This is a cool little spot with board games and a great beer selection. My friend and I shared a flight, which was decent sized glasses of six beers for only 17 bucks. At first the place is inviting ... beer are priced a good price but when it comes to the way the owner is he is particular. I was on the phone and instead of just asking me to get off the phone or suggest that it was bother... instead it's because I was speaking Spanish to my family in Mexico. He already had a bit of hesitation serving me but didn't think anything of it until his actions confirmed how he felt. I know I'm in Washington but I thought bars were suppose to be fun. I was told to be quiet for talking a different language loud at that even though they have a touch tunes. The gentlemen that serves at the bar kicked me out immediately because he said I was too loud. Honestly as a person with a disability and him berly even able to hear I would suggest another place unless you want to come here for a quick beer just don't stay too long because the people that work here are all buddy buddy especially the little person ... I think she is related to the owner or some thing. read more

This place is super cute and hidden in an alley now very easy to access from the light rail. This is great if you are like me and struggle to visit places without parking lots. Do look for the signs on the street to indicate if they are open. It doesn't seem to get the recognition it deserves, it's kind of nice to feel like you have discovered a secret brewery and if you are lucky you may get to enjoy it with very few other people. They have friendly people working behind the counter and a few of their own beers on tap. There are lots of other great Washington craft beers so you have plenty to choose from, but we usually try to sample at least one of their own. What I love most about this place is the upstairs area, there's a couple pinball machines, a foosball table and some other stuff. It's got a great game room feel to it. You can look out over the lower brewery below and feel like you are in your own little world. Its a great place for a quiet conversation and makes a great addition to any outing in the neighborhood. read more

I can't believe this amazing brewery is in my neighborhood!! It's a small bar located in the alley. My fiancé and I both got the dragon fruit sour for a pint (about $6.50) -- it has been a favorite apparently! I also tried their Pilsner which was a bit too grassy for me. I usually am not a fan of sours, but I thoroughly enjoyed the dragon fruit sour. We were able to try some samples too when figuring out what to get for our next brew. The guys running the brewery were super friendly. There's seating indoors and outdoors. They also leave free bags of pretzels to snack with your beer. If you're hungry, there's also a food truck across the street. I would definitely come here again for the ambiance, the friendly service, and great beers!! read more

This little brewery almost snuck under my radar. I guess it's a good thing I do random searches on Yelp to see what comes up! This taproom is located in the Roosevelt neighborhood in Seattle. At this location they have many guest taps from mostly breweries here in the state. They do however brew their own beer (the brewing facility is not at this location). When I came here I tried two beers of their own. I had the Triple R Golden Smash which is a Belgian golden strong ale with fruity and hoppy characteristics. I got another beer brewed by Triple R which was a summer ale that was smoke enhanced. Both beers were very tasty and enjoyable! I like the atmosphere here as it is small and intimate and at the time there were not many people here so it was pleasantly quiet as well. A good little place that is worthy of a return! read more

This place wasn't quite what I expected. It has little bites like hot dogs and chip bags for sale. The beer selection is hand-curated, which is great, but I was a bit bummed to see only one Triple R original on the list. I asked the man behind the bar if that was the norm and he confirmed. It seems this place is a pub that also occasionally has original beers on tap. Set your expectations accordingly. The atmosphere was awesome-- REAL dart boards, a big TV and mismatched furniture. Don't get too used to anything on tap; they're always changing it up beers in season. Sometimes they'll even have beers on tap you can't find elsewhere in the city. Feel free to bring your own food in too. Rain City Burgers and Whole Foods are a block away, so load up and head down to Triple R to chow down. They also have a few TVs to catch the game. Been coming to triple r for 5+ years, so it's hard to believe I'm just finally writing a review! Rich and Rick are awesome - they're welcoming, always greet us by name, and are genuinely happy. The vibe is great - laid back, lots of games (shuffleboard, darts, pinball, foosball and board games). They always have the Ayinger hef on tap, and keep a good selection of all different varieties of beer (not as IPA-forward as the rest of Seattle) as well as one or two of their original brews. You can get takeout from one of the neighborhood joints and bring it in or eat the pretzels bags they always have available. And, they're dog friendly! read more

How did I live in this neighborhood an entire year before finding this bar? Super chill atmosphere. Amazing rotating selection of tap beers and ciders. Casual and bare-bones -- just dingy enough but not so dingy that it's scary. Loft upstairs has shuffleboard, pinball, real darts, and two foosball tables. They're happy to show games on their TVs and have an amazing board game selection. If and when I leave this neighborhood it will be really hard bc Triple R is such a great place to hang out. This is a super hole-in-the-wall brewery right next to Roosevelt and you'd have no idea (a little tricky to find, but right across the street from the el camión food truck). Triple R is a nice cozy place tucked in a small alley with friendly and approachable owners.

Always a good variety of yummy beer. They also have trash beer (Rainier (I think), Montucky, etc) if you don't want anything fancy. They also have wine if you just don't want beer at all. I like to grab some food to bring in from Whole Foods or Rain City before coming in and grab a glass of wine and chow down. The prices are reasonable and the owners are very nice and chill and are open to any feedback or requests, which is really refreshing! read more

Really dig this place. Love that it's normally not too crowded and there's at least some of the games open you don't have to wait for. Their brewery's beer is so-so they had a really interesting pale ale that had some very unique notes unlike any pale I've ever tried. Their tap selection is better than most but not beer nerd level like Toronado. Even though I'm kinda a beer nerd myself I prefer this place for the games and atmosphere. read more

I live in the neighborhood but had no idea this place existed until a friend said, "Hey, you live right next to Triple R!" and I said, "What's that?" So I had to check it out. It's located facing an alley so is hard to find unless you've heard of it, but the don't let the alley dissuade you. The bar is great. This is a nice neighborhood spot with better beer and MUCH better service than Teddys. (Don't get me wrong -- Teddy's is fine, but it can be obnoxious at times). This spot is laid back with a less crazy crowd. It's a relaxed place. When I visited earlier this week, the bartender was able to make some good recommendations and let me taste a few different beers. Hat tip to him for customer service -- he started the interaction by saying, "what kind of beer do you usually like?" and then made suggestions based on what I said (instead of randomly suggesting beers, which is what other bars often do). This is one of my favorite local bars. The in house brews are super tasty, they have board games for days, and the conversation with both customers and bartenders is always top notch. Rick and Rich have given the Roosevelt neighbourhood exactly what they needed! Triple R isn't huge, but it's just big enough. They have free games on the loft level, picnic tables with TVs on the walls, menus from local restaurants in the area (yes, they allow outside food), and some really great brews on tap. They allows dogs, too!! What's even better is that the duo are so friendly, instead of playing games, I'm usually chatting with them- something you don't see many owners doing on a Friday night! I love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone in Seattle. It's worth the drive, trust me! read more
