Everything was explained and laid out to us beforehand. It was a simple, quick, and easy process. We couldn't be happier with the installation. The team of guys were hard working, friendly, and thorough. They did a great job and everything was complete on schedule. They came everyday around the same time and worked until dark (and even past dark) They were very conscious and considerate to our property. It was sooo cold out when they came to do our deck (week before Christmas) so I offered daily for them to eat their lunch in our basement but the head guy said they were dirty and they didn't want to get dust in our house. I didn't mind because I laid out blankets. I just felt bad they had to work in the cold and then take their lunch break in the cold. I wish they would have taken the offer but the thought on their end was noted. Everything was solidly put together. We couldn't be happier. That crew was awesome and worked so hard! They were not like your average work crew, standing around talking, hanging out on their phone. From the second they showed up until they left (aside from lunch) they were NONSTOP. Take good care of them because workers like that are not easy to come by and they are worth every penny! read more

I just want to say that my family is very happy with the chain link gates. Eddie Serrano was great when he came down to see what we wanted. He listened to us. Then he gave us his ideas which was great. He kept in contact with us. When I emailed him with questions he got right back to me. I like that type of service. The way he handle everything and treated us made my decision easy to go with your company. Cheryl Taylorson was great and very helpful when setting up our appointment. When I emailed her to ask a question about payment she responded right back . Bill Wolfe came out to see what his crew was going to do. He was great. Very easy to talk too. He got everything lined up. When the crew arrived to do the job they were very friendly and pleasant. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up everything as they were working. We was very pleased with everything. William came by for the final look to make sure we was happy with the work and to make sure everything was done as planned. He was very friendly and pleasant. I have to say this was the best service we had In a long time. We will contact this company again when we need something done. I'm very pleased. read more

I contacted Fence and Deck Connection to replace a 25 year old deck that they had built for us back in 1995. The entire crew at Fence and Deck Connection was very professional from start to finish. From the beginning Jimmy Larue was very thorough and helpful with design ideas. He went over every detail and explained all of our options. He was also very patient with me changing my mind several times on pretty much everything from material, size and also the design. Our project manager Tim Dennis was also very professional and followed through with all the details as the project was underway. The crew was timely , polite and didn't mind me nosing around and even changing something midstream that we forgot to include. They cleaned up every night and the project was completed ahead of schedule and we absolutely love our new deck. I had 3 neighbors stop and ask who built our deck in the first 2 days and we receive compliments on the design and quality from everyone who sees it. Fence and Deck connection will always be our #1 choice because we know we are getting the absolute best of the best!! read more

Where do I begin? Our situation was a little different our permit got held up for ALMOST A YEAR with the county due to a comprehensive design we had. Fence and Deck helped us through that process. David Kings (The Sales Team) stayed in communication each month to ensure the county gets what's required to proceed. Well it was worth a wait as the quality of work was excellent. The crew they sent out worked all day in the excessive heat and stopped for a few minutes for lunch. They were hard-working, humble young men who were polite, considerate, friendly and extremely professional. Their professionalism was EXCEPTIONAL. I can't say enough positive things about Fence & Deck. You guys did an amazing Job. Please continue to work at the high standards you have. I couldn't wait to write this review about David and the crew. My husband and I are extremely happy with our large size deck which ONLY took 4 & 1/2 days to complete. I'll be sure to schedule something for our existing deck to our rental property in the near future. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Mr. & Mrs. Vala read more

Thank You!Fence and Deck Connection Logo " My experience with Fence & Deck Connection has been exceptional! Mr Nehus started this Experience by coming in to talk with me about options and pricing. Then Steve Ghiardi came out to measure and explain the process. On the day of installation, Mr. Ghiardi came out with the crew. Alberto and his crew were phenomenal!! They were courteous, friendly and answered any and all questions that I had. They even addressed issues that my neighbors had!! They were terrific!! They left my yard impeccable and made sure that I was totally satisfied before they left! I have recommended 3 of my friends, as well as my neighbor who wants to complete their yard with the same fence. I am so very pleased with my new fence!! I know if I have an issue, I can call Mr. Ghiardi and he will make sure the issue is rectified. I purchased my front fence from Fence & Deck Connection a few years ago and when there was an issue, they immediately came out to fix it. This company is truly top notch!!! Dareen read more

