I am a property manager (25 years in). I have worked with many contractors over the years. However…read morethis was a big deal for me, because this was my own home. (Not that i didnt care about the other it just became much more personal to me). I can honestly say that Julio's painting company has been one of the best I have ever encountered. It is my practice to gather estimates from several company's , Julio was one of the 7 that showed up and wrote up a proposal. He was the 3rd lowest in the group, but what put him to the top, is that i needed someone to hang a chandelier in the foyer and he wrote it into his proposal, while others wanted to charge separately with additional fees. I always find it Leary, when contractors try to make allowances to charge you more with their "IF something happens" or "IF more time or material is needed". You know what i mean. I just want one straight up number (amount) and we are good to go!! He also took his time and made lots of notes when he did a walk through. You could see that he truly knew his "Work"! We hired him and he and his crew showed up a week later right on time! They were there for Aprox 3 days repairing and fixing the drywalls sanding it down and then painting (walls, ceiling, trims and doors). They then took a day break, because we had our household goods delivered. (Yes, they were very flexible and willing to working with us). They restarted the next day and by day 5 they were all done. During the job, my husband and i set up camp in our basement, so we wouldn't be in there way, however whatever encounters we had, he and his crew were very respectful, accommodating and mindful of there presence there. They cleaned up at the end of each day. On the day before completion, he had us walk the house and gave us painters tape to mark any areas of concern. They showed up the next day and addressed every nicks and scrapes that we tagged. On completion, we were extremely happy and satisfied with the job they had done. So Pleased that we contracted him to do the Exterior of the home. They power washed the walls, gutters, siding and even my windows. they then painted all the trim and areas that they had power washed. They did such an AMAZING job that two of our neighbors have already requested a referral. I cant say enough about this company and Julio. We are extremely greatful that we contracted the RIGHT people for the job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Within five (5) minutes, he handed me examples of three (3) of the systems they used and a folder with all the details I needed to make my decisions. It took me so long to write this review because I don't like saying bad things about companies but after today December 8, 2018 when I found my BRAND NEW Redskins Hoodie turned inside out with PAINT and PLASTER all over it and stashed behind some storage boxes in an upstairs spare bedroom that was the last straw!!!!!! They took the time to turn it inside out and hide it. I did not have work done in any bedrooms so there was no reason for them to even open the door. I had all 3 bedroom doors closed. I'm sure this was done when I left my elderly family member here for 1 day because I had to go back to work. They actually took the hoodie off the hanger and rubbed it in paint on purpose. I only found it because I was pulling out Christmas decorations. These people are evil and I guess they are not Redskins fans. If I could leave my phone number in this review I would just so I can tell you the horrors I went thru. They drank 2 cases of my water without my permission and then put the half empty bottles in my freezer. I had to trash everything in the fridge. They left water rings from the bottles on my furniture. They wrote the words F**k You on my laminate flooring boxes. I reported this to the owner Sergio and he was supposed to come and talk to me but he sent his son to talk to me which was a waste of time. In October I was moving stuff around and saw some strange symbols carved in my brand new $1500 Bose Soundbar box. This box was behind my sofa unopened for 6 years and no one ever touched it but me so who carved this crap? It was not there went I bought it from Circuit City. When my house flooded I didn't want any electronics put in storage so this box was in the room where they were working. I was looking around my house for 2 months for my brand new hoodie and today I find it covered in paint. I left Sergio a message and sent him pictures of my hoodie. I'm sure I will get no response. My concern now is how many other things will I find in my house that was destroyed by these people. I am so mad right now I want to get the police involved. I was very nice to these guys ....I bought them lunch one day and I gave them water everyday not knowing that they were stealing water I had in my storage room. Sergio kept telling me it was ok to leave them in my house alone I said no I don't leave anyone in my house alone. I ended up using most of my vacation time. Oh...did I mention the spit I found on my floor after they left. DO NOT LEAVE THESE PEOPLE IN YOUR HOUSE ALONE. I have cameras but with the construction going on I turned them off. BIG MISTAKE on my part. I would have had the person on camera. My project was supposed to take 3 maybe 4 days but it ended up taking 8 or 9 days just to paint and add flooring to the first floor of a very small townhouse. Then they had to come back on a Saturday to fix things that they did wrong or sloppy. I have baseboards that are not straight. I have quarter round that is not attached (I went to sweep and the section just came off). They had to come back and re paint my whole kitchen. You could still see the old white walls thru the new gray paint (they did a rush job on the kitchen). If you decide to use this people wait at least 2 weeks after the work is completed because you will find tons of stuff that is not done properly. They installed a powder room light fixture and I touched and it fell sideways. I pulled the bathroom sink stopper pole up and it came all the way out in my hand. I have paint spots on my new paver patio in the backyard (still cant figure out why they were in my backyard with paint) I paid them to paint my front door but they did not do it. I had to call and finally they came back and painted it. Sergio refused to fix my baseboards . He said my floors are not level..LOL. I might be a woman but I'm not stupid. I sent Sergio a text message and I told him he needed to send his workers back to fix this stuff and call me to discuss. He replied "I have nothing to discuss the work is over". But had the nerve to ask me for the money for installing a bathroom light that almost fell off the wall when I touched it. The transition piece of wood between the hall and laundry room was not even glued down. It was sticking up. They painted my laundry room and storage room bi-fold doors and didn't let them dry but placed them up against each other so all 3 doors stuck together and were damaged when they pulled them apart. I could go on and on....but I wont. I will be reporting this company to every agency I can find.

