    BBQ Sundae

This place is Solid... I had the barbecue sundae like the dessert and it's very filling. It has brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, mac & cheese, all together with little cornbread underneath

The vibe was not what I expected. Plenty of top shelf liquor available which was a huge plus. I wanted to try the cornbread and magically it appeared. We had shrimp cocktail to start, brisket tacos and we were accidentally given chocolate cheesecake (not sure). All dishes were pretty good.

We were driving from Hopkinsville to Murray and were ready for lunch when we spotted Triplets along the side of the road. I saw BBQ and had to take a quick online check of their menu since I don't eat meat. I saw Gouda Mac & cheese and we headed right in! We got there literally minutes before the lunch crowd hit. We were greeted, seated and order taken promptly. The place is really cute inside and spacious. The waitress was very accommodating and friendly. I ordered a veg plate with the Mac and cheese, broccoli salad and corn nuggets. It was all positively delicious! My husband had the taco trio AND the brisket sandwich with Mac & cheese. We left very happy with full bellies. We definitely recommend it, and would return any time we are in the area.

Only in Kentucky ....van you find a BBQ joint made out of a grain mill. U love the ingenuity. As I was exploring Hopkinsville, I Yelped BBQ joints and chose Triplett's over in Cadiz. It stayed open later than the one I looked at in Hopkinsville and was rated higher than the other one. I went with the Pitmasters, which is a sampling of all 3 of their meats and 3 sides. The three meats are pork, brisket, and chicken. What's weird is that this is a BBQ joint that doesn't serve ribs. Very odd and quirky indeed! Guess what else was odd and quirky...the meat! The brisket was a mix of good and bad with really good or too tough. The pulled pork was consistent. And the chicken was just blah...I couldn't finish it. It was a cut up breast and did not gi well with the sauces. This was a good example of why you skip the chicken and go for the more flavorful pork, brisket, ribs, and even sausage. The two best items on my plate were the mac and cheese and the beans. The mac and cheese was made with gouda and smoked. For a really mild, and cheesy flavor. The beans were homemade with a good mix of sweet and smoky. The slaw was the driest slaw I had ever had but I added some BBQ sauce to it and fixed it. There are 2 sauces - sweet and smoky and tangy and spicy. The tangy and spicy was the far superior sauce with a good bit of flavor. The sweet and smoky is made from a Dr. Pepper base. That sounds amazing but this is the 3rd BBQ sauce I've had made from Dr. Pepper. Each one has been very mild and almost tasteless. Out of the 3 though, this one was the best. Sweet tea was refreshingly sweet! Overall, there is some good and not so good here. The beans and mac and cheese was way better than any meat I had, which is troubling for a BBQ joint. The service was nice and though I sort of wanted to bump them up to a 4 because of the service, it was just a balancing act of really good and not so good. And I just looked at my bill and noticed it was $28 sealed the deal for a 3.

We are from Kansas City and the brisket here was AMAZING. We stopped on our way home from a road trip and the only thing I'm disappointed about is that we don't live closer. It is inside an old silo which was cool, it was clean, we got there around 2 so there was no rush of people. There was a little stage and I would have loved to be there on a night they had live music. My husband and I shared the brisket sandwich with pimento cheese, and that was a mistake because we had to share. It was SO tender melt in your mouth fall apart all the things and no big chunks of fat, just the right amount of crispy char bits on the ends. The fries were delicious and the Ranch was out of this world. Even the kids meals were good, my 4 year old got the octopus hot dog and we were all fighting for it, it was deep fried or something that made it crispy. I will plan a trip just to make sure we go thru this little town. A must try!

I was impressed. I don't know anything about the area or even how the locals pronounce Cadiz here (message me, let me know!), but while passing through on a very long road trip, this was a massive upgrade amidst an ocean of sad highway fast food places. As a transient visitor, this place was way better than what I was expecting, especially so close to the highway. An annex to what seems like another great restaurant, this place has a well-considered casual atmosphere with lots of thoughtful details in the construction of the space (even the way the designer differentiated the seating areas was clever). It's got the feel of a movie set in a roadhouse. Service was good, the team was helpful and kind. The menu is also well-considered. I'm surprised and impressed they restricted themselves to pulled pork, brisket, and chicken. Their sides are fairly clever and interesting, doing a nice job of balancing familiar and fresh. The meats are cooked quite well. Two different sauces - one mustard based, the other sweet and smoky. Personally, I'd prefer a little less sweet and a little more smoke, but that's just my preference after years of KC barbecue. They're both respectable enough that everyone in your group no matter where they're from should be able to find something to like about one of the sauces. Would be great to have another vegetable option or two for balancing out all the rest of the decadence, but it's barbecue and we're lucky to have one option that isn't a potato. But speaking of, love the fries. Congrats to the folks who made this place possible. It's good in general, but downright impressive for what it is and where it is.