If you are looking for best in class service and a quality product with competitive pricing, I can personally vouch for FENCE & DECK CONNECTION (F&DC). We had a fence built by F&DC 5 years ago and worked with Andy. We remembered the positive experience and reached out again when we decided to have our deck replaced. We know that you should get multiple estimates but frankly, we were so confident in the relationship with Andy and the company that we looked no further. We received a great price which included a returning customer discount. We were not disappointed. The quality of the product and craftsmanship far exceeded our expectations. Even the Howard County inspector commented to us regarding the workmanship and quality of the deck! The technicians finished well before the quoted timeframe leaving the site cleaner than when they started. From start to finish our experience was amazing. The customer service and communication throughout the process was exceptional. Job well done from start to finish. read more

As I conveyed to your Project Manager, on a scale of 1 -10, my wife and I give all of you a 12 for a truly great experience and end product. From start to finish your communication, response times, advisement of project status, overall communication, scheduling, courtesy of all involved, workmanship, cleanup and end product has been refreshing and on point without exception. As your PM may have told you, our son is coming in on Saturday from California with his fiancé for a weeklong visit. It's been five years since he has been back here on the east coast and home with us. While the County permit took a long while, your team subsequently pulled it off and got it done for us on the Tuesday prior. It amazed us to watch your crew take out the old and present us with the new deck in one day. My wife and I celebrated out there that night and again on Saturday evening with our son and fiancé as well as every day for the following week. Thank you for a great experience. Highly recommend Fence and Deck to anyone. read more

My experience with Fence & Deck Connection from the beginning to end was incredible. I give this company 5 stars excellence. Exceptional customer service is very important when deciding on a big project. Great job to the sales consultant, the project, production manager, the contractors and all that were involved in my deck and fence project. Everyone responded to emails, text, and phone calls in a timely manner. I'm pleased with my deck, fence and railing. Although I'm very pleased with everything, I wish I would have decided on taking one set of steps out, which would have given me a little more deck space instead. Maybe I'll have them give me a price for that in the near future. Over all, I want to send a big THANKS TO EVERYONE, and I will refer and recommend this company to anyone who is looking to have a new deck or fence installed. Special Thanks To: Steven Nehus, TJ Farley, Shane George, Carl Schmidt, Hilary Hannon, Cheryl Taylorson, Bob Hannon, Steve Ghiardi, Contractors, and all who were involved. read more

From the initial call for a quote, to the installation date was fantastic. Jeff Gottleib came to give us an estimate, my husband asked him questions, and received great answers. I was not available that day so Jeff came back again (thanks, Jeff!), so I could hear how they were going to install, what was required, and the length of time for installation. Our project manager, Steve Ghiardi, reached out to us as soon as the down payment was made, to introduce himself, along with the layout specifics required (any permits, delivery, set up area, water, and electrical needs). Our delivery date was moved up, and we certainly appreciated the quick response times. It went so smoothly with their crews. It took a day and a half from the fence material delivery to a new fence completely installed. Steve stopped by again to inspect the entire fence, front and back. We certainly appreciate that too! I highly recommend Fence and Deck Connection for any fencing work, it looks so great, and professional done! read more

Communication was exceptional. They listened to my input, and got the design and details spot on the first time. Delivery on the installation timeline was perfect, accomplished by the leadership of TJ Farley and job foreman Eddie. They were very considerate in their moving about the property, where to place supplies, tools, etc. Workmanship was superlative! This project presented a number of challenges, given the house configuration, the number and placement of support elements and the complex angles involved. Phenomenal experience! From end-to-end, this project proceeded in a textbook fashion, from the first meeting with Kevin Bullion, through the design and scheduling process with Carl Schmidt, to the Master Craftsmanship of Eddie and his team, managed by TJ Farley, this was the smoothest project of this sort for me ever! Bonuses should be sent to all! read more

We had a tree fall on our deck last Spring and I reached out to Fence and Deck Connection for a repair quote since they built the original with Ryan Homes in 2015. Joel G. was very responsive and got me a quote right away, which included a discount (thank you!). Unfortunately I wasn't able to complete the job last year due to new baby expenses, but I reached out to him 2 days ago with the signed order and paid the initial down payment. Joel anticipated he could have a crew to us within a week. Well I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when our door bell rang and it was a crew there ready to do the job as they happened to be in the area and had the correct parts. Additionally, their office / accounting staff have all been very friendly each time I call to finalize payments. Thank you Fence & Deck Connection! read more

