Long story short- I enrolled my daughter in the basic program and absolutely loved it. Instructors…read moreMr. Gibson and Mr. Corey were fantastic with my daughter. We were encouraged to continue so I enrolled my daughter in the black belt training. This program was much harder for her so after 3 months she decided it was not for her. I've been in a dispute with Alley and the owner since December of last year trying to either get a refund, or a membership transfer. They did not agree to refund which is unfortunate but they agreed to transfer the membership. I am physically and medically unable to take the membership on myself ( I am in my mid 40's and had knee surgery and am battling plantar fasciitis and undergoing physical therapy) so I wanted to gift it to a coworker. I was told I can only transfer it to someone in the household. I am a single mother of one so there is no one else in my household who can take the membership. Since then I've tried to file a chargeback with my bank, which I lost because Premier submitted an old contract that I signed and they changed the date on it. I've since asked for copies of all of the contracts I've signed including the contract that shows the transfer agreement and CREDIT I have on file with them. Premier has not responded to my calls, texts, or emails regarding the documents that I need since now I have filed a small claims complaint against them. I've had to file a complaint with the better business bureau. And today I reached out to Fort Wayne PD to escort me to retrieve copies of my contracts. After all of this I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone, nor do I want the credit or transfer. I will fight them for the $2779 I paid them. It is wrong to withhold contracts that I signed. It is wrong to keep money that I paid without providing service that was paid for. It is extremely unprofessional the way the business is handling this situation. As a school working with children encouraging their wellbeing they should know that forcing a child to do something they do not want to do is not ok. Especially if the program is too difficult and does not interest them. They should take that into consideration when asking us to commit to a year long program for $2779. They should also take into consideration the household when they agree to transfer a membership. They should also not deny copies of documents signed especially when there is a dispute like this. And they certainly should not think it's okay to keep a large amount of money knowing the program did not work out. My daughter's membership did not prevent them from taking on new students so there is no reason they can't make an exception. There is no reason I should have to reach out to the police department to escort me to retrieve copies of documents that I need and have the right to. My opinion is strictly aimed at the persons in charge of running the business. The instructors were amazing with my daughter but unfortunately I cannot support this business and I bid you caution if you consider it. Read the other complaints against them on the BBB website as I am not the only one they stole from. UPDATE: Within hours of posting this review I finally got a response from the business owner. Only because I posted this review.
