Everything was explained and laid out to us beforehand. It was a simple, quick, and easy process. We couldn't be happier with the installation. The team of guys were hard working, friendly, and thorough. They did a great job and everything was complete on schedule. They came everyday around the same time and worked until dark (and even past dark) They were very conscious and considerate to our property. It was sooo cold out when they came to do our deck (week before Christmas) so I offered daily for them to eat their lunch in our basement but the head guy said they were dirty and they didn't want to get dust in our house. I didn't mind because I laid out blankets. I just felt bad they had to work in the cold and then take their lunch break in the cold. I wish they would have taken the offer but the thought on their end was noted. Everything was solidly put together. We couldn't be happier. That crew was awesome and worked so hard! They were not like your average work crew, standing around talking, hanging out on their phone. From the second they showed up until they left (aside from lunch) they were NONSTOP. I just want to say that my family is very happy with the chain link gates. Eddie Serrano was great when he came down to see what we wanted. He listened to us. Then he gave us his ideas which was great. He kept in contact with us. When I emailed him with questions he got right back to me. I like that type of service. The way he handle everything and treated us made my decision easy to go with your company. Cheryl Taylorson was great and very helpful when setting up our appointment. When I emailed her to ask a question about payment she responded right back . Bill Wolfe came out to see what his crew was going to do. He was great. Very easy to talk too. He got everything lined up. When the crew arrived to do the job they were very friendly and pleasant. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up everything as they were working. I contacted Fence and Deck Connection to replace a 25 year old deck that they had built for us back in 1995. The entire crew at Fence and Deck Connection was very professional from start to finish. From the beginning Jimmy Larue was very thorough and helpful with design ideas. He went over every detail and explained all of our options. He was also very patient with me changing my mind several times on pretty much everything from material, size and also the design. Our project manager Tim Dennis was also very professional and followed through with all the details as the project was underway. The crew was timely , polite and didn't mind me nosing around and even changing something midstream that we forgot to include. Where do I begin? Our situation was a little different our permit got held up for ALMOST A YEAR with the county due to a comprehensive design we had. Fence and Deck helped us through that process. David Kings (The Sales Team) stayed in communication each month to ensure the county gets what's required to proceed. Well it was worth a wait as the quality of work was excellent. The crew they sent out worked all day in the excessive heat and stopped for a few minutes for lunch. As your PM may have told you, our son is coming in on Saturday from California with his fiancé for a weeklong visit. It's been five years since he has been back here on the east coast and home with us. While the County permit took a long while, your team subsequently pulled it off and got it done for us on the Tuesday prior. It amazed us to watch your crew take out the old and present us with the new deck in one day. From the initial call for a quote, to the installation date was fantastic. Jeff Gottleib came to give us an estimate, my husband asked him questions, and received great answers. I was not available that day so Jeff came back again (thanks, Jeff!), so I could hear how they were going to install, what was required, and the length of time for installation. Our project manager, Steve Ghiardi, reached out to us as soon as the down payment was made, to introduce himself, along with the layout specifics required (any permits, delivery, set up area, water, and electrical needs). Our delivery date was moved up, and we certainly appreciated the quick response times. It went so smoothly with their crews. Delivery on the installation timeline was perfect, accomplished by the leadership of TJ Farley and job foreman Eddie. I love our new fence. The crew were extraordinary. They arrived around 8am and worked continually until almost 9pm to complete the project. Clean up was thorough after removing a 37 year old wood fence/posts and then replacing with a beautiful vinyl fence. No random screws, nails, or bits of building materials left anywhere on the grounds. I have only positive things to say about my experiences from contacting the company for a job quote to meeting project and construction supervisors to the inspection for quality control. Our experience with Fence & Deck Connection was outstanding! The crew started work and quickly removed our old stairs and began construction on the new stairs. Our backyard is a challenging landscape -- wooded area and on a hill, and the crew still was able to make quick work of the project.
