Spicy dumplings
Alexis K.

I'm glad that I visited and will definitely be back. I went alone and chose a bar seat and everything was great. They start you out with edamame as soon as you sit down and they were pretty good. I then chose to order an alcoholic beverage and it was beautiful and delicious. I chose the spicy dumplings for my appetizer and those flavors were great. For my main dish I had one the lamb dishes and when I tell you it was enough food to share. I mean it. With that being said I didn't finish my meal. They packed it up for me and had great take away bags. The restaurant was clean and the vibe was very chill with nice music selections. They were always attentive and made suggestions that served me well. I will definitely be back with my family on my next visit, but if i ever want to slip away to enjoy some light appetizers and a drink this will be my place.

Our trip to Tripple Pepper was nice. The parking lot looked full however there was plenty of seating in the restaurant. My guess is there were more people at a neighboring restaurant. Tripple Pepper was a nice quiet spot for the night but left a lot to be desired. The menus we were given were definitely different with the two we were handed. One menu had an additional item listed with a label (crazy chicken is what I believe the added dish was.) We were given some yummy edamame when were seated. I was impressed by the sauce and flavor of these which is the reason the star count is high. These were yummm!!! I liked that they had the dumplings in a mixed order so that were able to try all of those offerings. Our favorite dumplings were the beef and the vegetable dumplings. The chicken was not good to us at all. The flavor of the chicken dumpling just did not taste as well as the other ones. The beef and vegetable dumplings are another reason for the high star count. We ordered the Triple Pepper Beef and it was OVER TAKEN by PEPPERCORNS. We could no longer taste our food at that point. If you have ever had peppercorns, you know what I mean. Next the Spicy Crispy Chicken is most definitely crispy. No complaint on that. But this dish also had those peppercorns and after trying the beef we were not able to taste the flavor of it. This place LOVES PEPPERCORNS!!!! If you zoom in on the pictures you'd most definitely see them. Our waitress is another reason for the high star count. She was great! Answered any questions we had and made sure to check on us throughout the night. For the price we paid for this meal, we most definitely could have had better food. And maybe the food is good, minus the mountain of peppercorns. Which I love peppercorns, this was just too many for one sitting.

Triple Pepper has a great ambiance. Food is good but I expected more. Flavors are good, but I wouldn't consider it memorable. We went there in June and they were having a soft opening. It was confusing as to who was our waiter/waitress, so at some point we were having a hard time getting anyone to bring us a refill. We were also missing utensils/chopsticks for one and we all had our plate but one person in our table was missing utensils. I ended up getting them myself, which was annoying for the staff I am sure. I hope by now those details have been fixed, but I don't think I would go back mainly because I don't thunk the food was that great.

I visited here during their grand opening and it was pretty busy. Their menu indicated it was only a temporary one and the prices were not discounted. Maybe they just forgot to remove their "Grand Opening" sign. I sat at the bar since I was dining alone. They have 3 menus, one for snacks, one for drinks, and one for dinner. I noticed they had a wide mix of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, spanning across several Asian countries like China, Korea and Japan. For food, they have a wide variety of Szechuan dishes. One section of the menu is called Main Dishes, but these do not seem to be large dishes, more like Misc. dishes since most are fried rice. I came in for boiled fish mainly. I also added the dumplings in chilli oil appetizer. Dumplings - these are not really spicy at all. It comes with a few bok choy, ground beef crumbles, several dumplings, and loads of chilli oil. Boiled fish - this was a great version of boiled fish which is one of my fav Szechuan dishes. Immediately I noticed the fish tasted different than the other restaurants in town where I order this dish. I asked and the server indicated the fish was a black fish. It has skin on the sides of the fish chunks which was another clue they were doing something different. About 10 mins later I asked a gentleman who appeared to be the manager what type of fish they used and he said it was a type of seabass. While they did have a full bar, I did not see any cocktail menu per se. They might want to add this in the future. This restaurant has 3 other locations currently, and all have pretty high ratings so that is further proof they are doing a lot of things right.

