I chose Long Fence to instal a new iron gate and a few feet of fencing either side to close off my…read morefront driveway. The custom measured powder coat gate is motorized. The quote was very expensive but I went with it because of the brand name and the thought that the instal would be high end with full electronic features for opening, closing and operation from within the house. Was I wrong..... What I got was a very basic, and I mean basic system, no light even for the touch pad. The iron started to rust before the installation was even complete. While some of the misunderstanding as to what electronic controls I was to get may have been on me, the whole thing was poorly executed with the gate dragged on the driveway interfering with opeining and closing. The sub contract electrician did a great job cutting the iron from the gate to clear drive way and installing the electronics, however the standard of the gate/fence instal was poor. I am now rubbing down the areas of rust at every welded joint etc myself and priming/top coating the many rust spots after spending high end money (and I mean high) for a low grade job. Oh and also installing a light over the touch pad so people can see the code they are punching in.... Save yourself the grief, do not buy from Long Fence

The project consisted of extended a patio that we had done by them a few years ago, you would never know that it wasn't original, blends perfectly and the crew couldn't have been better, they worked hard and when we asked a question they stopped to listen and then gave us the answer without being annoyed. Left the site neat and clean too. Hard to find good workers, with good customer service while staying in budget and on time with a great salesperson on top of it! We had a fence installed with the patio previously too, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the company and the salesperson!!! Ask for Kyle when you call!
