Was in the area and couldn't decide where to grab a late lunch. So happy I remembered Tropical Burger!! Same quick service, slammin' hot delicious food, same low key come as your are vibe. I think I might move this place.

Sugar Daddy

The best burger ever. I Never eat pineapple on anything but the Sugar Daddy burger is to die for!!! With the ranch and garlic sauce!!!

TB Fries

Tropical Burger was really a tropical disappointment. Got the tiger burger and Cheese fries and the presentation was on point, however it did not taste as good as it looked. The burger had little to no flavor and the patties were slightly overcooked. The fries were overcooked and the cheese sauce was sweet, watery, and frankly not even cheesy. $42 is way too much for this type of cooking. Basically paid for the looks. Came in expecting a new go to burger spot and came out sad.

BEST burgers ever!! I literally dream of going back to this place! This is a must if you're in the area. We live out of state and come to eat here every time we visit our family.

After

Very surprised. Great place to grab a bite. Their burgers are top--get the Street burger. You won't be disappointed.

Breakfast burger and tater tots

Had the breakfast burger and it was amazing. The fries were perfectly crispy! Service was fast and friendly. The outdoor patio was clean and was relaxing to eat my meal.

Burger & onion rings.

Hubby brought home a burger with onion rings. The onion rings were large & crispy! The burger tasted good, until reaching the middle, where it was raw. However, the dog was thrilled to eat the rest, so it wasn't too bad.

Reading all the reviews on this place has led me to wanting to try this for a while myself and tonight I finally got that chance and I must say that they did not disappoint Make sure you get plenty of napkins, take your time and savor every bite. Some things are not to be rushed and this is a meal that you'll want to sit down and enjoy it's a older building but they do a good job on its cleanliness and it has that small business atmosphere.

Delicious and fresh food. For lower cal lunches, I have them serve the bowl on shredded lettuce rather than on rice.

For a two top we had to wait an hour to get an appetizer that came out cold, then another 45 minutes to have the main course sent out. It came out cold and they forgot one of the two dishes entirely. We were then told the order for the second person would be out shortly and waited another 20 minutes, after which we asked for the check and left. The wait staff was terrible, the bar tender was on her phone and not checking on people at the bar or taking on the task of pouring a beer, for which I had to wait 25 minutes after ordering while she was on her phone. When the bartender was not on her phone she was making an attempt at flirting with another worker in the building. Overall, I would highly recommend going anywhere else nearby. The only positive aspect here would be the environment. It was decent and clean. So I would say if you are interested in going here you should only go for the $2.75 beers during happy hour. Cheers, Steddy's. I will never go back for this overpriced miserable food.

Just saying. Now back to the food I had ordered the pasta salad. I was thinking it was gonna be more of an oil base or basil pesto type not sure, but it might've been more of a mayonnaise base. Philly was good. I thought the steak had some great seasoning and I enjoyed it. Definitely recommend ordering the small anything bigger than that you are busting a gut or taking a lot home. Onion ring were freash dipped which is a good thing. Size for the steak I really did enjoy the Philly steak and I think you will too great seasoning wonderfully put together beautiful presentation. So when you're thirsty for a grade local craft beer and you find out, the brewery is closed because it's a Monday. Come on over and enjoy some good food.

We came from Clemson to attend a play in Pelzer and decided to have lunch here first. It is not a destination restaurant. The menu is very chicken heavy. Started with 8 smoked wings as an appetizer, bbq sauced with a side of hot sauce. Received 4 bbq wings and 4 hot wings. Now the wings were smoked nice and very good. Both ordered half-and-half tea. I received unsweetened. They had meatloaf as a Sunday special. I got it, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread, and a side salad. The side salad was really nice and worth ordering. The cornbread was jalapeño cornbread, but not described that way on the menu. The mashed potatoes and gravy should not be ordered. Period. They were both reconstituted, fake and a tiny portion. The meatloaf was a good size portion, but tasted like a seasoned hamburger. Thankfully the bbq sauce on the table saved it. Her chicken salad sandwich was good and a nice size portion, but again it was different than described on the menu. She said it tasted like smoked chicken. The banana pudding was very unremarkable but looked nice. We might give it another try if we're in the area and hungry, but it's not in the "let's remember this place" list.

I'm so glad we found this little gem while searching for a great burger in downtown Greenville!…read more This small burger joint, tucked just off the main street, completely exceeded our expectations. Everything is made from scratch; from the fresh burger patties and soft, homemade buns to the delicious pralines they hand out as a sweet palate cleanser at the end of your meal. You can absolutely taste the difference. The restaurant is small with limited seating (first come, first served), with seating along the windows and down the side, and a couple of outdoor tables. You order at the counter, grab your number, and then find a seat. Even though it's a casual, fast-service restaurant, the hospitality was anything but ordinary. We were greeted the moment we walked in by the sweetest older gentleman whose genuine Southern hospitality made us feel so welcome. He even stopped by to chat with us during our meal, making the whole experience feel warm and personal. The food was outstanding! My burger was cooked perfectly....juicy, flavorful, and served on one of the best hamburger buns I've ever had. It was incredibly soft but somehow never got soggy or fell apart, even with all the cheese and sauce. They offer about 10 different flavor options for burgers. They even offer grilled chicken sandwiches and Open face burgers. I ordered the Sawyer Burger ($13.95), topped with chili garlic glazed pork belly, Asian slaw, and crispy onion straws. It was absolutely delicious and well worth the price considering the quality and generous portion. The fries deserve their own review! So many burger places treat fries as an afterthought, but not here. The portions are huge and perfectly seasoned. I chose the Buffalo Blue Cheese fries, and they were packed with flavor. I wish I'd had room to try the Parmesan fries, which sounded like a customer favorite. Even the tiny bathroom was charming, covered in funny and quirky signs that made me smile. If I lived in Greenville, I'd definitely become a regular. Amazing food, generous portions, homemade quality, friendly service, and true Southern hospitality. I can't recommend this place enough!
