If they cannot respond to an email, I don't want to hound them about what is happening with my car, if it was at their shop... If you call, and nobody answers, there is No recording. I called 2 times. I do not have Millions of dollars, but enough to build a Hot Rod. But, I don't believe I will be taking my car here here. I don't want to talk to a Sales Guy on the phone to have them embarrass me, about not opening my Checkbook wide enough. And, judging by other reviews, and Centerfolds in magazines, it appears they cater to the super wealthy and that is not me. Other shops are friendly, willing to help, respond to email's, overall very pleasant. They have given me quotes for front and back frame stubs, complete frame, and Opportunity to bring my car to their shop (I won't say who). They made me feel I was important, even though I am not. They have earned my business with some very easy customer service. I will tell you what I really like... I will give them One EXTRA star for building some extreme Awesome rides! Maybe you guys just need a web Manager and email responder, or some basic classes in customer service. I will give you the benefit of the doubt for now...

After he completed my brake job he showed me exactly what was wrong with my brake pads. I learned a lot through this experience and he was very knowledgeable. The best part was his fair pricing. I got a better deal than what the dealership quoted me. I will definitely go back again. :)

It was time for my Honda's 100,000 mile timing belt change. This sounds like one of those things that Honda people just know. Timing belts, come to find out, aren't cheap! Being on a budget, I did my homework. Prices ranged from $700 to $1,200. Good gawd, I'm not wanting to buy a new kidney. My roomie, a retired VW mechanic, told me about James and Garage 808. He uses him exclusively for his Honda. I was wowed by the price that I was quoted. I called and set up my appointment and was very happy with the service. James is very nice and even showed me the Honda parts that he was going to use. Again, being the chick in the scenario, I have no idea what the parts were but I appreciated him trying to educate me. It has been about a month now and I've had no problems. In the mean time, I have referred two other Honda owners to James and I'm sure that I will continue to do so. Nice job, James. You're a good man and a great mechanic!

I typically go to the one in Springfield, as I've never had a bad experience there. They are absolutely wonderful. However, they didn't have the part I needed in stock. They found it at two Eugene locations. This being one of them. The reason I chose this one was because they are open later than any of the others, and this happened at like 8:30 at night. I walked in here, told them I had an order on hold, and they found it. My name is pretty memorable. Lol. Mostly because it's ridiculously long and pretty unique. So they found it, produced the part I needed, and I paid them. Not a terribly complicated experience. I was set to get in and get out, so I could go over to Wendy's for a frosty before they closed. Figured we were right there, we might as well stop. Lol. The customer service was good. I honestly don't remember the guy's name who helped me. But he answered all of my questions, found my order easily, and took care of everything. I love that I can buy a part here, and return the old one for recycling or whatever it is they do with them, to any other AutoZone locations. So I bought it here, which was quite a ways out of my way to get it that night, I was able to go to the one in Springfield the following day and return the old one for a refund and they could recycle it. I love that, because one trip out of the way was honestly plenty for me. I would be annoyed if I had to return the old part to this location. Like I said, it was a quick trip in and out, but with good customer service. None of it was terribly memorable, but I had no complaints either. They achieved the goal and it made me happy. I would definitely return if I were in this area more often. But I rarely am, so I'll stick to the Springfield location as my go-to AutoZone location. Review 104 of 2017.
