After being in Europe for over a month, we saw 2 Chinese/Vietnamese places near our hotel and decided to try one. When I typed Chinese into yelp, 2 other places came up & I went looking for them but instead saw this place. I realized why It didn't come up in the search. It's not listed as Chinese.
I decided to come here because they had the "sets" of noodles & Phó at a reasonable price of €9.90 (for Paris).
Outside, the place looks like and old fashioned Chinese place but inside, it's on the modern side. I don't speak French but my Mandarin is okay & the Waitress is from China (Wenzhou actually- all of them) so we spoke in Mandarin. I quickly that the Phó was way better than the Wonton needles so I had it. Also ordered some vegetables (which were tiny). Also, I think because I spoke to them in Mandarin, they were real nice to me. They asked me if I was on vacation & do I come to France often.
The Phó was a bit skimpy on the raw beef but otherwise, not bad. I would come have it again.
The other ways food is sold here is ala cart or by weight - by weight, each item is a different price and sold in 100 gram (3 ounce) increments. The other places nearly sell food the same way & if you eat like an American - as in a lot - this may cost you.
2 bowls of Phó, a tiny bit of vegetables, a red tea & a coke came to €28.84 - okay la for Paris. read more
