The technician was very professional and thorough in cleaning the outside unit and inspected everything taking a lot of photos to show us. It really gave us a complete analysis of our current system. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything but offered a consultation to show us upgrade options. We have been wanting to get a new system for years and met with Pablo the owner of the company. He came up with the best solution for our house with an excellent price, which we accepted. They replaced the complete heat and air conditioning system, all of the ducts in the attic, and installed a whole house fan and an attic fan. The amazing thing is how fast they work. We met with Pablo on Monday and they started the installation the next day! The job was done in a couple of days and the new system is very quiet compared to the old one. An independent certification company came and tested the system and told us it passed with flying colors and met the air flow/pressure test standards required on new homes built in CA even though this is an old house. The testing technician was even excited about the results! All of the employees including the owner used to work for the "big guys" and thought they could do better for their customers. They treat you like family and they all are very experienced technicians. They are also are an approved SMUD installer allowing them to offer rebate programs.

Green Home was very fair with their pricing and willing to work with you! I found out about this company from a door to door salesman. He was very polite and professional snd let me know about their free estimates. Within the week I was able to make an appointment to go over estimates and went over anything that we would need to be fixed. They were INCREDIBLY knowledgeable! I had this same sit down with Bell Bros and I learned a lot more with GH. We needed new ducts and they were great at explaining and painting a picture for me of how the system works as a whole. Really easy to understand. We were able to set up an appointment quickly and they were able to start work within a few days. Let me tell you....our ducts were embarrassing. We had purchased the house about a year and a half prior and these might have been original ducts from the 50s or 60s!! Gross!! Not one time did they complain about the job. They finished the job quickly and really took their time cleaning up. We got this done in July and it is now October. No problems whatsoever! This is my new hvac company! Give them a call! They are not pushy and happy to help. Thanks Green Home Heating and Air!

Bub's responded right away and had our new A/C installed on Monday as soon as everything reopened after the holiday. They were fast, professional, and gave us an incredibly fair price. They were honest, fair, and easy to work with. We'll definitely be using them for any of our future HVAC needs, and we highly recommend them!

Highly recommended!! Don is professional, reasonably priced and does solid work…read more I first met Don Cassel about 3 years ago. My AC stopped blowing cold air--middle of summer, of course--so I called around to get someone to take a look. I knew my HVAC was very old (didn't know how old), so I was crossing my fingers I didn't need a full replacement. (The home was built in 1971, and I purchased in 2013.) Don was readily available and squeezed me in as the last stop on his way home (we both live in Fair Oaks). Luckily, Don was able to get me back up and running with a new capacitor for, I think, under $300--a relatively painless price. That was a huge relief, but Don let me know the system was about 16 years old. I figured I had a couple years or so before needing a full replacement. This summer--now 2020--the dreaded day came, and the AC was petering out. I didn't hesitate to call Don for help, and he was available to come out the next day. In the meantime, it seemed like the cooling came back--though maybe my imagination. When I called Don to cancel our appointment, he took some time over the phone to have me check a few things and walk through possible issues. In other words, even though he wasn't going to get any immediate business, he took the extra time to help me anyway. Sure enough, the AC completely died the next day, and I definitely needed Don to come out. No surprise, it was time to replace the entire 19-year-old HVAC. Don put the order in (for American Standard) on that Saturday and scheduled to do the whole job on Monday. (This was right in the middle of a 100+ heat wave, so the quick turnaround was much appreciated.) Don and his crew arrived around 7:30AM Monday, as promised, and everything was done by 5PM--even though he said the job may run into Tuesday. They left the house spotless, like they were never there. After testing and showing me how everything worked, he still came back for a followup a couple days later. The system runs great, and the house feels like a walk-in refrigerator when the AC is blowing. Don is punctual and will always call ahead as he's on his way and if he doesn't answer his phone, he calls back promptly. I was always informed of what was happening each step of the way. There were no hidden costs--i.e., his price is the price--even when Don came back to replace an old drain pipe, which he let me know might be the case. After working with him over time, I didn't bother contacting anyone else. If you have any HVAC needs, definitely give Don a call!

PG& E took care of a gas leak behind my stove, and checked the furnace to make sure all was in working condition because we just purchased the house. I called the home warranty through Fidelity- (horrible insurance company) they take care of absolutely nothing. So they take my 100 dollar service fee, send out an 18 year old, from what I see visually, who comes in to read the notes left behind from PG&E on Hazard report. Ten minutes later I come back to check in on the young man and he looks so puzzled, the look on the poor guy's face, he tells me he doesn't know what's wrong with the furnace and what the codes or terms indicate on the hazard report- he didn't understand the terminology and had been trying to contact PG&E to help explain. I called the dispatcher for this company, explained all- and she apologized and told me she'd send a senior rep.. well within 5 minutes of hanging up the phone, I get a call from Fidelity- Consolidated called them and told them it was not repairable?? Or who knows what to get out of it and my claim was denied. This is a 2023 furnace- newer. On the hazard notes it states that there communication gaps.. if you look up the term it means improper sealing which is what PG&E tech explained. The furnaces needed to be sealed properly and needed a little more clearance above vent..and this tech couldn't figure it out.. I felt bad for this kid but upset w this company for calling it in as non repairable because he didn't know what to do. Quick pay out for them. Overall I had a great experience with Always Affordable Plumbing. I mainly wanted someone who could get the job done with a fair and reasonable price. Based on their NAME and past reviews, I took a bet on these guys. I say I took a bet, because they still charge $60 for a consultation. If you go with them after the consultation, they won't charge you for it. But if you go w another business after their consultation, they'll charge you. I get why-- it cost time and gas for someone to come over and diagnose a problem. But if you have to pay $60 for someone to even look at the problem...you're probably going to have to go with them or you're out another $60. There's really no shopping around, so I have to make sure these guys weren't going to charge me an arm and a leg. I found another business that quoted me $225, I would've gone w them but they responded after I already had these guys at the house. Good to know I was within a similar quoted price range though. I received an email from them on May 3rd saying that my upcoming auto payment for the service that I had canceled was coming up and that it had gone from $199.00 a year to $249.00. I called to make sure that it had been canceled. Nothing happened. I responded to the email. It was kicked back to me. I emailed at the email in the invoice...three times and no reply. I called twice today. The lady that answered transferred me to the woman in charge of that. It rang a couple of times and hung up on me. I can't tell you if their service is any good. I hired them to fix something, and they didn't fix it. We thought that they did, but they didn't. Now I'm fed up.
