My experience with Rob, Clay, and Justin was remarkable. They went WAY out of their way to make sure I was informed and always made time to answer my questions throughout my process purchasing a Honda pioneer. They are extremely knowledgeable about their products and are willing to make whatever your circumstances work to your benefit. I would highly recommend Trojan Power sports for questions, parts, and all your powersports needs!

Bought a motorcycle today from some of the nicest people I've ever met! Super helpful and answered all of my "newbie questions" and weren't bothered by them at all. These guys gave me a great price on a used bike and I'm excited to buy a new bike from them in the future!

Amazing group of workers! My boyfriend and I bought two bikes from them and they made it a smooth process! Answered any questions about the bikes we had and treated us like family! Will definitely be back for my next bike!

    Our new Honda, thanks Trojan!

No business is perfect, but Monroe Motorsports has been serving riders since 1995 and has grown from a small warehouse into one of the largest powersports dealerships in the region. In my experience, the staff has always been willing to answer questions, help find the right things, and work hard to make things right when issues come up. The selection is incredible, with hundreds of motorcycles and vehicles available, which is something you don't find at average dealerships. It's easy to find negative reviews online because unhappy customers are often the most motivated to post. Even discussions online about dealerships point out that review sites tend to attract complaints more than routine positive experiences. If you're shopping for a bike, ATV, sxs, or other powersports vehicle, I'd recommend stopping by Monroe Motorsports and seeing the inventory and staff for yourself before judging based solely on online reviews.

I was nervous coming in for a tire change after the nightmarish reviews I had read about this…read moreplace, but gotta say I was pleased enough. It was a little inconvenient that they didn't do appointments and they needed a full day to get a tire change done, but that's mostly a limitation of their number of people working the service department, as I understand, so I don't hold it to them. They were transparent throughout the process and provided some guidance on other issues I've been having with the bike, even if they couldn't work on it because of it's age. Pricing is what it will be. Most shops charge between $90 to $110 an hour in my experience. They land somewhere in there as well. But they do it well, and I'm lead to believe that they would have charged less if I had taken the wheels off myself ahead of time (I brought the whole bike in). All in all, I had a pretty good experience here. Again, just got my tires changed, so I can't speak to anything much beyond that though. I should also note that I bought my own tires through a separate company, not through Free Ride. Some places will say they can't mount tires they haven't purchased for insurance reasons, not the case here. Cheers.

In addition to that every time I have been in there I have been ignored by their staff. I must look too young/poor to buy from them so they do not address me. I understand that service work can take time, and I have no issue with reasonable timelines or unexpected delays. However, communication is a critical part of any customer service experience, and that was where this experience fell short. After dropping off my motorcycle, I expected a basic update regarding the status of the work. Instead, I found myself having to call multiple times to check on the progress. On several occasions, it seemed as though staff were too busy to provide updates or follow through on promised callbacks. While I eventually received information regarding my motorcycle, the lack of proactive communication made the process unnecessarily frustrating. The facility itself is impressive, clean, and representative of the Ducati brand. Unfortunately, the customer service experience did not reflect the same level of professionalism. A simple courtesy phone call or email update can make a significant difference in maintaining customer confidence and satisfaction. In any service oriented business, customers should not have to repeatedly reach out for basic status updates. Improved communication and follow up procedures would go a long way toward enhancing the overall customer experience. I hope Ducati Detroit takes this feedback constructively, as the dealership has the potential to provide a service experience that matches the quality and reputation of the motorcycles it sells and supports.

Based on numerous visits over 20 years…read more Plus (+) Full dealership with road and off road bikes and ATV's, parts and service. They have a number of brands such as Honda and Kawasaki, and also some pre owned bikes. Local. Easy to get to. Gear is available to try on. Unlike the internet where you may have to return. Minus (-) A dull experience. Not unfriendly but not that friendly either. The motorcycle dealer experience should be a joy to go to, ideally with people that seem like they want to be there due to the love of motorcycling. I have seldom felt this vibe there. A dull shopping environment. A drabby look. Well kept and clean, but drab. Prices for parts and gear are OK, but online is often cheaper. This is like most dealers Fee to use Credit Card! A Deeper Look: I spent allot of time at dealers when I was younger when I raced mx and loved spending time there. It was a place in the. Cleveland area. It was a regular thing to get parts and supplies, long before the internet. There were some mail order places that were a bit cheaper, but the advice and good service received at the parts counter and even service dept was worth it, both to mention the welcoming family like environment. I bought all my bikes from there. Years later I moved to the Toledo area and Honda East is the major dealer in the area. The internet made price shopping easy and online prices for gear, parts, lubes/cleaners and even motorcycles are readily available. You get allot of items online cheaper. But I like to give my business to smaller places in an effort to keep local dealerships around. Its also convenient and nice to see and touch things before I buy them. I will normally not see the item I want and then buy on the internet for any items at stores, bicycle or motorcycle dealerships or anything else. Not fair to the dealer. But I think its reasonable to expect service including knowledge and friendliness in exchange. Unfortunately Honda East has been so so at best. Not rude, but never that friendly. Sometimes knowledgeable, sometimes not (and thats OK, but would appreciate a "let me find out, I will get back to you".). Generally sales in bikes and parts has always been a rather dull experience. On top of that, new owners took over and add a 3% charge for using credit cards. I found this out, paid cash and made the decision to buy at another dealer or online from here out unless I need something urgently. My recent bike was bought at another dealer about 30 minutes away and the experience was very positive. Very helpful and knowledgeable for sales and parts......but friendly and family like as well. I think they might even invite you to ride with them type of vibe. I hope the best for Honda East, but there are better choices, you just have to drive a bit.