Brisket melt with the top piece of toast off.

We've been coming to Triplets on road trips through Kentucky since it opened. Worth planning your travel around with good food, a wide-enough menu to satisfy a mix of appetites and reasonable prices. Fall-off-the-fork brisket and a variety of ways to enjoy it. I had the brisket melt without bacon - I knew it had Texas Toast but no idea I was ordering a double decker. Pimento cheese, spicy onion rings, yummy brisket. Took the top off and attacked it with a fork and knife. Next time, I may order it with one piece of toast on the bottom. (We don't eat pork but from the comments around us bet it's as good or better.)

First time here with family. We ordered a nice amount of food but I had the chili Mac which was delightful and super filling and my wife had the bbq sundae which was similar to the chili Mac but with added pickles and the corn bread underneath everything in the plate. I think this was the quietest restaurant I have been in in a long time. There was a stage for a band or dancing and a bar so it may be upbeat later in the evening but at lunch it was peaceful. The service was perfect ensuring we were tended too promptly and brought out the kids food first which is perfect. We will be back on our next visit.

Great road trip stop! Probably the best melt in your mouth with crisp burnt ends brisket we've ever had and the smoked gouda mac deserves an honorable mention! Loved the novelty of eating in an old silo and Gabby was so charming and attentive!

This is a neat little BBQ place on the way from Clarksville to Land Between the Lakes (LBL). Went kayaking at Elbow Bay to check out the fall colors. It was awesome. On the way way I wanted a beer and made a snack. Stopped here before getting on the highway. Grab a Bluemoon bottle and 2x chicken tacos. The service was good. Sat outside, had my beer and taco and hit the road. Easy off and easy on. Meat was very tender and good. I recommend and will definitely be back!

Ordered the BBQ Sundae. This is not a dessert. It is amazing. The restaurant is located inside a grain bin. Very unique.

We've been to Harper House a couple of times, many moons ago when it was located in…read moreHopkinsville...but never made it up to Cadiz when they relocated until last November. I didn't take any photos during that trip for this review and since everything about Harper House said, "Come on back and get some more." we decided to get back up there for another round. Reservations were for 7pm and we got there a tad early, but were seated promptly and probably right at 7pm...I wasn't checking my watch. We started off with a basket of their fried pickles (last time we started with the Group Grazing Board, but we had more in our party). They came out from the kitchen quickly and there's a really good portion for the price. They weren't as crispy as they could be, but they were really tasty. They came with a house made ranch dipping sauce that was just what we expected...ranch sauce. They did bring out some of their house cornbread as well with strawberry butter. I'm not a fan of cornbread all in all unless it comes in muffin form with cheese and jalapenos to eat with some pinto beans...but this was good. Had a hint of sweetness to it as well, which went well with the strawberry butter. My wife ordered the 7oz center cut filet mignon but she subsituted the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts for Harper House Mac-n-Cheese and Crispy Red Potatoes. Initially, the filet came out slightly underdone, but they quickly made it right. She really liked it, said that it was exactly what a filet should be...and the peppercorn demi glaze made it that much better. I ordered the ribeye and kept the sides as is (baked potato & thin cut crispy onion strings). This was a super flavorful cut with an insanely rich, bold flavor and just the right amount of fat marbled throughout the cut. If you live right there in Cadiz and haven't been to Harper House, head over there to grab a bite. If you live down I24, you owe it to yourself to make the 30 minute drive and give it a shot. It's well worth the trip.

we went there for my wife's birthday and made reservations. The waitress was great but saw my first…read morered flag when what I wanted to order they were out of and this was 6pm on a Thursday night and not that busy. Second red flag the reservation ask if it was a special occasion and I put it was my wife's birthday it was news to our waitress. Ordered food and appetizer. Food came before appetizer and it is normal for them to serve cornbread. no cornbread. Wife's food was over cooked salmon and greasy potatoes and cold green beans. Mine was over priced watery potatoes pie. We got cornbread Togo and cheese cake to replace fried pickles that never came. Plus 10 in coupons for future use. No manager ever came over and I filled out review online and never heard back. Afraid this place will not survive.
