This was a decent albeit not amazing Chinese meal in Paris. You can make a reservation online, but it was fairly empty and easy to get a table when we arrived. The menu is available in English, and staff spoke enough English to make it easy to order. The interior was clean and contemporary. We tried the pork gyoza which arrived sizzling hot and tasted homemade rather than store bought frozen gyoza. We were impressed with these! I had the beef noodles for my entree. This was a less impressive dish. The dish was overall lukewarm, and the beef was not sautéed and mixed into the noodles but rather seemed to have just been placed on top of the lukewarm noodles. The taste was ok, but this could've been much tastier if mixed together and hotter. Overall this was a fair meal, but I don't think we'll return on our next Parisian adventure. read more

Love this restaurant. We were craving for something similar to what we have at home found this location not too far a walk by mile walk away from our hotel. It's a great location. It's a small restaurant but so many of the other restaurants in Paris definitely a must try the soup. It was delicious as well not just a noodles. Love it here. read more

Sightseeing in Paris and looking for an economical but good place to eat. Noodles sounded good and this place had a good rating. We had to travel about 25 minutes to get there but it was worth it. A huge bowl of noodle soup, one with crispy chicken, the other with prawns. Both filling and delicious. Lots of fresh vegetables and cilantro. Had a beer and a glass of wine served in a caraf. A small caraf was easlily two glasses. could not finish and we both took half our soup home with us. About 30 euro total. It's a small place with about 8 tables but the food is served steaming hot and the noodle lady is making fresh noodles all day. Highly recommend. read more

We are now almost 3 weeks into our Europe trip. While I love European food noodles always remind us of home. We have now had beef noodle soup in 3 different big European cities in 3 different countries. This one ranks about #2 out of the 3 we have been too. Inflation has also made food expensive here in Paris. Here you can get a big bowl of noodle soup for 10.90 a cheeseburger at 5 guys cost almost the same. They hand make their own noodles. Their ac actually works and they are friendly enough. Come in, get seated fairly quick, have a great bowl of noodles, pay and continue your day. More restaurants need to be like this. We have gone 2 times already, maybe one more time before we leave. Highly recommended. read more

Noodles here are pretty great! We weren't expecting much since we are used to having good Asian food in SoCal, but this place was really good, even compared to 626 SoCal standards. We ordered the chow mein with crispy chicken, and spicy beef stew noodles. Noodles are made on the spot and you can watch the guy kneading the dough and pulling the noodles from it. Good price for good food ! Small place close to the Madeleine, proposing a menu of different styles of noodles : cold, soup, or fried. I took a formula at €14.90 which included a tea, a starter ( pork dumplings) and a main course ( spicy beef noodle soup) It was delicious and fulfilled ! I didn't feel hungry at all for the rest of the day ! Wanted to love this place given all the glowing reviews, but sadly the food was mediocre at best. The portions look big at first glance (especially the spicy beef soup noodles) but you eventually realize that it's mostly just 70% soup in a very large bowl with maybe a handful of chunks of beef with a dollop of noodles. It was also not spicy at all, so you'd have to add extra chilli paste on your own if you want it spicier. The fried chicken with wok-fried noodles was decent with some crispiness, but the noodles felt greasy on the whole. Canned drinks were very expensive at 3 euros a pop. Might be good if you're in a pinch and craving noodles in Paris for a change, but we probably would not return given the numerous other food options and restaurants in the area. read more

The energetic smiling servers quickly brought a trio of 3-star dishes that I liked, but wasn't enamored with: * Nêms au porc (Fried pork rolls) ... looked amazing; were alright * Soupe de nouilles au bœuf pimenté (Spicy Beef Noodles Soup) ... looked spicy; was mild * Soupe de nouilles au porc sauce soja (Zhajiang) (Pork Soybean Sauce Noodles Soup) ... looked hot; was warm Maybe we'll end up together someday like Forrest Gump and Jenny, but for now, La Pâte à Nouilles and I are deep in the "Friend Zone" of Chinese food ... and the long-distance relationship won't help. First thing's first -- the handmade noodles are definitely worth the wait for dinner!! Stumbled upon this place and was immediately attracted to their advertisement of freshly made noodles. A few oddities, though, prevented me from giving that 5-star review. Upon arrival, we were told we couldn't order any of the noodle dishes (with the exception of the soups) until 6pm because the chef was not in yet. It was 545pm and they literally wouldn't take our noodle order until 6pm. We ordered some appetizers while waiting and 2 of the 4 appetizers were incorrect. Don't get me wrong, it was all still delicious but 4 orders of egg rolls seemed ... excessive. We're not the type of group to waste so naturally we still ate all 4 orders. Lol. We didn't bother to correct the staff about our appetizer order because the language barrier made the initial ordering process complicated enough. Definitely check this place out if you're craving noodles in Paris, but make sure you come after 6pm! Also, if you point at pictures when ordering appetizers, there's still no guarantee you'll get the right ones because that's what we did and well ... we got 4 orders of egg rolls. :) read more

After a long day of sightseeing and craving some home cooking, this place was spot on! The roast duck noodle soup was hearty and the noodles cooked perfectly. The ground pork noodles (C9) full flavored and nicely spiced. The crispy chicken noodles and shrimp noodles were satisfying. The shrimp dumpling skin was thicker than normal (vs. SF dim sum) and the filling was ok but it came steaming hot to our table so you know it's fresh. read more

So unexpectedly, I came here and found my favorite bowl of noodles EVER. I ordered the S9 - Pork soybean sauce noodle soup aka Zhajiang la mian in Chinese and it was the BOMB DIGGITY!! On the menu, it's labeled as spicy but I found it to be not spicy at all. The soup base was perfection and soooooo tasty. The noodles were also perfect and not doughy tasting. My boyfriend tried the S2 - Beef Noodles soup, which is another option we recommend. The soup base was a lot lighter than the Pork Soybean noodle soup, but it tasted refreshing and had a delish beef taste. So glad we found this place in Paris and I highly recommend this place if you're looking to venture out into trying some delicious Asian noodle soups. read more

It was okay. The soup broth was good, but my meat was cold like it had just come out of the fridge, even though my soup was steaming. The "spicy" beef wasn't spicy at all. I couldn't even tell they put spice in it. My wife got the shrimp soup. They breaded the shrimp with the shell on. What's the point of breading shrimp with the shell on if you're just going to take the breading off to take the shell off? The worst part, they only serve soup until 6:00 p.m. we couldn't order the noodle plate when we got there at 5:15 for dinner. I thought the noodle plate was the same thing just without broth, but I guess it's too hard for them to have two items on their menu available at all times of the day. Instead, they had one. Great Asian noodle place good for everyone. We had beef bowl of noodles and the "spicy" beef bowl (wasn't very spicy...beef was just marinated and a little spice added). Also ordered pork steamed dumplings which were good. Noodles for dishes are hand pulled for your order. Fun to watch! Great change from French food. Tourists should definitely consider. read more

We got a number of the entrees, friend pork rolls (delicious), fried shrimp dumplings (good though a bit over fried), Beijing pork dumplings (amazing, we ordered more) and steamed pork dumplings (good). For main dish we all went for the noodles with spiced beef and it was good though I was surprised the beef was good though I am assuming that is what it should be like. Definitely come here!
