There's a Dunkin Donuts next door so I just went to grab some coffee/breakfast and came back, hung out in the waiting area and soon enough, everything was done. Tropic window tinting is the place to go, hands down. Not only do I know by personal experience, but my experience is backed by and covers 15 years. Allow me to explain. I am currently in the market to get my windows tinted and yes, it has been quite some time since i've had to seek out the need. Tropic has been the name that sticks to my mind since I was in high school and Tropic has always been a name to go to. I think in my day, it was one of two places among the masses that claim to tint windows that you were right to go to, but Tropic definitely had a larger fan base. Sure, people can tint windows anywhere and by themselves, but year after year I would comment on how well my windows aged and the quality of the material and the job itself was the proof in getting it done right. I read some of the reviews here on pricing...it makes me laugh because you know what?...the price really hasn't changed much from what I can see. I used to live a bit closer to them and although my ride is extended by 30 or 40 minutes, it doesn't stop me from saying "Just go to Tropic"....and trust me, I learned the hard way about pricing and quality (once again, I had moved out of the area). In any event, coming up through high school it was the place to go. Seeing people with tints and commenting on how nice their windows looked, it turned out they too went to Tropic. Meeting folks a few towns over and noticing the tint on their rides, sure enough...Tropic. From my neighbors to neighbors friends...Tropic. They did the two windows of my jeep in 1998 and then in 2001 when it came time to tint the windows of my brand new car, I was certain to drop it off at Tropic again. "2001" you say? Yes...and why am I referencing 2001, because I sold that car as a single owner on 6/2016 with the very same tints. That car still exists today with the same tint on the rear three windows. I am going to try and add pictures here that cover a nice transition. I may not have pictures of the day I picked the car up from Tropic, but i'll take you down memory lane starting in 2004. Look at the picture captioned with 2004...that was the tint after 3 years of sun exposure. Notice the color, the transition from window to window, a complete match. Shortly after that time, I was getting into a lot of trouble for tinted windows...where I had to give in and tear the front windows down for lack of passing inspection, tickets, and finding those garages that would "help" me out. It was right around this time where I selected a nearby place to tint my doors again (mistake). Take a look at the 2009 captioned image. It was around this time I had the front windows redone locally. Notice the difference in color on the door, versus the rear window that is now 8 years old at this time. 2011, 2 years from the original job on the front doors...notice the infamous blueish/purple hue on the front window; but 10 years later and the rear remains black. Last but not least, 2015, this is now 14 years of sun exposure, 6 years on the doors and 14 on the job from Tropic. Notice how significantly lighter the doors are with a blueish/purple hue, and the back windows remained black/smoke in nature. While my rear windows did eventually lighten up, the product AGED VERY WELL. It aged and held its structure and composer of tinted/smoked glass, while the front windows and off the shelf brands usually exhibit the blue-ing/purple. With that said, I followed those windows enough to say many times, "that was a good product". I am not sure how much more I can say. I haven't even booked set up an appointment yet and bumped into these review today and said, "Let me contribute". I look forward to booking my appointment very soon with these guys. read more

I live closer to another recommended shop but, I was so pleased with the service I will be scheduling another appointment to have my tint redone. See you soon guys. I had a later appointment but Frank let me come earlier which was a blessing so I didn't hit traffic on the way home. I will be bringing any future cars of mine here without a doubt.
