Their pricing was fair, and they offered many appealing options for what I wanted to do. Despite how backed up with work they had due to island wide damage from this last storm, they were also very accommodating with scheduling given my concerns about the needs to have the fence replaced before the remains of my old fence caused damage if another storm hits. From beginning to end, my experience with Supreme Fencing has been exemplary. Erika kept me up to date and answered every question I had immediately, with cheer and enthusiasm. She's a great asset to Supreme Fencing and contributed greatly to my fantastic experience hiring them. The work crew arrived on schedule and worked HARD through a very hot and humid two days to demolish my old fence and put up a new vinyl fence and gate. Their foreman and crew were very friendly and despite the conditions worked nonstop and sounded like they had fun doing it. They were perfectionists in how they tackled the project, filling me in each step on what they had planned to do and how they planned to do it, and made sure everything was done with my needs in mind, and a flawless end result as the goal. When everything was up I watched as they went over everything with a fine tooth comb and wiped it all down and made sure that not a piece was out of place and everything looked perfect. They were also very mindful of cleaning up the work site every day. It has never looked so good after painting. As you can see from the photos, the fence has spearheads, balls, and multiple rails, making the painting process more difficult. 808 F&R carefully prepared the fence, removing rust bubbles and grinding down the the metal where needed. We flew over from California for a couple of weeks. 808 F&R was able to start and complete the job while we were on Oahu. You can see their work for yourself on the right hand side of Nuuanu heading out of Honolulu.

Here are my praises about hiring Mokoi at every step of the process: --Estimate and Proposal: Owner Viliami Mokoi came to inspect the work to be done, offered his recommendations from his years of experience, and put the specific descriptions of the work to be done in a written proposal (total of 4 proposals), including details I wanted to add, such as locks on the vinyl gates and installing a mailbox in the wall. I tried to obtain estimates from other contractors, but no one else was willing to do all the work such as removing roots and foliage and running underground pipes on all three sides of the house for the drainage system. --Superb Workmanship: I am still admiring the 2-tiered rock walls that are beautiful and solid (see photo). To install the underground drainage system, the crew had to use heavy equipment to excavate the jungle surrounding the house and haul in gravel to cover the pipes. The area is now clear and spacious with a hidden drainage system ready for heavy rain from hurricane and Kona low storms. Manoa rain and worker shortages caused delays in work, but the crew made up time by working hard and fast when they could. During the whole time, Vili texted to me about the progress of the work and promptly answered my questions. I am very pleased with the final products of the built walls and installed drainage system as well the patched concrete wall and leveled sidewalk. --Five Star Clean-Up: The crew hauled out all the piles of debris from the jobs and even swept up. He routinely would schedule a time for work, only to cancel on the promised day. This happened 7 times! His team started doing a nice job but then cut corners by using stone scraps in parts of the rock wall that look terrible. They also left a mess in my yard with rock dust that has killed the grass. Worst of all, we had clearly agreed on the extent of work, only for Vili to tell me he made a mistake and would need more money. (I wanted his guys to be whole but did not want to deal with Vili anymore, so we cut off the job.)
