After working out early in the AM wanted to continue my health vibe for the day and decided to finally give this place a try. I had this placed bookmarked for a minute and on a nice day I said why not. Upon entering the business first thing I notice is that it is really really clean which was a great first impression. They sell an array of things from smoothies to small meals etc.. I told the woman I wanted to get creative and she told me the options I had to create my smoothie. My review is solely based on my smoothie so I cannot confirm the quality of the food but it looked good from what i could see. My creation of Pineapple, Strawberry, Orange juice, Almond milk came out perfect. I really really really enjoyed my drink !!! It hit the spot on a nice day. Price was $6.50 which was a tad high for the size of the smoothie. I would definitely come back here to try other things on the menu. She also told me that they will start selling Tres Leches Cake so consider me sold lol

Steak patacon, maduros, and papaya smoothie. Delicious!

A few of us from work decided to give this place a try for lunch. When I placed the take out order, they said it would be ready in 15 minutes; however, it took about 35. It was a large order so I'm not surprised but the staff should be more aware. We ordered 4 patacones, 3 smoothies, and 2 orders of maduros. The prices are great! The bill came to $40 for everything. Patacon: I had the steak patacon w/ bacon (which was practically non-existent. At first I couldn't find it on my sandwich). It came with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and ketchup between two smashed plantains. The sandwich was delicious, but I think it needed a kick to it. I'd definitely get it again, but I'll add hot sauce next time. Smoothie & Side: I had the papaya smoothie which was great and is one of the better smoothies I've had. The maduros were very good. The staff was very friendly, but they should be aware wait times will be longer if it's a large order. It deserves a 4 star rating on the food alone. I'll change the rating if they get a little better predicting the wait times. With that said, I'll be back.

Love the smoothies....fresh fruit.... empanadas were fresh and tasty

Farmers Produce (459 E. Railway Avenue, Paterson, NJ) is my go-to store for such basic staples as…read more milk, butter, juice, tomatoes, onions, scallions, parsley, and lettuce. Generally speaking, no one in the area can beat their prices on those items. A half-gallon of Lactaid milk will cost me just $2.99 at this store. If I go to any other store in the area, I'll pay a dollar or two more for that same half-gallon. The other day I picked up a large, 11-ounce package of organic baby arugula for just $1.99. And when I got to the check-out counter, the gal, Paola (seen in one of the photos I'll post), noticed that some of the arugula at the bottom of the package appeared to be damp or wilted; she said, "Let me get you a better pack," and went in the back and got me a better one. I can't imagine a checker at a big chain supermarket doing anything like that. But it's a small store, they know their customers, and they treat them with care. When I got home one recent hot summer day and found that the half-gallon of milk I'd bought from the store was beginning to turn bad, I took it back to the store and asked if I could get a replacement. They were happy to accommodate me, even though I did not have a receipt. I value that kind of service. And on any given day, there are some real bargains to be found--inside the store or out in front of it. They always have bags of fruits and veggies that--because they're slightly imperfect or a day or two old--are marked down to just one dollar. I'll buy a dollar bag of apples and they're fine. It is a small store. They certainly don't have everything. And not everything is a bargain. But you can always find some real bargains among the fruits and veggies they sell here. Lines at the check-out counter or short, and the workers are helpful and friendly.

Ah, childhood memories. Decades ago, we would come down this way for various home or backyard…read moregoods. I stopped in to see if there was some nice grocery to pick up or some other memento. Short answer: There was not. The produce may be fresh and local, but you can find that in other stores or stands for well less than the prices here. (Example: $5/lb for tomatoes.) There were only two relatively short outdoor rows of fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and then a fairly cramped interior space with some more harvests (pumpkins, being fall), one refrigerator with cider, one freezer with ice cream, and a few shelves of jam. Very small selection overall, and at best the ice cream qualifies as "not unreasonable" for pricing. I think the only thing Richfield's got going is that it's in a semi-urban location, so you are hard-pressed to find a similar place nearby. But other than the experience of walking around outdoors for a few minutes, I would say just get your fruits and veggies at Whole Foods (or, if you're not local, find a farm closer to you).

If you are not familiar with the brand, this is not like any supermarket you have ever gone to. Similar concept, but they do things very differently than what you might be used to. *******Critical things to know: You need a quarter for the shopping cart, then when you return it, you get it back! BYOB, bring your own bag, or take a cardboard box that is in the aisle. You can buy a bag or freezer bag for a fee. Most products are self labeled / generic. So if you are looking for Campbells soup, or Doritos etc., this is not your store. This was my local Aldi until one opened up closer to home. Staff is decently friendly. Place is clean enough. As a German, I am used to this store and its offerings. KISS Keep things simple S*****. Germans are masters at efficiency. For a store that size, they hire about 1/3 the staff that other markets would hire and pass that savings on to you. Think of it as a mini big box warehouse store. Everything remains mostly in the shipping box, instead of displayed beautifully on shelves. Employees "stock" shelves in 1/20th the time lol! I love coming here for the Christmas season!!!!!! So many German and other European specialties that are imported. From Lebkuchen to Stollen, all I can say is Lecker! They usually have 1 or 2 checkout counters open, and they could have a 3rd, but the line moves fast enough for the most part. I do also notice, that many items are hit and miss. If you want something, come early and get it otherwise it might not be there in the afternoon. All in all a wonderful store, and as long as you don't mind brand names, this is your store.
