I am writing this review strictly because of the cranberry truffle smoothie, which is unbelievable! It sort of tastes like a raspberry cream saver! Divine! The size is generous as usual, and the service was super quick. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - CRANBERRY TRUFFLE™ - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Novi, Michigan

Worst experience at tropical smoothie ever . I came in it's one person working while 2 other workers are in the backs and they keep yelling and obnoxiously clapping it's was just weird . Then the one worker finally comes to me after I don't get acknowledged for about 10 minutes but that's ok she's one person . But the worst part of all was the fact she got a dirty blender washed it for about 5 second it was still visibly dirty she makes my smoothie in it drops it off to me says nothing . Never had a experience like this I go to multiple locations weekly read more

We went here twice in one week to use our rewards (if you refer someone through the app, you both get a free smoothie). For both visits, each employee was not friendly - they didn't seem like they wanted to be there. I ordered a green smoothie and it was okay. The interior is spacious but the heat was cranked up. If I had to wait any longer for my smoothie, I would have gotten a bloody nose. read more

We love the smoothies here and sandwiches and quesadillas are usually good. The three cheese quesadilla is my favorite with red salsa. (The green is less spicy) Tonight our Three Cheese Chicken quesadillas were thin and empty. The ingredients started almost two inches down and very little chicken. Our son had Supergreen Chicken Caesar Wrap and there was only chicken in 2/3 of the sandwich. Were they out of chicken(?) I decided to call and let the manager know about our very poor experience and he said we would have to bring the half eaten food in for him to give us a refund. After a long day did we want to drive back up there before they close in twenty minutes? I don't think so. Poor food quality and poor customer service. read more

Service was horrible waited 15 minutes for my smoothie. Then proceeded to drink a watered down smoothie. Terrible customer service. Go to beyond!!!! read more

They were super quick during our most recent visit here. Usually, it's so slow it feels like they are growing and harvesting the fruit before it can be made into a drink. Not today though, it was the absolute fastest we've ever had the drink made. We got the Bahama Mama and it was done correctly too, so that is a plus. read more

The staff is amazing and the food is bussin. oh and don't even get me started on the smoothies Ts so good ong. it's hard to choose what I like the most: the staff or the food/smoothies. 10/10 recommend! read more

Excellent service, speedy, and very conscientious staff, just a over all excellent experience

Seriously will never order anything but listen to me from this place ever again. I've been here on two different occasions and have ordered two different things of chicken and it's been all messed up. First time I ordered a Baja chicken bowl my chicken was cold like that just pulled out of the refrigerator my rice was hard not even cooked all the way yes the shredded cheese was melted and had gotten cold because the cold chicken in the cold right to put on top of it. This morning I ordered a smoothie and breakfast wrap and sure enough my chicken was cold my eggs was cold who wants to eat cold chicken . Not to mention I'm pregnant so I really don't want to eat cold chicken. And just to be clear I made my order at 9:48am and arrived at 9:55am. Order was ready to go. But clearly they should have taken more time. Tried calling. No answer. read more

Great place for Smoothies of all kinds! Prices I would say good considering fresh fruit used etc. Lots of Sandwiches to choose from. Rather loud atmosphere due to echo in building and blenders Running. But still great drinks and food. I use the app which allows u to order ahead and also earn rewards towards free items. Free drinks or even more with the earnings. Try this place! read more

Horrible. We walked in at 8:30 music blaring!!!And they said we could only get drinks, no food, which my daughter wanted a sandwich There was still 30 minutes left til closing! No problem the lady at Detroit wing co. Was very helpful and took our order with no problem! I'll never go back to this location, they clearly get paid too much to close early! read more

The food/smoothies are good but this place is so slow. I went here one night and I was the only person in there and it still took 20 minutes to get my order (a wrap with a bag of chips). The staff was more interested in gossip that serving their only customer. They had also packed up the interior with an hour left before closing leaving no where to sit! The lunch rush is huge here because of the hospital nearby so make sure you do a mobile order. read more

I just came in and a short blonde girl completely wiped out !! She put her hands on the floor and then started to make my food without gloves. I was really confused but didn't say anything. Manager asked her why she wasn't wearing gloves and she said they were uncomfortable. Also she was wearing slippers and I could see her toes CLEARLY (unpainted). My sandwich was uncooked and somehow had a pink acrylic nail in it. Smoothie was completely liquid and clearly had lime in it when I ordered a bahama mama. I would never recommend coming here unless you want to see a circus. read more

Worst customer service I've ever received. I have ordered an island green for years without kale. I have the option in app and in store to request it and still get spinach. "Fred" insisted that this was not possible. He kept saying I just made it. I buy this drink weekly. The drink isn't orange. Honestly. No help and probably one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. read more

