Great service from Alex. He was professional and prompt about our bee issue. Alex took the time to look over where possible entries were in the house and explained thoroughly his process and method to remedy the situation. He was a great guy to talk to and loved sharing his experiences while he was trying to help us. Overall, if there's something that needs to be removed in the neighborhood, who you going to call? I went on to Yelp in Search of an exterminator. I got several responses back but I chose Trips because he was quick to respond. I had a lot of questions and he was straight and to the point. We set an appointment for them to come out, but then life happened and I had to make some adjustment the day of as well as the time of my appointment. Alex was super flexible with me, which made my life much easier. Once he got here, he was very nice, very informative. He did a thorough inspection and treated what needed to be treated. I happily paid my initial treatment amount and he went on his merry way. So far, all around very satisfied with the pest control company I chose. read more

I saw some termite poop on my desk around 2 years ago. I didn't know which company to go to for handling this job. Fortunately, I met my brother in law last week who had the same problem. He recommended Mr.Alex from this company as he was satisfied with Alex's job. I met with him and found think to be a very friendly person. He gave me a reasonable price to fix this problem. He did a great professional job. This is why I rate this company with 5 stars and would recommend him to anyone else who needs to get this job done. Thank you so much Alex. - Hendra Trisno read more

I used Trips Extermination for localized drywood termite treatment and subterranean termite treatment and I have to say they are a joy to work with. Alex is a delight and very responsive. Hes a very down to earth guy and a very honest one. Hes definitely working hard and deserves more business so I highly recommend people using Trips' service. In addition to Alex being great to work with, the service was good. He used boracare for drywood termite and used Termidor for the subterranean termites and he explained everything so a layman like myself can understand. And the service came at a very competitive price. So good service and great price. What else can you ask for. read more

Had problems with the termite company that originally treated our new house, so contacted Trips. Alex came out the next day and provided a free inspection/estimate. He provided several options and we decided to go with the local treatment at this time. His price is fair and he worked really hard to make sure we were satisfied. Hopefully, we won't see any more termites from at least the treated area. Fingers crossed...will update review if they come back, but don't expect them to based on the work he did. I would recommend Trips and will keep their number for future pest/termite issues. Thanks Alex! read more

We found out that there were birds living in our attic. We contacted different exterminators but it will take them a while to get to our property. Alex responded quickly. He inspected the property thoroughly and pointed out the issue. He resolved it the same day. He ensured everything was addressed and came back the following day to clean and sanitize the attic. We are truly happy with his service. read more

Alex is the person you want to call for all your pest issues. We had crazy bird mite issue (never about them before). They were pretty hard to kill. Had to do weekly sprays (whole home) and eventually fogging to get rid of them. Alex showed up, got rid of pigeons nest that brought bird mites, sealed the space to prevent future nesting and pretty much sprayed whole home roof for any possible infestation. He had to do multiple visits, never hesitated, went above and beyond to give us peace of mind. 5 stars for him. read more

He did an awesome job. Set up traps in the problem areas. Sealed off all the little entry ways to the attic and garage. While he was here he actually was able to catch 2 mice. He was really communicative. He texted us during appropriate times. He was very knowledgable and reasonable. He cleaned up after himself. Definitely took his time. I think he was here almost 3 hours. He included a 6 month warranty so basically he'll come out every week or every other week and check everything for you. I would recommend him to anyone. I have an older home so I had a couple problem areas just because of the age of the house. read more

We have a small guest house that showed signs of termites and we were worried about how extensive the damage could be. We messaged on yelp on a Sunday, and didn't expect for anyone to get back to us until Monday. In a matter of 1 hr, on a Sunday, we received a reply message and an appointment confirmation for next day. Alex came over and did a full inspection with recommendations , treatment options and quoted us. Alex's expertise & knowledge made us feel confident that we had selected a reliable company to meet our needs. Alex completed the service on the same day. Alex was timely and efficient and we will highly recommend his services. Thank you again! read more

We found a few bees in my daughter's room over two days, we called around for some quotes but many of the companies would not schedule an appointment if there were no signs of activity (example: bees entering/exiting from holes in the house, a hive, or a ball of bees attached to the exterior of the house). We could not find any activity around the exterior but we still had a problem with bees getting into the house, Alex and his team were the only ones to offer to come do an in person inspection and offer a quote and a solution. Alex checked in the crawl space above my daughter's room and determined that a hive had not been built and that there was not a swarm of bees, but did find some points of entry that the bees could have entered through, so he offered a quote to seal up and fix these issues to hopefully prevent any more bees from entering. read more

