I checked in on the app the day before and picked the room. We parked in the garage, went to the lobby, and got our room keys. As we went to the room, there was a sign on the door indicating the room was occupied. I was surprised and ended up going back to the lobby to see what happened. It turns out that the app was glitchy and we were put in a different room number. The lady behind the counter made adjustments and we were able to stay on the same floor as what I originally picked, but in a different room. The room had a king bed, a fridge, microwave, a TV, drawers, and a bathroom with a shower. It was very clean. We got two drink vouchers to redeem at the lobby/pool bar, which was a plus, to enjoy while we were at the pool. The hotel has a fitness center as well. The continental breakfast provided a selection of coffee and juices for the beverages. The food items consisted of a waffle bar, different types of pastries, and breakfast foods to choose from. They offered a little more than some of the other locations I have been at.

The check in process was very smooth and the staff were very accommodating. Only complaint would be the construction, it was happening on the side of the building, which was pretty loud by the pool area. The massage was great, it was a bit weird that we had to walk in our robes to the other building and then taken to the massage rooms. However the massage was great, they had complimentary teas and snacks. The check out process went smoothly as well and they were able to hold our luggage for a while we did some shopping due to a delay in our flight.

The property is beautiful, and the service is exactly what you would expect from a Four Seasons. One of the highlights was definitely the pool area. They have a separate section for kids, which was perfect for my daughter. She absolutely loved it and had an amazing time! It's nice to find a luxury hotel where adults can relax while the little ones enjoy themselves too. We also had dinner at one of the restaurants on the property. I can't remember the name, but I ordered the steak, and it was excellent! Great food and a beautiful setting. Between the atmosphere, the pool, the dining, and the overall hospitality, everything was fantastic. The location in Brickell is another huge plus. Whether you're visiting as a couple or bringing the family, this place is a winner. Five stars without hesitation!

It's very unfriendly and unaccommodating and illogical at these prices. Aside from that, pool is gorgeous, lobby bar fantastic with great lounge music at night and Nuna very good. It's a beautiful hotel if life finds you in the Brickell area. But for those traveling with your pets, go elsewhere. The Betsy is a very pet friendly hotel, for one. Ordered the salmon from the pet menu. It's more like a human serving, which is fine, with salmon, rice, asparagus, lettuce greens and some sort of sauce, like aoli. $20 was a fair price for it.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night prior to a cruise. We used credit-card points to pay for the room. Our room had a balcony, king-sized bed, television, desk and chair, sofa, closets, large walk-in shower, wi-fi, and views of the bay. The room was comfortable and clean, but we could sometimes hear our neighbor's loud music. I did notice that the floor boards had gaps and that some wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Building amenities included a business center, meeting rooms, swimming pool, fitness center, a restaurant, etcetera. This hotel has a restaurant called Caña, and we ate one meal there. I will review it separately under its Yelp listing, but it was decent.

I would strongly caution anyone staying here, especially if you care about your vehicle.

Really easy beach access and access to the cobblestone walking area at the back of the hotel where you can ride a bike or walk. If you are an early bird, definitely recommend getting up early and utilizing the complimentary bike rentals. I believe you get 2 free hours which is more than enough time for an early morning ride. We rode our bikes to Starbucks, drank our coffee and then rode back. Again, try leaving early because the area gets really busy with walkers, runners, bikers and also people on rollerblades. One other thing to note is that we visited around July 4th. To view the multiple firework shows, grab a chair and walk along the beach. The pool area had great entertainment and games including bean bags and ping pong. The pool itself was not the largest pool but we were able to find a place to lounge each time. The pool was also heated which typically I would say was a plus but in July, it was a bit much at times. Great staff, very friendly and always smiling. Let's talk about the rooms. The rooms were above average in terms of design and cleanliness. The bathroom was an interesting one. Small. Too small. Made it hard to enjoy the shower or find places to put your stuff. The weird thing is that there were two closets. A large one specifically on the opposite wall of the bathroom. Why did they not use that space instead to make the bathroom bigger? No clue. As always be careful if you remove stuff from the fridges since you will get charged on your room bill. I have stayed at hotels such as Loews and Fontainebleau and this one is definitely a step below those hotels. Would I stay there again? Absolutely.

The evenings were great as we were able to sit out on the balcony and relax, while at the same time being in the lobby or hitting the restaurant was always great. We took advantage of the on-site yoga classes and the beach every day while we were there. The beach area was nice, in the servers supporting the beach I felt did their best to accommodate all of the guests outside. If you're a frequent AMEX user, I would definitely recommend going through your AMEX as it really did just make a difference. The grounds were well kept the pool was clean. The staff was friendly and most importantly, we had an overall great experience. There are parking garages close by, but plan ahead -- you'll be in for a rough time if you have a lot of luggage to carry. I was able to find parking in advance on one of the apps. The check-in experience is a bit odd, as its self-directed: just you and an iPad (although an employee was nearby and helpful to those who needed it). The identity verification took a hot minute, but it was seamless otherwise. And it gave me my choice of room views and late check-out through my Marriott status (nice not to have to debate with an agent for that!). The rooms are TINY. If you've been on a cruise ship, you'll have a similar feeling in a room here. The bathroom is a sort of wet bath setup, with the toilet and shower in the same little enclosure. The toilet is cruise ship size, but the shower is a little more generous. The room is the width of the king bed and no wider, but the storage options are creative, including a little alcove at the room entrance, some built-in storage on the sink vanity, and several drawers under the bed. Everything in the room is controlled by an older iPad -- the lights, the climate, the blinds, the TV, etc. it was a little slow, and I didn't see an option to actually choose a specific temperature for the room (just warmer or cooler), but it worked. The highlights: the bed was, for me, incredibly comfortable. I like a firm bed, and this definitely was. But I slept really well. And part of that was the fun "mood lighting" options you could set which coordinated color room lighting and visualizations on the TV. You can make the room DARK with the blinds closed, but I thought the view was gorgeous and not disruptively bright at night. I also liked the rooftop pool -- very small, but comfortable and again with great views. I wouldn't stay here with anyone I wasn't comfortable enough with to leave little to the imagination when it comes to a bathroom, but I'd absolutely come back for a solo or couples' getaway.