When my friend and i decided to come into tropical smoothie the service was absolute garbage and the workers were so rude. The workers acknowledged our presence but decided to not take our orders for about 10 minutes. My friend got heavily judged for putting something in her smoothie. That is just disrespectful and uncalled for. I am never returning to this location due to the lack of respect I received. read more

My husband ran in this location today after we went to target .He was in his work clothes he restores old cars.He said the girl was rude they were on there phones acted like u were bothering them.He couldn't even drink the smoothie said was awful read more

I gave this location a chance when I moved to the area even though the location I tried previously was a disappointment. However, this store seems to have it together. The staff are usually pretty nice. The smoothies almost always come out with perfect consistency. I did have an issue one time where they added way too much ice and it came out not great. But overall, this location made me really like Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I'll be back! read more

Every time I've been here in the past year I've been disappointed. The staff sits on the counters where food is made, don't wear gloves or wash their hands, and don't wash the blenders between uses. Thankfully I don't have any allergies or else it would be an issue. Not only are they rude, but they never have an order ready in a timely matter. I always order ahead so I can pick it up on my lunch break, and it's either made wrong, not ready on time, or both!!!! read more

I have been to this location several times for work and always order online. The food and smoothies are good when prepared properly, but this location seems to really struggle with quality control because they consistently make mistakes on our orders. About half the time when I order a smoothie without the added sugar there ends up being added sugar in the smoothie. When customizing sandwiches, it is also hit or miss whether they add or remove what you ask them to. I also once received a flatbread that did not even come close to resembling anything on the menu. It appeared to be a combination of several different flatbreads. Management needs to hold their employees to higher standards because I have been to other Tropical Smoothie locations and orders there have always been accurate, no matter the size of the order or how busy they are at the time. read more

This location has really declined. Walked in today (I'm the only customer). The place is TRASHED. Garbage all over the counters. The three workers were just fooling around and being super loud. I'm all for fun at the job site, but help your guests first and chill when you have guests. Just not professional at all. I get it's hard to get employees...but you're losing more business with these employees and your place looking like the slums. I won't be back! read more

This place is a joke. I've tried many times because it's within work lunch range. Employees are rude and super slow. Wait times are always 30min + for a smoothie and wrap.. store Wasn't clean. Will not come back. read more

The workers here as lazy and slow as they could possibly be. Try to be nice and ask how their day is going, get completely ignored. Come in an hour before they close and act like making one smoothie is the worst thing possible. Well, news flash: it's your damn job. If you don't like it; quit. If I owned this location I'd fire just about everyone or at least do a much better job at running a business. read more

Smoothies were fine. Super disappointed with the experience inside. We're still in a pandemic and only the young lady who rang us up wore a mask. None of the young dude-bros making the smoothies wore any. And they seemed much more interested in chatting with their unmasked dude-bro buddies who were hanging over the exposed portion of the counter while our smoothies were being made, breathing all over everything. Somehow our two smoothies were done after the three smoothies of the people who ordered after us. This is what happens when operations are entrusted to a bunch of high school kids. Not eager to return to this location. read more

Placed an order online at 6:02pm. Arrived at 6:15 to pick-up. Walked in to find 3 young girls sitting on the back counter playing on their phones. They told me they don't have an online order. They jumped down to start making them. Great smoothie! Management should install some cameras and monitor employees. I would discipline my staff for that behavior. read more

I go to this location about 5 times a week. Sometimes I have large orders and sometimes just for me. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. When I order online (from the app), regardless of how packed they are, a few employees will recognize me and get my order without me even asking. They never mess up my orders and the orders are always made on time regardless of them being small or large orders. This location is usually pretty busy at all different times of the day. One of the busiest I've seen is around the time high school gets out and lunch time. The smoothies are the best around and its nice to be able to get some food options as well. Personally I like the hummus veggie wrap. The location is clean and has lots of parking. M read more

I was thrilled that they put a TS in!! I love this place. This location had great service and it was large with a good amount of seating. The items on the.menu can be just as bad as going to Burger King, so you have to watch what you order. read more

Super bummed. I usually go to the Westland location which is wonderful. However, I can't say the same about Novi. Both our smoothies were chunky, and our grilled breakfast wrap was cold.. fresh out of the fridge never saw the oven cold. Safe to say, I won't be back. read more

So after waiting forever in line to order, the guy at the counter tells me that they're not serving food because they're too busy with online orders. Huh? Since when does an online order take precedence over a live customer? Business must be pretty good if they can deny service. Here's a bright idea: if you're going to make a decision like that, maybe put up a sign to spare your customers the time wasted waiting to be turned away. And if I were the franchise owner and found out that my staff were making decisions that hurt my revenues and reputation, I would be pissed! Guess what tropical smoothie cafe? I won't be back! And I'm going to tell anyone who listens why! read more
