I can't say enough about the team and owners of Tiger Termite. A couple months ago we found some activity in a kitchen cabinet and chose Tiger who already had good reviews to do an inspection. Paul was very warm and thorough and we liked him immediately. There was lots of damage in our old home and lots of wood repair was suggested. We went ahead and had that done first. In fact our patio had been so damaged over the years we had them redo the whole top, a few sides and after, a decent repaint. The wood replacement and painting work done by Raul was top notch and everything he did was with great care even the tiles above wood on the roof. The fumigation went well and the workers were really fast. I like that they use a gas that doesn't leave residue so prep and clean up wasn't too difficult. We are a senior couple and we were a bit nervous for the disruption but the Tiger team took time to answer lots of questions and concerns and we appreciate that. I had to get a termite inspection done on my house as part of a refi. Tiger Termite had done the inspection when we first purchased the house, I called them to come out and give the house a clean bill of health. As it happened, my next door neighbor had recently removed a tree that had done damage to my roof, unknown when we purchased the house. Time was limited since we needed to close escrow by month's end. Tiger Termite was able to get a contractor out to affect repairs to the roof and write off on the inspection within a couple of days, before the end of the month and in time to finish the escrow. The work was great and the hole on my roof's overhang was completely repaired. Next time I need a termite inspection, tenting, or work, I'll definitely be calling them back. read more

I had a great experience with this company. They were available within a week of me calling to schedule the initial appointment. They showed up to our rental property on time as promised and their prices were fair. Our property was under renovation so we were working with a very specific timeline on getting everything done. They made sure they fit our schedule and were very thorough. We had a bunch of junk in the garage so they were unable to treat one area in the initial treatment. A few weeks later we found evidence of termites in the area they couldn't treat and they came right back out and took care of it free of charge (handled under the initial warranty for the work we had done). They provided service with a smile and assured me that if I had any more issues they'd be right back out. I appreciated their clear communication and prompt response. Hired them to do the termite inspection on my home.  They found termites on the trim of a column on my porch.  The quote for the repair was $795.  I called someone else to come out and got a second opinion.  There were termites and termite damage on the trim, however they said the trim pieces were the only things with termites and if we replaced them the termites would be gone.  He said it was about $20 worth of material including a quart of paint.  He recommended we do it ourselves.  I called Paul and he could not justify the cost for the expensive repair quote.  He said $495 was for the chemicals to treat the column (which he didn't see any visual signs of termites on) and $300 for replacing the trim pieces.  I think this quote was much too high for the scope of work required.  I'm ok with paying an honest price for a professional's work, but this was just over and above unreasonable.  I am so sick of being gouged every time I need work done read more

We used Tiger Termite to tent our house for termites. We had 5 different quotes, 4 from other companies and this company was $500-$800 less then the others!! They gave us the option to spot treat or tent and we felt they did an extremely thorough job with the inspection. Other companies did a subpar job inspecting and used scare tactics to try and get us to sign with them that day, with Tigermite we felt no pressure and liked how they gave us options with the pros and cons. After deciding to tent they came over that same day to review what we had to do to prepare. I was nervous about being broken into since I had heard about that recently on the news. They offered to leave a device inside our house that was motion censored and would emit a loud alarm if there was any motion detected. This made me feel much more at ease. I am a Realtor and needed a re-inspection on a listing of mine in Chino Hills before the 1 year warranty period was up.
