I don't have much to compare them but man these guys and gals are just amazing! They know what they're doing and they do such a great job at explaining and making you feel comfortable but also challenging you. The space is big and very clean! Always clean. It's spacious and everyone is so nice. It looks like a somewhat new facility but I think it's because they care so much about their location and equipment. Each coach always looks at your technique and makes sure you're doing it well. My favorite are the ataboys, they felt weird at first but it's so helpful to know that everyone wants you to succeed and no give up. They do warm ups before a WOD and stretching afterwards. Everything they do is so organized and neatly put together. Each day they write the WOD on the board and your name with the weights you used or time you finished. Honestly, I would drive to Fort Wayne just to stay a part of this amazing and loving team. Wish everyone well

Whenever they notice a kid is struggling to be there, they give them lots of positive reinforcement. All the parents are wonderful and clap and cheer for all the kids to celebrate everyone's success. The kids are constantly encouraged to cheer each other on. A few months after my youngest started, I signed my older child up. She struggled with sticking up for herself and being too scared to use her voice. They've helped her find her voice and confidence. I loved what I saw in my kids so much, I joined the adult class myself! I've been going for coming up on a year and cannot say enough good things about what it's done for me. I did not start out in shape at all, I work a desk job. I feel better in all aspects of my life. It's more than just exercise. I love everyone who works here and my fellow students. If even the smallest part of you is interested for you or your child, I HIGHLY recommend it. They let you try classes to see if it's a good fit, but I promise you'll fall in love with it.

The indoor walking track is very nice. The pool, hot tub and sauna are nice options. There are racquetball courts that can be reserved as well. The rock wall is a fun amenity too. This Y is very busy. Pick your exercise times carefully as you will have to contend with plenty of others for time on the equipment. Early hours and post work hours are usually very busy.

There is usually no parking at all and if the adjacent park is closed for the season I have no idea where you are suppose to put your car. This is the one major downside of this location. The facility themselves are quite clean albiet crowded at times on the weekend. There isn't too many places to sit down and wait for your kids to finish class. The pool itself is also smaller than other pools we have been to at other YMCA in Illinois. Overall I am happy we have not gotten a YMCA membership as it is not cheap and I can only imagine how it continues to be very crowded during the course of the week.
