I didn't try the protein shakes, but I did order a tea called the "Captain America." The tea itself tasted good, but honestly, I thought it was a bit overpriced, I think it was around $10 or $11 for the smaller size. I wasn't really sure what I was paying for, was there protein in it, or was it mainly for energy, or just hydration? It wasn't very clear. Overall, it was a decent drink, just not something I'd get often at that price point. The worker was extremely nice though!

If you read any of my posts about local spots,…read moreI'm always complaining that GC business is dying, leaving me worried about what business is supporting my house value. Aside from keeping my Land value right side up, this place is handling their own business JUST RIGHT!! KN is consistent, they know their product, which happens to be Herbalife, their audience, almost anybody falls into this category, and their purpose, for me it's shakes and teas, for others it's a lifestyle!!!! I've had other shake places like this, I didn't like it and they were $3-4 more. I'm not saying this for KN to raise their prices, in fact just the opposite, I sometimes have to mentally justify coming here more than once a week, and low price does that for me, plus GC is neither rich nor poor, were a very healthy balance of Bridge cards and backyard swimming pools. Back to trying others, the taste was chalky and heavy in protein powder essence. I tried one in Taylor, using it as a meal replacement at work and 2 hours later, Hungry again. I tried my first at KN while deep cleaning my house and I was fueled for a good 6 hours, even calling a friend and chatting her ear off, which is TOTALLY unlike my character. OMG, I could go on and on but I want you READER to try for yourself and post below. Oh, you want to know what I order, of course! White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake (with whipped topping at a whopping 10 calories), and Peach Tea with mango aloe shot. If you hear that order placed by a lady with pink hair, that's me, feel free to say hi!!!

There's basically a 3/4 step process to ordering your combo drinks. Either you pick an aloe shot…read morewith your flavor of tea or you pick a "berry bomb" which has three parts to it. After that drink (which comes in three sizes/ berry bomb comes in two) you pick a smoothie. There are quite a few. Some are amazing but some taste a little powdery which took it down a star. Even if you enjoy a specific smoothie sometimes the flavor isn't consistent because the employees mix them individually. The other disappointment is the ordering process. There isn't anything to keep customers in order and if there's any more than 3 customers your drink is going to take forever. It's a nice vibe but if you're coming after a workout you don't really have any energy to stand and wait.

(I had to see what the hype was about) This is definitely a health smoothie! I did drink it. It was expensive but the benefits that it was going to give I guess would be worth it but-- I'm a foodie and I prefer a good taste over health lol it wasn't a bad tasting smoothie but it definitely was a health smoothie. Finding a triple espresso with enough cream that was gentle to my stomach was a delight and comparable to other barista-made coffee drinks but at a better price.
