I started off with "Boozin Susan's World Famous Chi Chi". It's a frozen vodka cocktail that tastes like vacation. The vodka is complemented with pineapple, coconut, lime, Demerara syrup and cinnamon. It was a perfect recipe when you think about tiki. (Pic 2) We also tried "Hella Missionary" which is another frozen cocktail with tequila, mezcal, adobo-spiced honey, pineapple, lime and mint. It's the blended mint that makes it green. It was quite tasty with a very fun crazy straw. (Pic 4). We had some bonus fun with a signature shot called "OJ Did It". It was a delicious add to the vibe with vodka, liquor 43, coconut and orange juice. (Pic 7). I couldn't remember what pic 6 is but it was tasty. Maybe it's "OOO-BAE I Love You So". Recently, we decided to come back for their Sunday roast because TikTok convinced me I needed to try one, and I'm so glad we did because it was phenomenal! The price is great for the amount of food you get, too. The roast was tender and juicy, and I'd never tried a Yorkshire pudding before. I loved the crispy yet chewy texture! The veggies were fresh, and the potatoes came mashed and crispy, both seasoned perfectly. The savory gravy tied everything together. We also got the fish and chips, which came in a good-sized portion with fresh fries. The onion rings were battered rather than breaded, which is my favorite, and these were thick, crispy, and came with a really good ranch dressing. Even the Caesar salad was surprisingly fresh for a pub! The service has also been great every time we've visited, even when the place is packed. Shakespeare's is such a good spot for food and drinks, but honestly, it's also one of my favorite places to catch an F1 race. They said yes -- and it turned into such a special and unexpected part of our day. That kind of kindness means so much, especially during a trip that already carries a lot of emotion for our family. Quinten didn't have to do any of that, but he took the time to make our son feel special. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and truly top-notch hospitality. Lastly, before our food even arrived, our server stated that the kitchen was closing soon and they were sending her home for the night and asked if we can close our check. I was a bit flabbergasted as I was thinking who was going to check on us to make sure the food was okay, if we needed anything else such as water refills, or boxes for our food when we finished. I'm just a little bit confused how you can expect a tip if you give us partial service. When the server brought the kiosk the pay she stood there in our face while we were completing the payment, making it an uncomfortable situation and very uncouth. Towards the end of our meal, we were able to flag a Manager down and express our concerns about this, and he was very kind and listened to everything we had to say, I believe his name was Luke.
