I LOVE that I can order ahead on the app. Makes my life so much easier. I'm sure it helps speed things along for the staff too. I wish everyone would use the order ahead option in the app lol 99% of my drinks are the same every time I order, but sometimes my order is prepared differently than in the past and I think it has something to do with WHO is preparing it. But it's always delicious. I do wish the drive thrus were a bit faster, once your in line there is no going back, just have to sit and wait it out. Love the points system and holiday gifts. Low and behold there is a Freddy's in Williamsburg, so we decided to take a little "part-of-the-day trip" to chrck it out. Upon entry, everyone working there greeted us and were super friendly. It was pretty busy in there, and i found the tables and chairs to be super close together and i felt a little claustrophobic. Maybe it was the abundance of the color red. The lady who took our order at the counter was very patient while we figured out the menu, which is mostly smash burgers in a variety of iterations, along with a variety of sides. I ordered a "single cheeseburger " with a side of shoestring fries. The cheeseburger is actually a smashburger that is practically a paper-thin "burger". It was very bland, to be honest. Their burgers, unless otherwise specified, come with pickles, mustard, and onions. The shoestring fries were awesome. Simple, not greasy. My husband got 2 Steakburger Tacos, which he said were "just okay". He also got a side of tots, which he found to be overly greasy. We couldn't leave without trying some of Freddy's Frozen custard. I had a small cone of vanilla, which if blind-taste-tested against McDonald's soft serve, i wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. Which is fine. We also got a chocolate malt shake, which was super good. Was it worth the drive? Meeeeehhh. The best things were the shoestring fries and the milkshake. Oh, they also serve Pepsi products. This is the first time that I have ever seen Pepsi Zero in a soda machine at a fast food restaurant. That was pretty cool. It's the little things. Would we go again? The food was hot: the hot dog was fresh and tasty on a fresh bun, the taco was just okay; the chicken quesadilla was good as well; we enjoyed the fried cheese bites (we wished there were more!); and the fries were hot and good. We did wash our food down with a sweet tea (that was SO good) and a pink lemonade (also good). All in all, a great place to grab a quick bite, especially late in the evening when other food places have closed.

As I stood at the counter to order, I had my chick-fil-A app out (ready to use), but was informed that I can't use it because it is a college location (it is by William and Mary College). I ordered anyways because we were already there. We mainly dealt with one of their employees, Christian. Some in our party ordered meals while some did not (at the time we ordered, there were not a lot of patrons in this store). We tried the "Strawberry Passion Tea Lemonade" which is Limited and enjoyed by those in our party that drank it. It is only served in the Large size (don't be thrown off if you receive it in a small cup). I also got to try their Strawberry Milkshake (first time having that flavor at one of the locations) and I enjoyed it (they accidentally made a milkshake, so that is how I got it). Their milkshakes are served in the large foam cups here (not clear ones which I am used to). You do only get one size which is at all locations. Its a decent place to stop if you need something quick near campus.