Over the last four years, I have hired Scott on five occasions for different painting jobs…read more First he did one contrast wall, about 4.5' by 8' in matte and a desk and shelves in gloss to go on that wall. Next he painted a desk and bureau. Scott's work needed to be supervised pretty closely, ("hey looks like a second coat is needed") but the end product is good. On the third job, I decided to hire him for something larger and more complex which was repairing and repainting the wood front and back exterior doors and transom windows, and some ceiling repair in a lower unit. On this job, Scott brought in a fellow named Alex who might be a little OCD, and it's amazing! Alex's precision and drywall repair is perfect and he made things look really good. The next time I needed painting, I emailed Scott and he sent over Alex for some ceiling repair that went perfectly. The funny thing is you hear Scott managing workers well, in the same way you need to manage him if he does it himself, saying things like, "Do you think we need another coat, seems like it right?" I had Scott in recently with the request to have Alex paint an entire lower unit, which is a one bedroom with four closets and a bathroom. He gave me an estimate for three days of work, and said that unfortunately he was trying to use Alex less but had new helpers. I never saw any helpers at all, it was just Scott, but I did miss day three onsite and Scott said there were helpers there then. On day four (of three, mind) he was done with the bedroom and inspected early in the morning. There were over 20 spots that were missed in the room. I realize that painting flat white walls is not interesting but there were missing spots on the walls, an entire closet door was not done in the gloss that the doors and trim were being done in. I pointed them all out to Scott. Friday morning early I inspected again, and it was better, but it was still not complete and there were obvious problems. There were some spots on one of the walls, and I had to take pictures because the carpet guys were coming later in the day and I didn't want Scott to blame them (he did, so good thing). Friday late night, my husband drove down from Connecticut and early Saturday we inspected. The spots where Scott had to paint the bedroom wall because he had missed he had gotten spots of flat paint on the gloss trim. However, the main room was even worse. Some of the doors and trim are gloss. Some flat. No rhythm or reason which, but there you go. My husband's assessment was have him finish out what he can do that day and then not have him back. We were supposed to leave Sunday afternoon anyway for three weeks, which is part of the reason it was inconvenient to have the job go over. We're figuring out how much we need to redo, and doing the last bit/spots missed on our own when we find the free time. Unless Alex is reading this, in which case, call me! Overall, I would use Scott for: Smaller jobs that you can easily manage (or larger jobs if you have lots of time to manage or work with him!) Creative jobs - he painted a dresser and desk exciting colors and put cool knobs on. I had to tell him that more than one coat was necessary, but he seemed more inspired. If he is managing others. Large, uncreative jobs that can't be closely supervised I would find someone else. Scott is a really nice guy, and great for showing up on time and sending the estimate and billing in a timely fashion. Now for the worst part, I told my husband all this beforehand and didn't have the foresight to not use Scott for this final job! On the 4.5' by 8' four years ago, Scott missed a corner painting. I asked him to touch that up (easy) and he failed to tape the ceiling so that there was then blue paint on the ceiling. He then painted that over with mismatched/too thin white.
