Staff was very welcoming and sweet, smoothie was made wonderfully as well. The only thing I have to say is the place just needs a good thorough deep cleaning. You can see the dirt/food running down all the walls. Hoping the food prep isn't the same read more

Since this place has low star. I am trying them out for their new smoothie. The time I went is 3 pm and not many of people. The place is a bit of small and have a few table. I am trying up their new Avocolada. It is a mix of avocado, lime, coconut, spinach, kale, and pineapple. It is a good combination with smoothie ice. Taste is great. The drink was prepared in 5 min. Not bad for the price for the large size cup. My experience here is ok may be is off hour. read more

This location is spacious and is easy to navigate to. I have only been in the morning, around 7am but the staff is knowledgeable and kind. The young man has suggested things to get and seems to know his business. They are quick, but it does seem like there is usually 1-2 people working in the morning. I like to order ahead so it is ready when I get there. There is plenty of parking. I have had a number of smoothies over the years from here. My favorite smoothie is the Chia Banana Boost but it is high in calories so I try to limit myself so that I only have it ever once in a while. I like it with peanut butter. When I want something super clean, I get the Island Green or Detox Island Green. You really can't go wrong and if you don't like something in the smoothie they will swap. read more

When you're trying not to do "fast food" but something healthy this is the place to go. Whenever I come here they always quickly take my order and it seems clean. Any place where I can see the workers wearing discardable gloves which they change each time they fix your food is a plus to me. I always order the Island Surprise because it has Kale & Spinach in it, yet the perfect balance of fruit so that it really tastes good. My daughter loves it and I resort to coming here at times when she gets set in her toddler ways and refuses to eat anything at home and turns her nose up at any veggies...this is mom's clever way of sneaking it in and I tell her that it's ice cream (bwahahahaahaaaa!!) The chicken pesto for $3.99 tastes great, it's on flatbread with melted cheese, chicken and the pesto...it's' really good! Even my finicky picky toddler likes it and that my friend is an accomplishment. read more

This will be our new GO TO location. We have been loyal customers of the Gulf-to-Bay location and the staff and service has been awful over and over. This location got our order right, at the time promised and with smiles on their friendly faces Thank you for having great customer service. Gulf-to-Bay location lacked in all of these things. read more

Came here for the flip flop day to get my free smoothie and it was fabulous as always. Despite there being a long line, they were quick and accommodating to my request to have no sugar in mine. They even came in souvenir cups this year which I thought was pretty cool. Tropical Smoothie always has fresh food and their smoothies are always good. You won't be disappointed coming here. read more

Just went here for the first time because of the great reviews. I walked into a clean, empty establishment. The employee walked up, didn't smile, never looked me in the eye, and asked what I wanted. I told him my smoothie order, he mumbled the total, took my card, swiped it, handed it back, and walked off. No receipt, no real customer service approach, just cold and bitter. Since it was just a smoothie I stood and waited and looked over to see him holding his cell phone and texting while my smoothie was blending. No gloves, nothing sanitary about it - holding a cell phone; which have typically more germs than a dogs ass. When it was finished he walked it over to the counter, set it down abruptly and nearly spilled it, said "here" and then just walked off. Possibly my worst first time experience anywhere in years. I definitely won't be back, and now I don't even have confidence that I can drink this $6 smoothie without potentially getting sick thanks to his complete lack of regard for safe health practices in food preparation. In short, I'm pissed. read more

Stopped by here to grab a smoothie on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. When I walked in I was greeted by the friendly employee. I ordered the sunrise sunset smoothie and it was very good, or too sweet. I waited a little bit for my smoothie because there was only one girl behind the counter at the time and she looked like she was also filling other orders of some people in front of me, but I still did not wait long. The location is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. Free WiFi too! Good location and easy access. read more

Whenever I come to this location everyone is working hard to take care of customers, other locations could take lessons, from these good workers. The smoothies are consistent and the food is always good, I am a happy repeat customer. read more

I am sold on the smoothies! I haven't tried the sandwiches but the smoothies are delicious and nicely balanced with a selection of various fruits, veggies, and options for additional things like protein or chia seeds. I would definitely get more smoothies from here, and I am looking forward to coming back to try their sandwiches, too. read more

I really love tropical smoothie, but not this location. The store is pretty small and the service is not that great. There's a very young crew that works here and my first time visiting I was questioning in my head why the girl making our smoothies is wearing short shorts. Hmm...? But I do like tropical smoothies food and smoothies compared to other chain smoothies near by. Too bad Jamba Juice has been gone forever :( read more

I was doing errands and needed a pick me up. The smoothie was good mixed berry added protein. Very nice.

