    Koi pond

We didn't eat at the restaurant but we went around the settlement and it was really neat. We enjoyed the gardens and just strolling through. It was really nice to see the birds and the koi pond. We stopped and had 18 holes of mini golf. The course was fun and a challenge. They had some really nice shops. We got some haystack chocolates and they were really good. The staff were friendly. We will definitely be back to try the actual restaurant. This is a great place to take kiddos as well.

This place still has all the Christmas lights up and everything looks awesome!!!! We started with mozzarella sticks. My wife went with the 1 inch Pork chop with coleslaw and fries. While I went with the world famous 2 inch Pork-chop with a spinach salad and cup of chili (not my favorite). This is a Military friendly restaurant. Prices have gone up a little since last time we were here but this is an experience.

The food and service was amazing we loved all the extra attractions and picture opportunities we had. The restaurant itself was a fantastic setting. We are going back tonight to try other dishes and dessert

Shared 2" pork chop with green beans and potatoes. Great value for 2 people.

First thing to know is you pay a little extra for the experience and the ambiance. The service is great and the food is great. Christmas lights inside and out adds to the ambiance, makes great family memories. The food is generously portioned. My wife and I split a meal, she usually gets full on the bread and butter. Pork chops are their specialty and always are perfectly cooked. We make it an annual event , plan ahead , make reservations. Understand that later evenings is the most crowded due to people wanting a meal and a walk under the lights.

We have been wanting to go by patties 1880s settlement for many years now we finally got the opportunity Drew about 2 1/2 hours to get there and it was Christmas time and we got to see all the wonderful sites and sounds and explore the area, which is why I'm giving this place four stars because the atmosphere of the walk with the Christmas decorations and the whole area was definitely a five. We had a great time walking around taking pictures and seeing everything. The food itself is Three at the most. I got a hot Brown. It was OK. It was overpriced. My wife got a grilled chicken and some veggies and a baked potato and it was just OK also. Got a huge piece of lemon meringue pie, but it was mostly just meringue. No lemon not really great taste atmosphere the restaurant itself was just OK. Service was decent enough but way over price for what we got but the dealbreaker for sure is the outdoors and see the actual settlement and walk around and take pictures. That would be a nice memory for sure and that's what would bring me back one day.

Catfish dinner with baked potato tons of sour cream and butter Huge hush puppies homemade tartar and ranch

Pro tip make a reservation. We did not we waited an hour from 6 to 7. The bread was delicious. The service was very friendly. I've had a little snafu with our waitress, forgetting our appetizer which secretly I was glad because we ate way too much. She comped us a dessert to make up for it. I had the fried catfish and it was amazing and the hush puppies were large and delicious. The mashed potatoes were very different delicious they kind of tasted like smoked or steel meal. The ice cream was very creamy and thick, and the whipped cream was equally as thick and but more frosty of course we didn't like the strawberry butter we're not a sweets family we're a savory it's not that it's not good It's very good if that's what you're into. Catfish flies were huge and tender did not taste muddy at all. Good tartar sauce, homemade ranch. The tea was bad. Tasted a little fermented. So skip that. My daughter didn't like her green beans. She said they were too sweet. Again, we're not a sweet family that might be your jam. I'm thinking there's probably brown sugar in them and there was also bacon.

The place was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We had a reservation for six o'clock we arrived a little early and they seated us early. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the bread baked in a flower pot with some strawberries butter. I had the pork cutlet is was so tender you could cut it with a fork. We liked it so much we went back the next day for lunch and deserts.

My friend brought me to this restaurant while I was visiting from out of state. We got to walk around outside and it was pretty with all the lights. It was nicely decorated inside and liked the themed rooms. I was torn between the pasta and another meal. I went with the chicken linguine and it was delicious! The server was sweet and said everything is made from scratch so that explains why it was so good. Excellent plate portion as well. The terracotta pot bread was served warm and with the strawberry butter it was divine! I also like when the salad is served on cold plates. Someone near us was celebrating an anniversary so the servers were singing and they sang so beautifully!

2" Pork Chop, Baked Potato and slaw

An excellent restaurant. The decor, the servers, the whole ambiance, but the best is THE FOOD. I ordered the 2" pork chop with a baked potato and slaw. My wife had the 1" pork chop with apples and slaw. They brought out bread baked in a clay flower pot. The waitress directed us to twist the bread and out it pops. Hot, fresh and delicious. Unfortunately the meal was so filling we could not even look at the dessert menu. I most definitely am looking forward to a return.

