    Glimpse into the hectic kitchen

Best meal in Paris so far. Wonderful noodle shop. Worth the wait. I had the minced pork but beef and vegetarian dishes looked great. Attentive service. Piping hot. Trendy but comfort. Bravo.

There is definitely a hyphe to this place. Overall, cool ambience, decent service for Paris, and good smell. The food wasn't my favorite actually. Maybe I ordered wrong, but I just found it to be very meat heavy. Like crazy meat heavy! I think for others they prob really enjoy it, but the dish I ordered was again too meat heavy. Wowwwww the spice was definitely there, which made me happy. I visit family regularly to visit in-laws in France & miss my spice. Just note that there spice levels are more on par w US Asian restaurants plus some. Service isn't bad, but super speedy compared to other places in France. Hate feeling rushed. The line was wiiiiiild so give yourself time to get through the line. Not saying don't go, just know what kind of food you want for the day! Good one à cold cold day.

I keep coming back for more! I had been craving spicy Chinese noodles after having been in Paris for over a month, and to my surprise, this restaurant had authentic DanDan noodles - my favorite! I have already been twice - once on a Wednesday night at around 7:20pm (15 minute wait) and on a Friday afternoon at around 1:15pm (no wait). My bf and I ordered the dumplings (Ravioli à la sauce sichuanaise for €5.20) to share and each ordered the DanDan Noodles (Nouilles DanDan avec soupe for €10.40). You can adjust the spice level from levels 1 to 5. My friend recommended the level 2 for a slight kick that's not unbearably spicy - it was perfect for my taste! The restaurant is very small, which explains why there always seems to be a line. But if you go off-peak hours, you might be lucky enough not to have to stand on line. Even if you do, I'd say it's absolutely worth the wait.

Trios fois plus de piment is a great noodle spot, especially if you're looking for something spicy! I recommend the Dan Dan and the beef noodle soup and you HAVE to get the raviolis (they were the best part). The place is small but comforting, the staff is very nice and they will even pack up your food for take away if you don't finish! I enjoy fairly spicy food, and the level 2 was perfect. Highly recommend this spot !!

Yum! We decided to try this restaurant on a whim after visiting the Louvre. After all the walking in the museum, I was ready for some spicy noodles! The menu was in French and Chinese. The restaurant is tiny, but they make good use of the space squeezing people here and there. Very modern, industrial decor. Servers were super friendly, but didn't speak English all that well. We had an easier time communicating in Mandarin. We ordered the Ravioli à la sauce sichuanaise (spicy dumplings) appetizer. Delicious dumplings covered in peanuts and hot oil. No worries though, it's not as spicy as it looks. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles. Again more delicious peanut and hot oil toppings with ground pork and green onions. With all of those spices, can things even taste bad?? A bit on the sour side, but it filled my spicy noodle craving perfectly on the cold rainy day.

Our group actually stumbled across this place on a whim. We were specifically in the area to dine elsewhere but upon arrival we found out that we wouldn't be able to eat there that night due to the wait. As we walked by, there was a menu out front that we took a look at and everything sounded right up our alley! Trois Fois Plus de Piment wasn't open for dinner yet so we waited around 15 minutes out front. Once the restaurant was open for business, it filled up quickly! The restaurant is pretty small with limited seating so it wouldn't be a good spot for a large group. By the time we were done with our meal, there was even a line of people waiting outside to dine at Trois Fois Plus de Piment! The four of us got a few appetizers and each of us ordered a noodle dish for our entree. We tried the dumplings and a beef dish - yum! Be extremely cautious about the spiciness level you order. When it comes to Szechuan food, they do not mess around! If you're in the area looking for some spicy noodles, this is a great place to check out. Be careful though, you might need to wait a while outside if it's a busy night!

I totally regret coming here, but I'm totally to blame. We had spotted this little restaurant in our neighborhood. Everytime I've walked by, it's been packed and outside there's always a long line of locals waiting to get a table. We decided we would try this place on Sunday night since we love Asian food and it looked like the local hot spot. On Sunday evenings it doesn't open until 7 pm. We happened to get there at 6:45 pm, so we hopped in the line and we were in the first seating. FYI: It looks itsy bitsy, but there's additional tables upstairs. While waiting for our table, I opened the Yelp app and read some reviews. OH NO! The dreaded Szechuan peppercorns and their total mouth numbing sensation they bring. There's some dishes that mention Szechuan in their titles, so we thought we'd just avoid those since I don't enjoy: - my entire mouth going numb - tingling lips - not being able to taste my food We decided on the Vermicelli noodles and the spicy ravioli soup. The waitress said the vermicelli noodles were crazy spicy and suggested we shouldn't order that dish and this was without us saying a word beside our order. So, then I tried to ask if it was normal spicy (which I love) or if it was the Szechuan peppercorn numbing spice, and I think we were on the same page that it was the peppercorn, so we opted not to get that dish. So we swapped that order to the dry pork noodle dish and stuck with our ravioli soup. We ordered both of our dishes with a spice level of 1 (out of 5) and we LOVE spice. So I was actually a little reluctant because I didn't want our dishes to be bland. Our dishes looked great! Upon first slurp of my soup, my mouth was TOTALLY NUMB! Oh no! I thought these dishes didn't have the peppercorns. dammit. And this was level one! The ravioli dish was a totally numbing experience, but the dry pork noodle dishes wasn't quite as intense. I totally regret coming here! It was like torture. I love food so much, but not food I can't taste because my entire mouth is numb and my lips are quivering. Eating the soup made me just so sad. Heads up: The menu is small and every dish has these peppercorns, so only come here if you're after some numbing mouth feel. Despite my total regret of coming here and the feeling of utter torture as we made our way through our dishes, I still say it's a solid choice. The decor is cute, the prices are affordable and the service speedy, but friendly! Just beware of the peppercorns and know that your mouth will be tingling. If you come here, I suppose this is what you're after. I just don't get it.

