I played music in the jukebox and the owner turned down the music to watch the horse race.

1/30/2025 After…read moreWinter Storm Fern finally melted away, cabin fever had officially set in, so it was time to get out of the house and track down some real comfort food. That led us back to Biglow's Burgers, and once again, they didn't disappoint. If you're on the hunt for one of the best burgers or sandwiches in OKC, this place absolutely deserves a spot on your list. Even though we've visited several times, this was our first time trying the fried pickles. Crispy, golden, and with just the right kick of heat -- easily some of the better ones I've had around town. We decided to split "The Holy Cow," and wow... what a sandwich. It's basically Oklahoma comfort food done right: a hand-breaded, tenderized chicken fried steak served on a buttery grilled brioche bun, piled with shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and mayo. Messy in the best possible way. It comes with hand-cut fries, which were fresh and perfectly cooked. We skipped the seasoning and salted them ourselves (personal preference), and they were spot on. One heads up -- some menu items have limited availability, so if you're craving something specific, don't wait too long. Bottom line: great food, generous portions, and that classic local joint vibe that keeps you coming back. We'll definitely be back again soon. Comfort food done right.

My only main complaint was for some reason the floor felt like I was walking on a bowling alley with socks and I was afraid someone was going to fall. As for the burger and food though, should definitely be on peoples list of burgers to try

I have loved this place since . . . wow. Never mind…read more Took the boyfriend in the other night, as he'd never been to Bunny's. I had the Chicken Philly; he had the classic onion burger piled high with grilled onions. The cook stayed in the kitchen and made our food while the friendly counter help (a nice young lady) took our order and served our fresh, hot food. Conveniently located just south of NW 50th & Meridian in Oklahoma City P.S.: Get the grilled onions on EVERYTHING!

Bunny's Burgers - Back After 20 Years!…read more It's been two decades since I last ate at Bunny's, and walking back in brought a wave of nostalgia. I remember grabbing their famous onion burgers to-go back in the day--always left smelling like grilled onions (in the best way). The place is now under new ownership and has gotten a bit of a facelift. It's small and cozy with about 6 tables inside, 5 stools at the counter, and a few tables outside on the patio. We came between lunch and dinner, so it was quiet--perfect for checking out the updated menu. What I Ordered: Philly Cheesesteak - I came in wanting a burger, but the cheesesteak caught my eye. I'm a sucker for a good Philly. It came with Swiss (no Cheese Whiz), and while the flavor was solid, the bun fell apart halfway through. Hand-cut fries were okay--not really my style. I'd probably stick with a burger next time. What My Wife Had: Chili Cheeseburger with Raw Onions - Good flavor and a nice kick from the chili. The raw onions gave it that old-school Bunny's vibe. Overall: Glad we gave it another try, but next time, we're definitely going for the onion burger--that's what Bunny's is known for, and it's what we should've ordered. Still, it was great to revisit an old favorite with a fresh new feel. The service was great and our meal came out quickly. Unlike me that I didn't ask for our servers name. She did a great job!

I tried their burger egg rolls and they were a fun appetizer to try. I think anything on their menu is a hit. I like how they make their burger patties. Not too thick as I'm more of a smash burger fan. Their fries were well seasoned as well. We came at 2pm so there was no wait. The service was great. They checked on us and refilled our waters. I like how this location is set up. They have a bar area and back area which seems fun for night time. Overall, great burger spot with fun burger options!

He recommended the thrash nachos and glad he did! Very good. Would order those again! We also ordered the bourbon wings, theta burger, the clash burger, hamburger mac and cheese eggrolls and order of crinkles. Pickles on the burger tasted homemade, liked those a lot! The egg rolls were large! Definitely no skimping on size with these. It was super chill, easy going place. And in a fun area. And visually great aesthetics. Would recommend!! Very good all around!! Food was served fast and hot!