Lord, have mercy!!!!!! Y'all when I tell you. This place is a gem. Get on the road and go now. They are known for their 2 inch pork chop. I'm not going to lie I was skeptical. I thought it would be under cooked and under seasoned. They made me a believer. Chefs kiss is abundantly deserved. Then they have the nerve to make homemade bread with strawberry butter. My mouth is watering just writing about it. I would live here if I could. I'm mad I didn't get to try the desserts because I was stuffed from dinner but the menu looked amazing. Atmosphere = 10, Service=10 and Food=10,

We absolutely loved Patti's for our first excursion. The service, food, and ambiance was very nice especially for the holidays. We had the flower pot rolls (adorable.) The strawberry butter was quite good and I never eat that stuff. The soup of the day was stuffed pepper and it was so good my sons ate it too and asked to get some to go. I had the fried fish well cooked and honestly so firm almost tasted like chicken. Baby enjoyed the mashed potatoes. The hush puppies were just ok. The kids grilled cheese was ginormous and probably would have satisfied a grown man. My son thoroughly enjoyed the chicken tenders. My husband got the popular pork chop. It was excellent and came with a tasty side sauce. The baked potato was very loaded. The whole meal was a big treat. We chased it with the chess pie and vanilla ice cream. Be sure to ask for the ice cream on the side if you want it separate as ours was served on top of the pie.

    Dining room

I went to Patti's on a week day evening. The hostess made me feel like I needed a reservation but it was not crowded and I saw many empty tables. The wait was only a few minutes and I was taken to a table in the garden room. Shrimp skewer was picked for an appetizer. The rice is for show not eating. Dinner was the 1" porkchop, baked potato and asparagus. Dessert was boat sinker pie. Service was ok, food was ok, pie was pretty good. Overall I am generous in giving a 3 stars. Price for the meal with tip was $84.

A party of 8 had dinner on a Wednesday evening. We had a 6pm reservation and were seated on time. The Christmas decorations throughout the resturant are phenomenal. The space is so unique, with numerous dinning areas including several private dinning rooms. Service was very good. My husband and I split the 2 inch pork chop dinner that came with 2 sides. We opted for the apple topping that was a $5 up charge but made the chop more enjoyable as it was kind of dry. We had the mashed potatoes that had too much pepper in them and the cole slaw that was ok. I added a spinach salad with hot bacon dressing that again was ok. The bread in a flower pot was good, especially with the strawberry butter. There was a $2 charge for splitting but they cut the chop in half and served us both a serving of mashed potatoes on our own plates. Atmosphere is top notch, service was good but the food was just OK.

    Ask the Community - Patti's 1880's Settlement

    What is dress code?

There doesn't appear to be one, but we saw people in shorts and others in more formal attire. I expect it depends on if you're there to celebrate an event or coming in off the lake for dinner. Shirt and shoes required 👌

Should we make a reservation if we are coming for lunch during the week?

Yes and no; if you just show up it's a 45 minute wait. We did not have reservations and used the time to walk around the grounds.

    Do you take reservations?

    Yes. Recommended.

Do you have a place to stay close to the restaurant?

    Yes, Pattis Inn and Suites.

Looking forward to eating in your new dining room once it reopens. Is there a estimated reopen date?

It took less time to build the Pentagon!

I just wanted to let everybody know how accommodating and wonderful Kentucky Shores Family Fun…read moreCenter and Zip Lines is. I was able to call them and get my niece and me in (who was very excited to go onto a zip line). They were very willing to open even in the winter season. We are longtime customers and have been going there for the last four years. They get better every year! Now they are remodeling and getting lots more new things at their amusement park next door. It has been incredible for my niece to grow with the park! But today we were excited to go on the zip line so we called and they were very willing to open up just for us. When we arrived, they greeted us with a smile and made sure we were both comfortable and at ease. When we were getting ready to zip line they made sure to tell my niece several different jokes as well as safety tips for the zip lines ahead. It was her first time zip lining and she is only 5 years old. The guides had her so at ease and excited to go. We were ready to climb up the ladder with the fire truck to begin our zip line adventure. And if you're like me and everybody else we love to take pictures. One of our friends was able to take pictures and videos of us as we went along. The guides offered to take a few pictures for us using my phone. The zip lining was very affordable. It was about $110 for my niece and myself to go zip lining for almost 2 hours. That not only made memories of a lifetime but it was affordable as well. Every moment was worth every cent!! Once we were done zip lining my niece looked at me and said that she wore her fairy wings while zip lining and this is a joke between the two of us that we will treasure forever! The equipment, as well as the guides, were very modern and up-to-date. It let us feel secure enough to use our fairy wings and fly and we did! No worries or concerns about anything and we were able to make another lifetime memory at Kentucky Shores! I can't thank them enough for helping us make our story even better. They were wonderful! I would recommend them with five stars. I have been zip lining at several other places, and while good, Kentucky Shores has the personal touch, kindness and caring to put them above the rest. We will definitely be going back again and I would recommend them to anybody. We had so much fun and again, the affordability, the safety, the knowledge and the demeanor of the guide is what will bring us back again. We are very excited about the renovations and the remodeling they're doing to the Kentucky Shores Amusement Park and now when we go we can add zip lining to our adventure days!! Thank you to everybody who helped make our magical adventure day happen and we are very grateful for the last 4 years of memories!!

Unfortunately several of the things that you could once do are no longer available for use (zipline, rock climbing wall, etc), at least until the inspector can come by and look at the currently closed facilities to ensure safety. The park itself has lazer tag, go karts, putt putt, and smaller carnival type games.
