The food is good, for quick eats like 4/5. The smoothies and açai bowls are actually horrible for you unless you get the detox one, it's not organic at all and mostly syrups, water, and ice, minimal fruit. 1/5 for drinks health wise, they taste good but so does a candy bar, which is a fair equivalent in nutrition. BUT that's not what dragged my tush onto this app to leave a review, it's the friggin kale apple slaw. So yummy, but (depending on if you can open your mouth as wide as the average adult) two bites. From the moment we walked in, we weren't greeted, and were treated relatively coldly (even when we engaged in conversation with them, it was still poor customer service). When we got our bowls (served in to go bags while we were inside), the açai bowl with Nutella was FROZEN... like literally frozen, I had to chip away at it with a plastic spoon.After thawing out a bit though, it was ok for a bowl, but still, nobody should ever be served a smoothie bowl completely frozen. The peanut butter bowl was technically as advertised, but I would never recommend getting it for anyone. The Greek yogurt and the peanut butter do not go well together, it doesn't taste like a smoothie bowl, just tastes like a bowl of yogurt with poorly mixed in peanut butter, crunched up granola bar, chocolate chips on top and other toppings. (It could be enjoyed by some, but we personally hated it). To give some credit, the location was decorated very beautifully, and it seemed hygienic, but that doesn't take away from how bad this experience was. One of my favorite treats ever is getting an açai bowl on the weekends, or on Sunday, and I've never once been disappointed in an açai bowl, no matter how cheap or how expensive. This experience changed that, and I will NEVER go back to that location again. I've been to other Tropical Smoothie cafe locations before and they were an ok experience, but this location was BY FAR the worst smoothie bowl experience of my (and my mom's) life. A pleasant experience! The Caesar chicken wrap was really good. The green smoothie and the açaí berry smoothie were delicious and refreshing! We were waited on quickly and we thought the staff were all efficient and friendly. One minor detail I noticed was the broom, dust pan and mop were all out in the dining area. As a customer, I would prefer not to see the cleaning things as I am eating. I would suggest putting them away so things look a little more orderly and more sanitary. I went to this location a few weeks back and lets just say my entire experience was terrible. I went in during normal work hours and the doors were locked. they shouldve been open like 2 hours earlier? Anyways, I went back again and they were open thankfully, but I was already uneasy due to my last experience. I ordered a Detox Island green with vitamin C, energizer, collagins, vitamin b12, pea protein, chia seeds, and flax and they obviously forget the energizer part of it. They then proceeded to look at my funny after I made this order which I did not appreciate. The person working at the counter kept asking if there was "Anything else". If there WAS anything else, I wouldn't be ready to pay for my drink wouldn't I? Anyways, I payed for my smoothie, which cost 20 DOLLARS! I can't believe what Biden is doing to this economy! Not to mention that they forget all about my caramel drizzle which I explicitly asked for even when they told me they didn't have it. This is the problem with workers these days, they don't want to work hard! I say that we should lower the wages of these workers until they can learn their lesson! This was unacceptable. No customers should ever be treated this way. After I got my food I passed out and had to go to the ER because of the STENCH! P. U.!!! If nothing else, go for the CORN! The jalapeño corn which can be purchased as a side was scrumptious! I wasn't expecting to order corn walking into a smoothie shop, but it turns out they have more than just smoothies! Try out the chicken pesto flatbread as well, AND for dessert, a pleasurable conversation with Ms. Ariella! Sure you will have your dessert before your main course, but it's worth it! Smoothie was good, BUT I ordered a caprese sandwich not realizing there was pesto (my fault) so I called to ask if there was nuts in their pesto and I was going to ask what kind of nuts (because I'm ALLERGIC to certain nuts) and the girl was extremely rude as soon as she picked up the phone. I accidentally called the wrong location so she proceeded to interrupt me saying "we don't deal with orders from other locations I don't know how they messed up your food but we don't deal with that" and I had to interrupt her and say "well there's nothing wrong with the sandwich actually, I was just wondering if there's nuts in the pesto..." and before I could finish and say "and if there is what type of nuts" she interrupted me again and said "there's nuts in all pesto that's what pesto is" so thanks for nothing LOL read more

We were one of the very first customer's when they opened on their opening day. We even got a free smoothie for a year (one a week). I loved this place 'or so I thought' because I've been to the location in Boise on Main St quite a bit. This location is not good in any way, shape or form. They always take about 30min per vehicle in the drive through, and every time we order a smoothie from them they either get it wrong, or over charge us. This time around -today when we got to the speaker at the drive through, I told the girl how awful our smoothies were last time. They had absolutely no flavor, big chunks of ice in it so we couldn't even sip through the straw, I had to go home and completely remake them. So I asked the girl if she could please throw in a little bit of extra ginger, and a free scoop of peanut butter to make up for the last time. After a good bit of explanation she said yes, no problem. When we got to the window, we asked why are the smoothies so expensive? She said because you got extra ginger and a scoop of peanut butter. I explained to her that we thought they were going to be comped because of the poor experience last time, but she refused to take if off. This is why I am writing this review. They can't seem to get there act together and it's worse every time we go to the location at 1060 S Ancona Ave in Eagle. I will not be going back to this Location and only going to the one in Bosie. read more
