A great motorcycle dealership is essential to the riding experience, both for safety and investment protection. Tom Wood dealerships are known in this region as being top-notch, and Tom Wood Powersports is no exception. I've never purchased a motorcycle from Tom Wood Powersports, but after visiting the dealership and interacting with its staff, I'd highly consider it for my next purchase (it's only a matter of time, right?). I purchased my current bike in late-2020. When it came time for the break-in service, my dealership's service department required me to drop the bike off with them for three days. Three days? Instead of acquiescing to their demands, I called Tom Wood Powersports. Their service department had an appointment within several days - and they completed the service in just over an hour. Not only was the service done well, but it was inexpensive! I was extremely impressed! During my wait, I decided to check out the sales floor. Despite telling the sales staff I was just browsing and not in the market for another purchase, I was given the royal treatment. They were quick to provide information on multiple bikes that caught my eye. Tom Wood Powersports also carries a wide array of accessories - basically anything a rider could want. Tom Wood Powersports gets an enthusiastic two-finger wave. Zoom zoom!

I bought an Indian motorcycle and was relying on the dealership to help me. Massive mistake. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to another dealer, which I regret very much not doing even though I could tell from my first visit they were bad. I have purchased dozens of cars, RV's, boats and motorcycles. I should know better. Kick myself everyday for trusting this dealer. I do not like the bike, they put through hell on my trade, etc etc etc. Lafayette, Louisville, Cincy. The drive would have been worth it.

I've been coming to this business on and off for many years. They used to be a huge dealer for jet…read moreski's, snowmobiles, ATV's and other big boy toy types of fun outdoors items. But over the past few years they seem to now deal more in used, no more new, toys, and inventory has decreased a lot. I assume to fit the volatile market for these types of things. Their service dept has done some repairs to some of my toys in the past, and they did a good job at a fair price. They are located out in the country in the middle of farm field's but have a nice operation with a good repair shop, and nice showroom with lots of accessories for sale. You will notice all the off road toys lined up sitting outside when driving by, making them easy to find, haha. Just pull back their driveway and park. The staff were always friendly and knowledgeable and seemed eager to help. They can also send a truck and trailer to pick up tour broken down unit, if you have no way to haul it to them. I think this might be about a $50 fee, which could be negotiable, depending on repairs needed. Not a huge location and not heavily stocked as the large Indy stores, but if you're in the area they're worth checking into. You might find a great deal on the fun off road toy you have been seeking.

They pointed at the wall where they were, but would not assist me. They acted like I wasn't even there. So I went back to the showroom to wait to sign my papers. I didn't know anything about helmets. I went back into the parts area to ask about the luggage I ordered, and they were showing a young lady all the helmets and telling her all about them. Pissed me off. I had just spent over 10K, and that's the way I was treated. Then I was told that when my luggage was installed, they would call me and tell me the Ryker was ready. So I get the call that it was ready. I had to get an Uber to get me there so I could ride back. I arrived, and the luggage wasn't installed, and they didn't even have it yet. That was the whole point. So I have to make another 25-mile trip to get back there. No one has mentioned the service I need or talked to me about scheduling any. I'm on my own after buying from them, but you would think they would want the revenue from selling me a helmet and getting my maintenance there. Nope, that's not happening. I got a great helmet for 300 at Cycle Gear (they explained helmets in detail) and will find a shop to do the maintenance that I'm not able to do. I learned another lesson. My salesman Scott was okay, but I think he gets overwhelmed. Sincerely, RobertZ Dissappointed