Brand new place, the inside is nice. We went late but it was quiet. The service was great, the server explained the menu and was prompt with water and even brought us some dipping sauces unprompted just for us to try. We ordered the soup dumplings(6), which were tasty. They were the right temperature- not scalding but warm. The vinegary ginger sauce paired really well with the dumplings. We also ordered the crispy spicy chicken. Light on the numbing and heavier with the spice, it is one of my favorite spicy chickens from a Szechuan place. Good portion and the rice that came with it was very soft and fluffy. I would come again, there were many things on the menu that looked amazing.

Pretty impressive and authentic Sichuan cuisine Excellent service Bright and clean Have ordered fish with salt and pepper, black pepper beef, triple pepper beef, spicy eggplant, soup dumplings, regular beef dumplings, sautéed green beans Loved the spicy eggplant, triple pepper beef, sautéed green beans Dumplings have a thick wrapper, just a bit too thick. Flavor and soup have no complaints

Spicy Cumin lamb... oooo oo so good. Szechuan Style. To go order was prompt & as promised. Super Big Yum.

Ambiance and ample sized tailored space has a dining experience for your large gathering in the College Park Center. A big welcoming entrance leading to Inviting design, lighting & chic atmosphere. My visit was at their soft opening for a walk in to go order on my way to Big D. Immediately rewarded with care & guidance as I skimmed over their very detailed menu with understanding & visuals of many dishes. For you lucky Grand Opening attendees...At opening they will feature a bevy of stylized matcha beverages. (The photos look amazing) I will tell you, coming from Houston & a frequent visitor of Bellaire, my two cents not in expertise but experience, and opinion only, this place is excellent. Good on you Woodlands! They are hungry for your business. I wish them double happiness & long success. They are well on their way. Stop by have q special meal here, or place a to go. I hope you enjoy your meal as much as I did. Bathrooms are large and very clean. The whole space is new and the showpiece is the front bar. Tasteful elongated art work adorns the spacious place. The kitchen I peeked in, seems fines tuned. They know what works! Impressed with how quick fast and fresh my order was created. Packed well with quality ingredients.

Triple Pepper is a franchise that has other location in the Houston area, one recently opened up in The Woodlands so I checked it out. To put it simply, what a disappointment. The atmosphere and service were all fine and dandy, but the food... it was just not good. All the ingredients were fresh and well prepared but every single dish I had here felt like something was missing. From the look of it, it looks good. All the ingredients seem to be there but the food was just bland and not that appetizing.

We came to Triple Pepper on a Saturday around 5:30pm. The place was busy and short staffed but the food was delivered hot and delicious. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the dumplings were piping hot. The portion sizes are very generous and would be great to share or pass around the table the staff were very friendly even though they were extremely overwhelmed. A solid spot for Asian food.

Got the Mei Cai Kou Rou aka steamed pork belly with preserved mustard green. The broccoli was refrigerator temperature cold. The mustard greens under the pork belly were not ice cold like just out of the refrigerator but definitely cold. They were nice to give us and the other tables some spicy edamame for free while we waited. The dan dan noodles was way too soupy for me. Really wanted to love this place because the menu looked more authentic. But they didn't deliver on quality at all.

Soup dumplings

Another happy find in the location of an earlier favorite. Triple Pepper offers a menu with some unique item and lives up to its name. Service was good and incorporated current technology. The place is warm and inviting. Soup dumplings were a bit dry albeit homemade. Rice noodles are actually soup, though when I asked before ordering I was led to believe otherwise. Perhaps a language issue.

The food was VERY good. A traditional Chinese menu. Fried rice was amazing and so was the triple pepper chicken. It was spicy and I loved it!! Service was amazing. She explained the menu and answered a few questions without hesitation. I highly recommend!!

