and pound cake. Instead, it tasted like cinnamon oatmeal with some strawberry syrup on top. It's also very tan looking, which didn't help with the oatmeal comparison. I couldn't finish it. I do recommend the Island Green or the Bahama Mama, as those are my usual picks. read more

Went to the store recently and the bathroom smelled lovely. The restaurant was extraordinarily clean compared to other tropical smoothies I've been to. The two employees Xavier and Caleb were very helpful and friendly. They greeted me and my friends when we walked in the door and they were very knowledgeable of the menu. This group of employees were getting multiple orders incorrect and messed my order up completely. I was there yesterday and I wasn't real impressed compared to the one I normally go and get my smoothie. I will admit it was first thing in the morning and when I pull in the park a lot the employees that were working were standing outside. Once I get in one of them was sitting down unprofessional. This Tropical smoothie cafe was not very good. The smoothies were overfilled, and they were not blended fully.

This used to be a nice establishment, but has really gone downhill. Manager has her whole family hanging out while she works. Girl that rang me up had pajama bottoms on and screwed up my order. Wait times are always ridiculous here regardless of whether they are busy or not. But the managers family is always hanging out at a table beside the register like squatters. Decent experience for lunch today. My Totally Turkey wrap and Paradise Point Smoothie were both tasty and were prepared pretty quickly (and thanks to a coupon, the smoothie was free!). The restaurant dining area is cozy and clean. The lady at the register was not personable. While not rude to me, she was argumentative with a customer she helped after me who was simply asking questions about the menu- very off-putting. The two ladies who delivered my food and smoothie, however, were both friendly. I'll be back since I love TSC and now work pretty close, but am hoping that the sub-par service won't be the norm. read more

Had a foreign object in my smoothie, ended up giving me a stomach ache for 2 days....

The guy who took our orders punched a wrong order. He gave us the wrap instead of the bowl. When I complained about it, he yelled at his other co-worker and told her that it wasn't his fault and he said I did not tell him it's a bowl. I had two other friends confirmed I said bowl and not wrap. The lady crew was nice enough to replace our orders. The next person who ordered also got the wrong order. Not sure what's wrong with that crew but he's taking wrong orders and putting the blame on the customers. Very unprofessional. Not coming back here again. read more

Whoops! Forgot to post a 6 month old draft for a review, so here I go! Honestly, I came here for the longest time while working in Wmbg. Every time I got a smoothie here it was great. Not to mention they have "Happy Hour" every weekday morning from 7am to 10am, which means half off of everything..! The owner is there early in the morning around the 7am hour when I'm there, and his smoothies always turn out perfect. Don't hesitate to stop in bc you will not be disappointed! read more

I used to love this place. I am not sure what has happened to it. I came in this morning at about 9:00 as there were no employees in sight. After standing at the front and calling hello once I still had to wait another three or four minutes before anyone emerged. I probably should have left them but I really wanted one of the wraps, so I waited. I ordered a combo and asked for a fountain drink instead of a smoothie, which I used to get all the time. The employee working there informed me that the syrup for the soda machine had gotten too expensive so they removed the machine. He told me that my options were the ones in the cooler in front of me, but they only had bottles of sprite and water, most of the cooler was empty (see my photos). Then he told me that they were thinking of getting a new or soda machine even though the employees were the only ones that really drink soda. Whatever, I just wanted my wrap. So I went to sit down in a booth and he stood staring vacantly out of the window of the front of the store, a couple of minutes later finally realizing that he actually had to go make my wrap - which he did. I am not sure if the ingredients for the wrap are too expensive also, because they were not all on there.... But, it is edible, just not very good. Really bummed out that this place has gone downhill so much since my last visit. read more

My mom and I were leaving the area after attending a special event for the weekend. It was about 2pm on a Saturday. We were greeted when we first walked through the door, with a smile, and when we had questions about the seasonal menu the lady at the register was pleasant in answering them. I ordered the Very Berry Cranberry smoothie, Sweet N' Smoky Chicken flatbread, with Smokehouse BBQ chips. NO COMPLAINTS!!! You gotta have it. The service was very pleasant and fast. Our food was very fresh and tasty. We were very pleased with its location, especially after a little shopping. read more

I went in here this afternoon and watched as the employees making the smoothies were sipping out of the cups prior to handing those very cups over to the customers. The worse customer service ever! During the last three visits, they have forgot to make my order and acted as if I was bothering them. The kids menu is not listed on the board so for them to tell me the three flavors caused them great pain. I will find another location at this point. read more

First time coming to this location, and first time ordering food. I got half a sandwich and a smoothie. At first when I got my sandwich there was barely any chicken salad. I took it back up to the counter and asked her for maybe a bit more and she gladly took it back and added more. Will be back again! read more
