My solar panels were not producing the same kilo watts a day as when they were installed. I thought perhaps they needed to be cleaned. Sure enough, they were covered with a layer of dirt -dust. Looked at reviews of various solar cleaning companies and read all of the five-star reviews from Uptown Solar Cleaning in Upland and was very impressed. I called and Victor, the owner of the company, he stated he was available to clean my panels the next day, along with my neighbor, who also wanted his cleaned. Victor arrived the next day as scheduled. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. I quickly knew I made the right call as he explained his cleaning process and how meticulous he was going to be. Suffice it to say, I was truly impressed with this young man's energetic attitude and work ethic! Really hate leaving this review because it was a positive experience at first but there has been zero communication after. We had bird proofing done months ago and we're super thrilled with how it turned out. We were assured that if the pigeons broke into the panels that Victor would come back out and repair it(this was about a month after it had been installed). He told us he would be able to come out a few weeks later but never showed up and never relied to my calls or text messages. That was the end of June. He got back to me and said he could come by beginning of August and never showed up and has not returned my calls or texts. You may want to consider using another company for your bird proofing needs. read more

I called Uptown Solar Cleaners on Monday 6/28/21 and cleaning service was performed on Wednesday 6/30/21. Victor who scheduled my appointment and who came and cleaned the panels was polite and courteous. He confirmed the appointment a day in advance and arrived on time. Our panels had not been cleaned in over 6 months and were pretty dirty. (See before photos) Prior to cleaning, my panels were producing 32.47 kWh the day prior, after the cleaning, the panels were producing 36.25 and 2 days after 36.94. Victor took his time to make sure he cleaned all the bee pollen, which is not an easy job. The panels looked as if they were brand new when he was finished. He used a soft water system that not only created a spot free finish but used little water. I highly recommend Uptown Solar Cleaners (626-543-4947). read more

Victor did an awesome job cleaning my solar panels. I've been cleaning my solar on monthly basis by just hosing it down but didn't realize that I was doing more damage in that sense because of the minerals in the water.