We tried Three Peppers in The Woodlands for a late lunch today after my wife's coworker recommended it, and we're glad we did. We were greeted and seated quickly in a beautifully decorated space with thoughtful table settings, including chopsticks and linen napkins. The menu currently feels like a preview version, with a full illustrated one on the way, plus a solid drink list featuring Asian libations. We started with spring rolls and soup dumplings--both delicious, though the rolls came out piping hot. I had the boiled beef extra spicy, which definitely delivered heat, while my wife enjoyed the house fried rice. Both portions were generous, and we took some home. Our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend--everything we tried was excellent, and we'll definitely return.

The woman who took the order over the phone and at the pick up counter wasn't very personable. Seemed as if she was rushing around although the restaurant wasn't at all busy inside. Perhaps just having a bad night? We ordered Chicken Lo Mein, General Tao's, Honey Walnut Chicken, crab puffs, and spring rolls -- portions for dishes were fairly standard, all of which were just ok regarding flavor and texture. General Tso's lacked spice and the texture of the chicken was gristly. Lo Mein was average tasting. Honey Walnut Chicken actually had more spice than the General Tso's... but regardless, was pretty bland. The crab puffs had hardly any cream cheese filling, and the ends of the fried pieces were hard and chewy which was disappointing. How can you screw up a crab puff? The best thing we ate were the spring rolls which were light and crispy paired with the sweet and sour sauce. We wanted to like this place, however, there are far superior Chinese restaurants in the area. I doubt we will try again.

The chashu was perfect with a slight crisp to it, the noodles were springy, and I enjoyed the addition of the bok choy. It was also the perfect amount of food. That should've been my first sign when I walked in. It was hotter inside than it was outside. I picked up the menu looked at it for a hot second and then thought well. I'll just order something. So naturally, I said pad Thai, standard Asian meal. Not at this place they didn't have it and she looked at me strange. So I proceeded to look at the menu and found some random dish that looked decent and ordered. Then I ordered drinks and she told us after we had paid the soda had no carbonation in the machine so we could get the drinks out of the fridge. So we went and got the drinks out of the fridge, sat down open them up they both were flat. I suspect if I had checked the dates they were both expired, but I didn't bother. So we sat down and literally one minute later, the food came out... Which tells me that all the food was likely premade, and this was just a buffet that was hidden in the back. I ate, and it was well.... Let's just say the Woodlands Mall Asian foods a bit better than this stuff. Anyhow, I did encourage the team who works here to turn the AC down a little bit, make sure the fridge doesn't have expired drinks/flat drinks, make the food like they serve it to their family. I'll report back shortly and let you know if there are any biological effects of this food... All that for $45 - two dishes, two flat drinks, two rice.

Albert, Susan, Jason, and I came for our first visit and ordered whatever sounded good, then shared everything family-style--which turned into quite the feast. We tried the pork soup dumplings, separate orders of steamed pork, chicken, and beef dumplings, the crispy beef roll, fried shrimp balls, pineapple beef, combo fried noodles, Mongolian beef, and the swan dessert. The pork soup dumplings were my favorite: hot, juicy, freshly made, and absolutely worth ordering. The crispy beef roll was another standout, especially with all that fresh cilantro. The shrimp balls were crispy outside and tender and flavorful inside, and the pineapple beef was served inside a hollowed-out pineapple with a sweet flavor similar to sweet-and-sour beef, minus the sour. The Mongolian beef and combo fried noodles were both good additions, and we had plenty of leftovers because the portions were generous. The value is honestly excellent for both the amount and caliber of food. I tried apple sake for the first time and loved it, while Jason's nigori sake paired perfectly with the meal. The food arrived at a comfortable pace, so we could actually enjoy each dish instead of having the entire table buried at once. Vicky was wonderful. She helped us understand what was in the different dishes and made excellent recommendations. The swan dessert had a red bean filling and came with "Welcome to Mimi Garden" written in chocolate, which made our first visit feel especially thoughtful. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, tables were cleared almost immediately after guests left, parking was easy, and the atmosphere was soft and peaceful with quiet music and low conversation. You can also watch the food being made through the large glass wall, which added to the experience. This place works as a hidden gem, a date-night spot, or a relaxed dinner with friends.