If you're on a mission to find the best burger in Oklahoma, like I am, then let me point you to…read moreyour first stop--The Patty Wagon. I recently picked up the Burger Passport and kicked things off here, and honestly... it was the perfect place to start. I had been here about two years ago and remembered being impressed--but this visit confirmed it. Saturday night? Packed. Only a couple tables open, steady line, great energy. That's always a good sign when you're chasing great burgers. We ordered, grabbed a table, and settled in for about a 15-minute wait--no problem. Now came the real challenge... Do I play it safe with a classic burger... or go off the rails? Then I saw it. The Chef Special: "The Nutty Narc." A single patty topped with thick-cut bacon, peanut butter, and a dollop of marshmallow. Yeah... you read that right. Most people might hesitate--but if you're serious about finding the best burger, you've got to be willing to explore the full menu. I'm not just here for the basics--I'm here for ALL of it. And let me tell you... this burger was an experience. Sweet, savory, salty--completely outside the norm, but somehow it works. Not for everyone, but definitely for someone like me who's willing to take the ride. Meanwhile, my wife went the smarter route--build-your-own with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheddar. Classic. Balanced. And after one bite... I can confirm--it was excellent. Now let's talk fundamentals, because this is where great burger spots separate themselves: The Bun. This is a big one for me. Does it hold up? Does it fall apart halfway through? The staff was rocking shirts claiming they have the "best buns"... and I'll back that up. Soft, structured, and held together from first bite to last. That's how it's done. The Fries. We tried both the hand-cut and sweet potato fries. Solid across the board--good, but not the star of the show. And that's okay... because the burger is the show. The Vibe. Laid-back, energetic, and full of people who clearly know where to get a good burger. That kind of crowd tells you everything you need to know. Final Take: The Patty Wagon delivers--whether you stick with a classic or take a wild swing like the Nutty Narc. If you're serious about burgers in OKC, this place belongs on your list. This is just stop #1 on my Burger Passport journey... and if this is the starting point, I'm in for one hell of a ride. Rating: (for the burger alone) Fries? Good. Buns? Legit. Creativity? Off the charts.

We had heard so many great things about this burger spot--especially from a neighbor who raved…read moreabout it, but I ended up not liking it as much. The space is casual and reasonably clean, and it definitely gets busy during lunch. Be prepared to wait, as everything is cooked to order. I ordered the single patty combo. Our meal ended up being more expensive than other burger joints we've tried, especially since everything is à la carte--including sauces--which adds up quickly. It would've been nice if they provided a tray for the food, too. As for the burger, the beef patty lacked seasoning, so the focus really fell on the toppings--but even then, the overall flavor was pretty flat. The bun was too sweet for my taste. The fries were also a miss--more burnt than crispy. That said, their housemade sauces were a highlight. The ranch and fry sauce were both really good and added some much-needed flavor. Small detail, but I also appreciated that they have Coke and Dr Pepper. Service is counter-style, but the staff who brought out our food were warm and friendly. She even told us to leave everything on the table, and she'd take care of it once we were about to leave.

We were hungry, but also had our little pooch with us and wanted outdoor seating. We passed this place with a cute sign and patio seating in the shade and thought we would try it out. I turned around and went back and we were very happy that we did. It was a hot day but pleasant in the shade. Everyone was nice. They brought out a bowl of water for our dog. We each had a Stray Dog Combo upgraded to fries instead of chips, very good. To me, this is very much what Route 66 is all about, the independent mom-and-pop place serving good food at reasonable prices, and not the typical stuff you find back home. Fun and tasty and would like to stop here again the next time we drive through.

Just not our style. The mac & cheese had a very strange flavor. The hot dog was good but they served it to us in a bowl, that was really awkward to eat. All the burgers were served with fresh ingredients, but overcooked the meat & we didn't like the Jalapeño buns. I didn't really like any of the buns unfortunately. We loved the tiny cut fries. The chili cheese fries were the BOMB. Coffee is A-OK :) Highly Recommend the Chili cheese fries :)'
