I have absolutely loved my experience with FWSSC!…read more I have played two different sports in two different seasons and it has been an incredible experience. I opted to go with a small group so we had the opportunity to meet new people. I have made so many friends and made tons of fun memories. It is a great way to meet new people in the area and also get some exercise (I mostly just enjoy the social part)! They have plenty of options when it comes to sports and they are continuing to grow. Chris and his staff are amazing and always drumming up fun ideas. If you are looking for a great time and to get involved in something, join FWSSC!

I was looking for a way to make some new friends and do something to get out of the house and FWSSC…read moredid exactly that. Leagues are 7 weeks long with games one day a week. When all is said and done it comes down to about $10 a week and you get a tshirt. I played soccer and kickball, both times signing up as a "free agent" in a small group with a few friends. My small group was then added to a team. I was nervous to sign up initially, but having games as the center and an "after party" at a partnering bar makes it easy get some exercise, make some friends, and get out and about. My only complaint was a lack of referees at the games- I'm just there for fun but some people can take things a little to serious... such is life I suppose.

Old faithful here! very good gym downtown. They have a dungeon downstairs real nice weight room!…read moreIt's swell and a good place to get swole. Nice older equipment down in the dungeon and some newer. They got it all here. Upstairs is a nice room for the runners and elliptical enthusiast who like a nice treadmill or an elliptical machine. Nice little weight room off to the side of the runners area. Nice for older folks who like machine weights or those with skinnier arms or just not as strong. Parking isn't bad either across the street, you can watch your car while running the treadmill and listening to your earpods. I like to pop in my earbuds or iPods that is and off to runners land. Very nice gym, some dues to pay each month unless you get it free through work or being broke... I just like to go! bring your pre workout powder drink mix and some creatine and you're in business big guy. Make sure to chase down a good Protein drink after an intense lifting season along with some Glutamine or something.

Originally trained here as a kid under Master Kerry Roudebush back in the late 90s for over 4…read moreyears. Came back earlier this year to have my 6yr old and 9yr old get involved. Master Kerry is still teaching the same techniques with the same quality as he was 20+ years ago. His focus not just on technique, but the significance of the traditions of Tang Soo Do - discipline, respect, hard work, attention to detail, and a lifestyle that reflect the attitude of the art - sets him and this school apart. My boys have already grown significantly in the way they speak to adults, elders and teachers and their mindset towards challenges. It was so refreshing I rejoined myself! In a culture that struggles with the concepts of merit, hard work, respect and commitment, what C. S. Kim Karate offers is a true example of what can be gained when all those things are focused on and developed. This isn't like your run of the mill karate school - this is a place of transformation both physically and mentally. Do yourself, your kids and your family a favor, join C.S. Kim Karate, commit to the training, and let the results speak for themselves.

I ran the marathon this year, choosing to do Fort 4 Fitness because of it being a flat course and…read moreit was the cheapest marathon in Indiana. These are my learnings: -Fort 4 Fitness hosts four races that morning: marathon, half marathon, 10k, and 4-miler. Each race starts at a different time, though there will be an overlap with the running groups. -The marathon was a two-loop course, which I'll admit was not fun as I began the second loop to run through the exact same course. The loop takes you from downtown to a golf course to neighborhoods until you reach downtown again, ending at the baseball stadium. -Running through the neighborhoods is the most enjoyable. The community does a nice job supporting the runners/keeping them distracted. You can tell this is a fun day for everyone, not just the runners. Would I run the marathon again? No, but I would recommend this race most for a 10k runner or a half marathoner, especially if you don't want to fight the crowds as you do with larger races.

A car ran into a bicyclist!…read more And now you have it. The big scoop! What you will not find in the newspaper's story, or even the event's website. Someone had sneakily pulled their car along side of a parking area. Then covered the driver's side with bails of hay. When the bicyclist came by the car jumped up on the curb and stopped him from rolling over on the sidewalk (see pictures for proof). This first event had over 1000 people register. The newspapers where out in force, along with the promoters of this first event. There is not much more that can be added. Except that five years ago. If someone rode an old bicycle. They where called a bum. Nowadays they are in the height of fashion. *YELP* Could you please "unblock" me? So this way I can upload these pics on this event. I know that I have about 750 plus? pictures. But if you look at the Fort 4 Fitness marathon 1/2 marathon. I have also got about 35? pics that aren't in the sponsors website.
