Stay away from Pro Painting. They did the interior of our house in early 2023. They were sloppy and left us with a shoddy job and subsequent surprises. We were taken in by the price (15% under the competition) and Jeff's promises, but we regretted it not long after they started working. First, the obvious. They are sloppy. We are still finding places where there is paint from an adjacent surfaces. Trim paint on walls, wall paint on trim. Not little flecks, but real brush strokes that would have been obvious to the painter but ignored. Almost as bad, the coat(s) of paint are thin. Almost any area that was cut-in looks like an inept Harry Homeowner did the work. They skimped everywhere. Some areas of the paint are so thin that old paint shows through. The paint wore through In one part of the trim that we occasionally touch. That Never happened in 40 previous years of paint jobs (I am repainting that worn through trim this weekend). Waste and Worse - There was a lot of paint left over that we paid for. Some were full cans. I now understand why. They bought enough for good coverage but saved time and effort by painting thin, hence tons of leftover paint. Which brings me to the Worse part, more Corner Cutting without regard to the homeowner. I have had to touch up the paint in various areas. In opening each partially full can I was met with a surprise - used rollers immersed and hidden in the paint. In today's trim paint exercise the surprise was three small rollers. What a mess to deal with. I gave away the full unopened cans so I had no choice but to deal with Pro" Painting's method of roller disposal. On the topic of letting the homeowner worry about it, there was paint splatter on virtually every floor in every room. These were small splatter dots,but something they should have either prevented or taken care of. I have cleaned them up as I found them. The Experience - They finished a full day early rather that taking the estimated time to do the job. They did this by all of the above short cuts and by working on almost all of the house at once, relegating us to one small room for most of the time. That's not what were told or expected. Scratched Floors - I specifically asked that they use pads under any furniture that they moved. I was assured they are pros and do that all the time. They scratched the floors in two of the rooms with heavy furniture. They are obvious scratches. The crew departed in darkness. It escapes my memory whether Jeff came by for a walk through that noight or in the light of day. I think the former. We did have them back once to fix a few glaring mistakes like a missed section of wall in the finished basement. In summary, the experience was unpleasant and the results poor. It is clear that their top priority is getting the job done quickly to save labor cost. Spend a few dollars more and get a real pro job.2 read more

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about Jeff and Pro Painting. Third good experience! We were moving out of a house and into a new larger one that needed painting and flooring. On a very tight time frame and without a lot of notice, they came gave an estimate and painted everything we needed in between when the old floor was taken up and before the new one will be put down. Very professional and very fair price again! A couple of weeks ago they also saved the day! We had used them 3 months ago and had a wonderful experience. We just had a small painting need that was time-sensitive, and they were out in less than a week and took care of it beautifully. I found Pro Painting through yelp. I called around for 3 quotes and felt Jeff and Pro Painting were the best option for the job. I was in need of some ceiling fixes along with painting in the whole place, painting in the main living space, dining, kitchen and one bathroom. Jeff, along with Nelson and his team were great. They were always on time and very accommodating. They were able to complete most of the work in one day. They came back the next day to finish up a few ceiling touch ups. I reached out to Jeff to have my entire house painted before we moved in - almost 4000 square feet, including a grand entrance, vaulted ceilings, all doors, and all trim. I also needed repairs done to some of the drywall including patching some holes and properly taking care of some stains from previous water damage. Jeff arrived promptly for our estimate and we walked the property. He took good notes - we named each room so we each knew what we were talking about and he explained the overall process. One area Jeff really helped us out with was picking our sheen. We went with an all-white color scheme for the ceiling, walls, and trim with different sheens and he walked us through what would happen if we chose satin over flat etc. Especially when it comes to the natural light coming in for the grand entrance versus what type of sheen you want in a bathroom where there might be moisture. Everything was clearly spelled out in the contract: what type of paint, what sheen, what it was for (walls, trim, etc), how many coats, etc. I've had trouble in the past getting contractors to commit on paper to the exact job and this was a breath of fresh air. Jeff met his crew at my house on the first day and we walked the property again to go over everything that was agreed to. His crew was awesome and were always polite and took great care of my house. The entire job was completed in a week. The house looks phenomenal and we were able to move in without having to do any work. I then had them come back for another job to paint a black accent wall in my office. And again they did a great job and it looks great. So I had them back again to paint my townhouse that I'm selling. We went with an all white color scheme again but with a slightly different paint; again, based on recommendations from walking property. They were able to complete that job in one day. Highly recommend them and I plan to use them again to paint some exterior trim late fall / early next spring. I will not paint a room again myself! read more

Best Painters Around!!! If I could give them 10+stars I would. Based off of the recommendation from Yelp, we decided to give Pro Painting a try and I'm glad we did. I must have bugged the owner for a month with my indecisiveness and requested 7 different quotes changing options and trying to see what rooms we wanted to tackle first in our new home purchase. Jeff and crew are very professional, friendly, and understanding. Jeff showed up on time to walk the house and give us a quote and then the crew showed up on time each day once the work started. All floors and railings were covered and protected. Electrical plates were removed and reinstalled after painting and they even went a step further to change out light bulbs in a two story great room to LED for us. Jeff and head crew man, Santos, did an amazing job with communication and only in three days we had everything on the list completed... even with me adding in a last min request to paint the office. Their reply, sure, no problem, we'll add it. We provided the SW paint colors... Repose gray (SW 7015) and Extra White (SW 7006) and they showed up and completed the job even with me still changing my mind in the middle of the job. If anything, I probably was a client from hell & I swear I didn't mean to be, I feel so bad. I even had to apologize to Jeff and then called Santos once the job was completed due to a mishap on my part. Not only is he a neighbor we found out but a hands on owner of Pro Painting & Contracting, After hiring him to update condo with painting, staining and drywall, only 1 month later we incurred water damage from a neighbor above our unit. The water damage affected 4 units. Our HOA wanted us all to hire the same contractor. We had called Jeff as soon as we knew about our damage to our condo and had no intentions of hiring someone else. He was there immediately and once again we handed him the key to our condo and didn't return for 2 weeks. I need some drywall work done, fixing cracks in my walls and fixing nail pops and some other things, calking around bay windows and I wanted an estimate for a Deck. I just wanted a quote, I was asked if I think the work need be at $2,000.00. I have no idea what the cost would be, that is why I wanted a quote. So he said they would not come out unless the work is at least $2,000 or more. So I said that is okay, I felt they did not want to come out and do the work.