Been coming here for years, I really like this place overall. I've had various things on the menu, most of the time they are to expectation. I do think of this as a fast food to go place though, and sometimes it is not fast at all. It can get very busy, esp. at lunch. If you have to wait 15-20 minutes to get just a smoothie it's way too a long wait. You can order ahead though, online or via an app. Some smoothies can be flavored very inconsistently depending on who makes it and how heavy handed they are with certain ingredients. Food products are decent and mostly consistent. I'm a fan... read more

The smoothies here were great when I went there. I ordered the Blimey limey which was surprisingly delicious considering that I was addicted to Jamba Juice and they are the standards to which I hold all smoothie chains. I also ordered the Baja chicken flatbread sandwich, It was really good but not as flavorful as you would expect from something with the word chipotle in the title and was rather small for a $4 sandwich. But for a health themed establishment they are probably trying to save me from myself. overall, I will probably bike here again. read more

I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe! However, this morning at 9:30 AM, I ordered 2 Cali Chicken Wraps. Everything was going well until the 5'11"-6' tall African American kid that was making my chicken wraps decided to play on his phone while my wraps were warming up in the oven. What good does it do to have gloves on if you're going to play on your dirty phone in front of the customers while prepping the food? It was gross to witness! Someone needs to look into this as this is the second review that talks about the same ordeal! I went home and microwaved my wrap to make sure I didn't get any of those phone germs in my mouth/stomach. It ruined the wrap, but what could I have done? Scolded the kid at the store? I'm not one to cause a scene. This needs to Change! read more

They helped the woman in front of me but then never came back to the register. I waited patiently as there was a beehive of activity, but not so much as eye contact or a welcome. I kept waiting and finally turned to a guy in a chair, shrugged and walked out. Seemed like a young inexperienced crew. Is customer service truly dead?!! --At this location it is! UPDATE: It's been 1yr since my above review, and I decided to give them one more try. Walked in and was served immediately. The drink I ordered was very tasty. I'm adding 3 more stars because of this. Everyone deserves a second chance ! UPDATE: It's been yet another year, and Im now a regular here. I love how I can use the app to order my drink and skip the line when I come in to pick it up. Service has been consistent, fast and friendly. Not sure who they got rid of, but they've done a 360. Updating my review to give them a full 5 stars. Highly impressed with their turn around! read more

I love this location they're opening up a new were one closer to me hopefully the service and the food is just as good I'll keep coming back

Peanut Paradise with Whey Protein & added Flaxseed is the perfect meal replacement. Wish there were more locations &/or a drive thru :)

I love Tropical Smoothie but this place is the worst! I have been there many times and have to keep going, only good place close to my job. Customer service is the worst!!! They don't care and they are rude! They have royally messed up my order twice! There seems to be only 2 employees there that are nice and actually care. Phone etiquette is horrible, once they answered the phone by just saying hello, I had to ask if I was calling Tropical Smoothie (same guy looks like he's high all the time and says inappropriate comments); they ask "is that all" after every item you order and don't even bother to say goodbye just "it will be ready in 10 to 15 min" CLICK! read more

I love this place. I love the smoothies, but it's slowly going downhill. The flavors changed and some of my favorite were discontinued. The smoothies are the only reason this is 4 stars. I would have given it 2 stars if I weighed in CUSTOMER SERVICE. There's one dude who looks like his life is about to end there. He doesn't say anything, he doesn't smile, he's just miserable and stares at you. Get better employees or train them a little customer service. Hate coming here and seeing his face. read more

Good price for the food and drink full of flavor thank you for fast and friendly service.

This was my first time here and the smoothie was very very good. I did notice that they had food as well but I had already eaten so I only came for a smoothie. There weren't as many choices as smoothie king but they seemed to have most of them covered. The staff were rather short and rude though like it was an inconvenience that customers had walked in. read more

Don't go here if you can help it. The wraps they serve are the smallest wraps I've ever purchased. Definitely not worth 6.99.

Stopped in today. Horrible service. Super unprofessional. Completely rude and ridiculous. Downloaded Yelp just to write this review. Skip this location if possible.... The cashier was more entertained with everything else and acting like a fool than she was customer service. read more
