This place lives up to the name, amazing! We all got their brisket sandwiches and they were so good Definitely should check this place out if in the area.

Great BBQ joint! Came here for lunch after kayaking around Ginger Bay (LBL). It was 12:30 on a Saturday and got pretty busy! I had sweet tea 1/3 tank of ribs, mac&cheese and green beans with Texas toast. My wife has the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. We both finished our plates and were thrilled with what we had. It all tasted fresh, and both were good portion sizes. The staff was very prompt with taking our orders, re-filling drinks and very nice overall. Two sauces on the table; hot and mild. Mild mild as more like a marinara and the hot and more like a weak mild. But the meat was really tender. Bathrooms were mostly clean. Neat interior decor and the prices were fair. Not a lot of restaurant options in the area, but this one is worth checking out. I recommend and will be back next time I'm out and around LBL!

If you want the best burger of your life this is the place to go! My boyfriend and I frequent here and have never been disappointed, the owner and staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the bbq is definitely the best around too!

We really enjoyed our lunch. There were 4 in my group and we each ordered something different. The food was delicious! Our server was super friendly and even brought us a sample of the Burgoo so that we could try it. It was delicious! My friend ordered it with a grilled cheese! We also had the Pulled Pork Nachos, the Smoked Hamburger and the Pulled Pork Sandwich & fried Okra. We cleaned our plates! Definitely would go back!

I went here a couple of weekends ago in a group. The pulled pork sandwich was really good, as were the tater tots. Would recommend.

The service is great, the steak melted in my mouth and everyone should try this place…read more The "flower pot" home made bread is scrumptious & my first time tasting strawberry butter, so yummy! The ambiance is "Cracker Barrel meets old dusty floral decor," which in my humble opinion is a very "cluttered and clausterphobic" atmosphere, but it is still worth going to visit. The dust layers on all the fake florals was just a little hard on my allergies but the shops & restaurant food was worth it.

We had been here over the summer, and stopped by with our daughter to share the experience. Service is always good, and some of the food is great. It seemed like the 1 inch porkchop was not as good as the gigantic one I had last time, but I coykd be crazy. My husband woukd say I was crazy, so there is that. My daughter loved her fish. The mashed potatoes with white gravy were so good, I ate those first. Hubby asked for a garden salad with salmon. He got a spinach salad with salmon. Our server brought it out and offered to have it remade, but the salad looked wonderful and he really enjoyed it. Kudos to the chef for standing his ground haha. We were too full for dessert. Highly recommend, for the experience and the cute period clothing. Get reservations though! We have to wait over an hour on our first visit. We made reservations the 2nd time and we're seated within 10 minutes.

We showed up right at opening, five o'clock, and there was already a long line of people waiting to get in. Make a reservation. I'm glad we did. We had a party of four and was seated at a low top that had a view of the kitchen. Lively open space with an open kitchen you can see both the cook line and the prep area. The cornbread was the unexpected standout of the entire meal. Mildly sweet, savory, light and fluffy all the way through. I was not expecting a side dish to steal the show, but it did. We also ordered the double stuffed burrata, and the bread it came with deserves its own mention. Crisp, lightly toasted, with just a touch of char. It paired beautifully with the creamy burrata and the accompaniments on the plate. For my entree I went with the grilled Caesar salad and added shrimp. It ended up being the perfect call. The portion was generous, the shrimp addition made it feel like a real meal. The romaine had this excellent crisp char on it that added so much. The dressing was heavenly. One of the best Caesar dressings I have had in a while. My favorite parts of the night had nothing to do with what was on my plate. We got to watch chef Sara Bradley working the kitchen with her team during service, and it was clear why this place has the reputation it does. I'd love to come back and try the prix fixe tasting menu next time. Overall this was a great experience from start to finish. And a must stop or destination when driving through KY.