I love our new fence. The crew were extraordinary. They arrived around 8am and worked continually until almost 9pm to complete the project. Clean up was thorough after removing a 37 year old wood fence/posts and then replacing with a beautiful vinyl fence. No random screws, nails, or bits of building materials left anywhere on the grounds. I have only positive things to say about my experiences from contacting the company for a job quote to meeting project and construction supervisors to the inspection for quality control. The total cost fell within my budget and I know that I am the proud owner of a beautiful, quality structure. Thank you Jeff Hagan, Jeff Gottleib, Billy Wolfe, Cheryl Taylorson, Carlos/work crew, and Mason. You all contributed to more than exceeding my expectations. read more

My overall experience was awesome from beginning to end. Jimmy, my salesperson, was available to answer any questions in a timely manner and notified me promptly when we needed to make a change in the contract. Ben, the Project Manager, was superb in explaining the process in real time and kept me abreast of any changes with the deck and when the crew would be there. The crew was fantastic and hard working -- they were very dedicated to the job and paid attention to details. I could not have hand picked a better team and they were approved by one of the most important family members, Adonis (the canine manager). My deck is beautiful, I could not have dreamed it would be this nice. The quality of care put into their work is unmatched. Thank you guys for an awesome job. read more

Overall, the entire process has been the easiest experience we have had with any contractor. From the initial contact all the way through to the completion of the project, it was clear that the whole team wanted to do the best possible job, and they did. Every single thing was explained, everything was on time, even to the start time each of the 2 days of construction, and everybody involved was determined to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted. Most importantly, the quality of the work is exceptional. I think the best thing I can say is that we are already thinking about additional work, and we will not even consider anybody else to do it. It is clear that the whole team really works as a team and we felt in very good hands all the way through. Thank you! read more

I appreciate the professionalism of the staff at Fence & Deck Connection, from the project manager to the workers. I was informed every step of the way; they were prompt, professional and courteous. My fence & deck is gorgeous, I can't wait for the summer to get here. I would recommend Fence & Deck Connection, and the prices are unbeatable. We received an estimate from Long Fence which only included the fence itself, Fence & Deck Connection not only beat their "discounted prices" but added stairs to my deck for $1,000's cheaper. If you need a reliable professional Fencing company I would recommend Fence & Deck Connection, actually several neighbors have used Fence & Deck Connection because of the testimonials of others in the neighborhood. A truly satisfied customer. read more

The Fence and Deck Connection total experience completely exceeded expectations! From the initial contact to request a meeting; meeting with David King to discuss our ideas and creating design plans; receiving CAD drawing of the design; meeting with Anthony (AJ) Jean-Louis to discuss production plans and quickly answering questions along the way; the production team did a great job on the work site everyday - from start to finish; and meeting with AJ for final walkthrough. The complete process was done with professionalism; an enjoyable experience for such a major project. We are so glad that we selected Fence and Deck Connection for our deck and fence replacement projects. We look forward to enjoying our deck for many years to come! read more

Brian Hannon, Carl Schmidt and all their crew are awesome! We have been very impressed by the professionalism and attention to detail they displayed EVERY day from demolition to build to finish work. Each team member was pleasant and engaged in making us happy. You have a great team, and they represent your company in a very positive manner. We love our new space!!! We have remodeled several homes and Fence and Deck Connection is by far the best! They walked us through each process, checked in with updates on permits and product shipments. EVERY SINGLE day during demo and construction the crew cleaned up the work area, packed up tools and swept or raked the work area for debris. Our neighbors all commented on that too! read more

Working with Fence and Deck Connection was a wonderful experience. I wanted to replace my much-needed fence and deck, so I called the company based on recommendations from my neighbors. Jake and I met, and we discussed options that would best work for me. There was constant communication between me, Jake, TJ, and Steve regarding scheduling and updates. I had one crew for the fence and another for the deck. Each crew arrived on time and cleaned up the area when the finished so well that you never knew that was a crew working in my yard. I am extremely pleased with the customer service and work this company provides. I highly recommend Fence and Deck Connection for anyone looking to replace their fence and deck. read more

Our experience with Fence & Deck Connection was outstanding! The crew started work and quickly removed our old stairs and began construction on the new stairs. Our backyard is a challenging landscape -- wooded area and on a hill, and the crew still was able to make quick work of the project. Also the quality of the work was excellent, our new stairs are the envy of our neighbors. The project manager kept us updated if there were any changes, and if there were any hiccups we let them know and it was taken care of immediately. -- there was hassle. Overall we are very pleased with the final result and very happy we chose Fence & Deck Connection, will recommend and use them in the future. read more
