They continually neglected to train him properly on different aspects of the categories including the music section, and he got complaints about not being able to do the "play that tune" section a couple times at different locations. They also didn't give him correct login credentials at least 3 times over the span of several months, causing trivia to start late, (also upsetting the regular customers and embarrassing my friend who was just there to host and have a fun time). Lastly, I will never be going back to Mike Hess, (Seaport location specifically), after the last straw. We just found out that someone from management on that team claimed he made a racist joke during his debut hosting gig there last week, which was absolutely a lie- I was there the entire evening and first of all, that absolutely never happened, and I was actually appalled by the joke they claimed someone heard him say. It's not even something I feel comfortable repeating, but it was absolutely false and would never have been something coming out of my friend's mouth EVER. Someone clearly just didn't like him for whatever reason and went out of their way to make sure he was no longer a trivia host by claiming he made a racist joke. Super disappointing because everyone was having a blast and many of the teams loved him. Mike Hess definitely lost our entire friend group as customers due to this incident and I hope Trivia Goat owners and managers re-assess their management style and hiring/firing, and training processes. He went to the restroom and us girls went to ours, they're in the same hallway & you have to pass the women's restroom to get to the men's. As I was exiting the girls bathroom he walked directly past me and I trailed behind him, then all of a sudden I hear one of the girl bartenders ask him to leave because she said she saw him exit the women's restroom. She was LOUD & reactive, like she was 100% sure she saw that, she grabbed 2 of the security guards & asked to get him out because she saw him come out of the girls restroom. WHICH WAS A LIE!! It was humiliating & if she would've just ran back the cameras she would see that is absolutely NOT what happened. It was unprofessional, ridiculous,& tasteless. I get you have to be aware in these situations but she was SO WRONG in this particular instance I was appalled. Therefore if the manager or owner would like to run back tapes on January 30th around 12 am, they will see he did not exit the women's bathroom. I really hope there's some type of repercussions for type of accusation.
