They continually neglected to train him properly on different aspects of the categories including the music section, and he got complaints about not being able to do the "play that tune" section a couple times at different locations. They also didn't give him correct login credentials at least 3 times over the span of several months, causing trivia to start late, (also upsetting the regular customers and embarrassing my friend who was just there to host and have a fun time). Lastly, I will never be going back to Mike Hess, (Seaport location specifically), after the last straw. We just found out that someone from management on that team claimed he made a racist joke during his debut hosting gig there last week, which was absolutely a lie- I was there the entire evening and first of all, that absolutely never happened, and I was actually appalled by the joke they claimed someone heard him say. It's not even something I feel comfortable repeating, but it was absolutely false and would never have been something coming out of my friend's mouth EVER. Someone clearly just didn't like him for whatever reason and went out of their way to make sure he was no longer a trivia host by claiming he made a racist joke. Super disappointing because everyone was having a blast and many of the teams loved him. Mike Hess definitely lost our entire friend group as customers due to this incident and I hope Trivia Goat owners and managers re-assess their management style and hiring/firing, and training processes. Thumbs down all around.

I even had a special request for the song I was walking down the aisle to, and he personally edited it (multiple times!) so that it fit my vision. On the day of, it was flawless and emotional. Not to mention the energy he brought to the dance floor. As an MC, he's engaging and charismatic. As a DJ, he knows exactly what to play and how to get people moving. We contacted Extreme DJ about a year prior to our wedding. We talked to Alex who was incredibly responsive and helpful. He walked us through the packages and the process upfront. One reason we picked them was their broad selection of DJs, the way they let us actually select who to match with, and the fact that they were ok with explicit songs at our request, when other DJ groups were not. We told Alex what we were looking for (type of music vibe, bilingual DJs, etc) and he gave us a few DJs to look into. They all had mix samples which led us to picking Jesse. Jesse met with us a few times prior to our wedding and made sure we had all details settled. When we weren't super sure about things, he gave us playlists and other recommendations to help us decide. He was incredibly patient with us especially as we were indecisive about a few things and changed things along the way. On the day of, it was honestly the best experience we could've ever asked for. Jesse checked in with us right at grand entrance to kick things off, and continued to do so throughout the night. The flow of the program was great and his mixes were even better. We had a very diverse guest group and everyone felt welcomed with how he handled the music and emceeing. All our guests keep telling us that it was the longest they had been on a wedding dance floor ever, especially since we added a few extra hours. I highly recommend extreme, and especially Jesse if you're looking for a fun time at your wedding!
