I found myself in Murphy, Tx and was needing some energy and a quick bite to eat. I found this place near by and stopped for a smoothie and quick bite to go. I drank the smoothie on my hour long ride home and ate the wrap about an hour after that . The smoothie was refreshing and delicious and energizing!! The wrap was tasty and hit the spot along with the kale apple slaw !! Next time I'm in Murphy I'll stop by for another round !! read more

The smoothie and service was great, but the temperature of the restaurant is so hot that it makes it unbearable to eat here.

I visited this location today to order a Bahama Mama bowl. Typically, the base is frozen and the fruit topping is fresh. However, on this occasion, the entire bowl, including the fruit--was completely frozen, making it inedible. I've visited this location many times, as well as others, and the fruit has never been completely frozen. This experience was disappointing and not reflective of the usual quality. read more

This was my first visit to Tropical Smoothie. I tried a smoothie that I wouldn't have normally tried and didn't like it. I talked to the person that was in charge and she didn't offer to make me something else or to help out in any way. I don't think I have ever had this happen where the product that the customer had wasn't to their liking and they offered to do something about it. Really disappointed. We also had a big group in the place. Group 11-12 people who had just spent $200+ in there at 7:00pm on a Saturday. They did not have one other customer the whole time we were in there. read more

Ordered the Baja grilled chicken wrap and it was very good. The wrap was refreshing, the chicken was moist and there was flavor in every bite. The Wrap came pre-cut which is good since it's so big, I would definitely ordered this again. I also got the sweet potatoes which were pretty much just roasted sweet potatoes with a hint of cinnamon. I went here for the first time today, I'll definitely be back. I love that you can add any smoothie to any food item for $4.59. And the size of the smoothie was WOW! They have an extensive menu with a ton of great and tasty items! I got a Thai chicken wrap, it was really good. My daughter got the chicken pesto flatbread, she really liked it. We love tropical smoothie café and this is our favorite location. We are always greeted upon entering the restaurant which is nice! We recently ordered TSC for our team pre-game meal for The Colony Topcats Drill Team. I met with the manager, Zack a week prior to the game to go over details of the order which included salads, wraps, smoothies, chips for a team of 35. Zack was so accommodating and was able to work with our team budget. On game day, everything was ready at the arranged pick up time. The bags were all clearly labeled with type meal choice inside each one, and the smoothies were labeled too. Zack and the staff worked hard to prepare this order, label everything and pack the smoothies in an ice chest that he allowed me to borrow. I was assisted with loading everything in my SUV as well. The food was a hit with the team and we were happy to have a healthier choice to offer other than pizza (although they do like that once in awhile too!). I'm a new regular here because I love this place! I always get the Chia Banana Boost with peanut butter, and the Chicken Caprese sandwich. My little sister loves the Açaí Berry Boost! Smoothies were nice and refreshing as always and the service was fast but the ambiance and staff were not the best of TSC. There was no music in the store so it made it a little awkward being the only ones inside at the time. Additionally, staff have been more friendly at other locations such as the TSC on Custer Rd - not to say that this staff wasn't welcoming, just not the best. I personally had the avocolada and it wasn't bad, but if you're feeling a green smoothie then I would go for the island green or island detox. The avocolada has a stronger kale flavor than preferred. Got raving reviews on the watermelon mojito and guava margarita though! Strong watermelon and guava flavors so I would recommend :) and as for the açaí berry boosts, always a hit - think of açaí bowls on a budget! read more

I work nearby so I wanted to go check it out, not entirely sure what to expect. Inside was nice and clean, had a bright atmosphere! I ordered the Chicken Pesto and a Sunrise Sunset smoothie and both were good! The Pesto was probably one of the best I've ever had, so it's definitely worth it. I am giving two stars because of previous trips to this location. They apparently have a new employee who is out to save a few pennies on the drinks by giving me a very watered down smoothie. I literally thought it was water when I took a sip. A pretty expensive water slushy with a small hint if fruit taste.