Sichuan food is one of my favorite things because it reminds me of my grandma's style of cooking. This place was just a last minute pop in while we were shopping in Marais after seeing a few museums. I am so glad I saw the sign and my interest was piqued when I saw a pile of peppers in the display window. We went inside and ordered the minced pork onion dumplings in a spicy garlic sesame sauce and a bowl of beef noodle soup spicy level 2. Amazing. I was really not expecting much from a Sichuan restaurant in Paris but I was so wrong! The 5 dumplings were cooked to perfection and so soft. The pork and chives/Onions melt in your mouth, and the garlic sauce added the right amount of kick to the dish. The garlic is super strong and lingered on our breath for hours, so fair warning. The beef noodle soup was equally delicious. The broth was spicy where a bit of your tongue was numbed, but in a good way. And the beef was cooked so well they it tore apart when the chopsticks touched them. It was 17€ in total which is not a bad deal at all. If you crave spice and hot soup, I highly recommend coming here.

warning sign that spicy food can cause stomach aches and diarrhea lolll

Excellent Szechuan food, yet to find an alternative here in the US. We got there around 2:30PM, shortly before closing and there was still a line...The staff is efficient though. The girl came out to show people the menu and actually take orders from the first few folks in line, so that by the time you sit down your food comes to you. We also found out that you could order out via Deliveroo, which made life considerably easier and we had it a second time the following day as a late night snack. The staff also had a funny way of describing how spicy the food was...She said she could handle up to level 2 (out of 10), but even that is already "violent." My girlfriend and I got scared by that and just went to level 0.5 and 1. We got the raviolis (dumplings), beef soup, and ground pork noodles...All of which were awesome.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYbk2FmfG5E It was a rainy cold day in Paris and I craved for something hot and what not better than Sze Chuan Spicy Beef Noodle soup. I arrived early before opening and had to come back at 7PM and I did speak to them in Chinese (Mandarin). I wish I had a larger serving size given the price in Euros and for the soup to be hotter in terms of temperature not spice. Noodles very tender and I got spicy level 1 which is easily do-able (not hot at all for me) I recommend this restaurant and friendly staff. Food is delicious and my mouth-waters each time I look at my video. I would eat here again when I am in Paris! Surprisingly there is more reviews on Google than on Yelp for this restaurant for once lol

    Very busy kitchen!

So when I got the spiciest level for the Sichuan boiled fish, I expected to be put on fireeee for 5/5. But no....there was no fire. Just a lot of floating peppers without flavor. All the reviews had me suuuuper hyped about how spicy this spot was so this was probably one of the biggest let downs in my 15 years of eating Sichuanese cuisine. This made me super sad because I was reaaally excited to try it. So if you're a Sichuan spice addict--do not come here because it does NOT hit the spot. Try somewhere else!!!! (Maybe it's hot for French people? But definitely feels like nothing to Asian taste buds). The price is also high for what you can usually get these dishes for. Maybe this is tailored for those who don't know how to tell the difference between real legit Asian food (cheap AND delicious) and Asian-but tailored for non-Asians (fancier vibes, more expensive, meh food). You've been warned!

We ordered a very popular Chinese meat dish 夫妻肺片 abats façon couple marié (posted photo from menu) and got a plate full of diced onions and about a fingers size of meat. When we asked to speak to the chef/owner, he was extremely rude and brusque about it, refusing to even look us in the eye. We received absolutely horrible treatment for simply asking if there had been a mistake. Also as mentioned in other reviews, servings were really small. They're not suited for families, they're more appropriate for 2-3 people. Another huge problem was that flavors were nonexistent. This was especially unexpected as this restaurant proclaims itself to be Szechuan style, which is known for being extremely flavorful and spicy. Luckily there are plenty of other excellent Chinese restaurants in the area! Do yourself a favor and don't risk it with Saveurs de Chengdu.

Besides the presentation, the food also had very nice flavors. I found the amount of peppercorn to be a little overwhelming, but there were many other flavors of the dish and I tried to focus on those instead. I ordered the mapo tofu and the chengdu dumplings. My favorite was the chengdu dumplings! I might go back and just order two servings of that! These dumplings were even better than the ones I had at nord-est ravioli. The sauce is just perfect and there was so much flavor. The mapo tofu had a nice hit to it, but like I said the peppercorn was a bit much, not too spicy but just too much in general. The waitress is super nice and was happy to converse with me in my broken mandarin! I'm a native Cantonese speaker so it was nice to get some mandarin practice in. She also speaks some french, so no worries if you can't speak chinese! The menu is also in English, French, and Chinese so it's easy to work with.
