The only downside was that the bread seemed to absorb more of a papery taste from the wrapper upon for leftovers after left in the fridge overnight, but fresh it was delicious. The delivery bag was sealed well, and the sandwiches were wrapped so nicely. The Big Kahuna cheesesteak was really good, and i'd definitely get it again, with plenty of meat. The giant-sized The Original Italian was indeed giant, and I really liked how it came together. Sometimes italians can be too oily for me, but this was just right, and was very filling. Italians still arent my favorite, but this is the best chain sub italian i've had; far better than Subway's. Really good experience and they made a fan out of me!

They told me it would be a few minutes since it was busy and I told them no problem that is fine. My family all got their sandwiches to sit and eat and I was watching them make mine. After they set my sandwich down next to the regular ones, I told them it needs to be made on the back counter and not on the main line where the other sandwiches are. The manager said we know. I continued to watch them make my sandwich with all the other regular bread sandwiches with bread crumbs flying all over. When they called that the sub was ready I came to the counter and again told the younger girl with long black hair that I can't eat that now, it was made on the main line and when I request it being made for an allergy it is usually made away from the other sandwiches over there and pointed to the back counter where they always make gluten free. She told me that it was really busy right now and they can't make it that way. It had to be made on the regular counter. Why even ask me if gluten free was for an allergy or a preference then????!!!!!!!!!! No other option was given. Just handed me the sandwich and expected me to eat it even though it was contaminated. The manager saw this too and offered no other solution. It could have simply been resolved by telling me they would make me a new one on the back counter area for gluten free if I could wait a few minutes and I would have been fine with that. Instead my husband who was angry at that point had the sandwich refunded since they refused to remake it for me. I sat and watched my family eat and had to grab something else on the way home. Completely unacceptable. Don't offer gluten free for allergy purposes if your staff is not knowledgeable about it or willing to accommodate even when its busy. Your staff was rude and the manager didn't even try to help and had a look on her face like she hated being there.

Jersey Mike's is how I found out I'm allergic to sulfites. What are sulfites? They are…read morepreservatives that Jersey Mike's puts on their meats. Sometimes you can see an irridescent sheen from the meats -- that is the sulfites. I tried an experiment after getting quite sick at Jersey Mike's: I got a veggie sub with the same toppings as the sub that got me sick. No problem! That's when I found out some people are sensitive to sulfites. I also found that same irridescent sheen on meat at Aldi. If you get sick after eating there, it's probably not because of spoiled or mishandled food, it could be that you are sensitive to sulfites like me. Hope this helps someone.