Alex is amazing! I called frazzled about having bees in our restroom. His wife got me in touch with Alex and he said he'd be right over. He was punctual, and got right to work. Great service, unbeatable price! Alex arrived on time, friendly, very professional and knowledgeable. He advised what services I needed and gave me a quote. When he arrived to perform the services recommended he kept me apprised of events as they transpired. My attic cover was falling apart and Alex fixed it. Best customer service ever! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed! Deff calling Alex for any future needs I may have. Alex did a great job with the termite inspection, repair, and house fumigation project! Alex came out to do inspection next day, and he was able to complete repairs within the week. He was also able to schedule and complete fumigation very quickly to meet escrow schedule. He showed up on time every day and communicate any concerns at every step. Alex is very friendly and honest, and I highly recommend him! read more

Yes, Alex was prompt. I requested an inspection only, which he did. The problem was that he did not do a great job in the inspection, as later told by our building maintenance personnel. He should have inspected in the space between my ceiling and the roof tiles of the apartment building where i heard the noise before he left. He had access and approval to do this. The pictures that were taken by him were somewhat vague. So, now I will not be reimbursed the $125 inspection fee from the apartment property management which was charged by his company. I read more

Alex was amazing, he was kind, knowledgeable and went above to rid our chimney of bees.

We noticed that birds were starting to nest in a gap in our rooftop, and we could hear them scurrying around in the attic from our bedroom. We reached out for help - Alex came over on short notice, removed the nest before it was completed and sealed the area off with mesh. He was efficient, informative, and thorough - after a go-around of our house, we found other places in which birds would be able to climb into the rooftop, and sealed them all off, as well. He also was able to come by again when we thought the mesh was starting to come loose and reaffix it. He even applied bug repellant around the perimeter of our house as a bonus! Highly recommended. read more

Great service and personality. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exterminator.

I had reached out to Alex because I found termite droppings in one of our rooms. He was very responsive and came out the next day for a free inspection/quotation. Pricing is very reasonable so I scheduled a day for him to come treat the infected area and other areas he found during inspection. He also patched up other areas around our home and painted all within a reasonable time frame. I highly recommend Alex. He is responsive, polite, honest and a hard working one man team. read more

I have experienced more than a few extermination companies not returning calls/inquiries. Trips, on the other hand, was extremely responsive and gave me multiple, next-day appointment options. Alex showed up on time, was very courteous, and thorough. Fortunately, no sign of termites or damage were found. That being the case, there were no high pressure sales tactics to purchase services. A less honest company could have told me that I had termites and/or damage, and try to sell me tenting/fumigation, etc. i highly recommend Trips and Alex Esquivel for your extermination needs. read more

While dealing with flood damage, we discovered that we had extensive termite damage in the walls of our home's den. I have never delt with a situation like this before and I came to Yelp for help in finding a company that could help us out. The reviews about Trips Exterminating were accurate. Alex came out a couple of hours later (on a Sunday) and quickly surveyed the damage. We received the bad news, that we were dealing with the worst situation when dealing with termites, but he provided solutions that were affordable and we went forward with the work. Not only did he treat the home for termites but he also spot replaced the damaged wood that the termites had destroyed. Alex went above and beyond spending hours and hours to do the job right. He even cleaned up the debris and made everytrhing look nice again. If you're looking for a local reputable company, give Trips a call right now. read more

Quality of work: 5 Timeliness: 5 Cleaned up after job: 5 Wore booties: 5 Explained repairs and word completed: 5 Alex is a trustworthy hard working professional, and takes pride in his work. He treated our attic for termite prevention and also one exterior area. I also asked him if he could power wash our roof so he came back in a couple of days and not only washed the roof but some of our siding and driveway without being asked, all at a reasonable price. And when the outlet stopped working that he was using, he stayed to problem shoot and we figured that the garage GFCI outlet had tripped. All good! Will use again when needed. read more

After getting 3 estimates and doing a TON of research on the internet, I chose trips exterminating to rid my house of dry wood termites. Alex was great! On time, very detail oriented and thorough. He not only treated all the wood in my house for termites but also repaired a broken board in the attic I was not aware of, did a full pest control for the stupid crickets we have been plagued with, and even added a board to a saggy area of my patio cover that made him nervous!! ( no charge for the board) there is a full 1 year warranty and the option to renew it for another year. I would definitely recommend trips exterminators for any bug problems you have. read more
