    Insulation in attic
    Brandon L. S.

My reason for bringing Triple H in was the 3 bedrooms we use that myself and my children sleep in were freezing at night. I knew the insulation in my attic was a mess and antiquated as my house was built around 1970(average for Long Island). One of my children's bedroom is over my two car garage and I had no idea what type(if any) of insulation was in the ceiling of the garage, under my daughters bedroom. My home is a splanch so I also have a half bathroom in the rear of the house, off the kitchen which was also always very cold but less worrisome since nobody slept in it. Chris and Kyle came in to do an audit, they are were professional, honest and efficient . They quickly identified the spots I mentioned and found even more spots where they can make a huge difference. We sat down and went over the options financially, how long it would take, if there would be holes in the Sheetrock etc. There was never any pressure and they answered all our questions professionally. He assured us that beside the garage, there would be no holes anywhere (in the garage they would spackle all the holes so all I had to do was touch up )and all the rest of the work would be from the outside and the attic. I have twin 2.5 year olds so timing was important, they promised me it would take 2 days max and they would even do one day on a Saturday to help us out. Install day came and they delivered everything they promised, and more! Their crew was professional, timely, efficient and left the place as clean as it was when they entered. To top it off, Chris and Kyle sent two crews to my house so they were able to get the job done in 1 full day. Chris and Kyle also personally stopped by to make sure the job was going smoothly. We then could not wait to see if we would "feel the difference". It took one night for us to discover the result was even better then we imagined. My master bedroom, which I had spent the prior 3 years(since I owned the house) freezing in at night in the winter, was actually so warm that I woke up in the middle of the night sweating and had to remove my shirt. Since then, my wife and I have been running the ceiling fan all night (even when It was 3 degrees outside with the windchill). We were used to going into my daughters room when she woke up, and feeling the cold. On most nights the thermometer in her room would read 63/64degrees, even though the thermostat in the hallway was set at and reading 70 degrees. Well we opened the door and couldn't believe it, it was warm!!!!! The thermometer was actually reading 72 degrees. We truly recommend Chris, Kyle and everybody at Triple H. They did an amazing job and highly recommend them!

DO YOU HAVE WATER LEAKING INTO YOUR BASEMENT AS I DID? I FOUND SOMEONE YOU NEED TO TALK TO!…read more My basement walls had 3 cracks in them. They leaked water into the basement when we had heavy rains. To fix these cracks I called in top rated waterproofing companies for their estimates, to do their repair work. I found these companies to be very expensive, and they give a minimum time, on their warranty's for their work, for the money you have to pay them! $3000.-$10,000. for inside repair work with a 2-5 year warranty on their work. If they dig up outside, and make repairs, $20,000.+++ with a 10 year warranty. OUCH! Then I found New York Waterproofing Inc. and owner George Carpozi III, who is also a custom luxury home builder too, on Angies list now called Angi. George has been in the basement waterproofing business for many years and knows how to fix any type of basement water problem. He has waterproofed residential as well as commercial basements, fresh and ocean salt water problems, leaking basement walls, windows, joints, and water coming up through the basement floor. George can stop the leaks! He has his own system to do this without digging up outside your property! He is so sure he can fix your leak George gives a WRITTEN LIFETIME GUARANTEE on the work he has done for you. Who else does that? I will be honest, I was very skeptical of Georges promises to me, and I told him so. He emailed me a list of people he had done work for all over NYS, he said call whoever I want and ask them if I stopped their water leaking into their basements! I called 4 people on the list, 3 from Long Island and 1 from upstate NY, ALL said they no longer have water leaking into their basements. One was a commercial property too. George is the real deal! I hired George to repair my basement cracks, George and his crew came to my home the Sunday before the NY area had days of RECORD RAINFALLS just last week. With all the rain we had, none of the cracks George repaired leaked! The price I paid New York Waterproofing Inc, and with a written lifetime guarantee on the repairs they made, was about HALF the cost of the lowest estimate I received from the other waterproofing companies I called in! If you have any type of basement water problem, my recommendation is to call and get estimates, but DO NOT SIGN anything, until you call George Carpozi III, and New York Waterproofing Inc. You owe it to yourself, and your pocket! I don't know of any other basement waterproofing company who will give you a written lifetime guarantee on their work. Even if your basement is not leaking, keep his number just in case. Give it to someone you know who has basement water leaking problems. I wish all with wet basements a better day, and a happy dry basement to come soon as well, now go make that call, George Carpozi III, 631-806-9690, also below is a link to his website. Good luck! https://newyorkwaterproofinginc.com/

The Prime Mold team is highly professional and deconstructed, completed mold remediation and restored ceilings and walls including drywall, plaster and painting that had been stripped down to the brick. Mike responded immediately and was on-site the next day to assess the situation. His professionalism, transparency, and clear communication made it easy to move forward with confidence. Mike, Simon, and their team were outstanding from start to finish. They completed the water mitigation and mold remediation in just three days--impressive given the scope of the damage. The crew was highly skilled, respectful of our home, and extremely detail-oriented. They protected our belongings, kept the work areas contained, and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. Communication was excellent throughout. Mike also provided prompt, detailed documentation for insurance, which made the claims process much smoother. While insurance approvals took time (outside their control), once cleared, the rebuild was completed in only three weeks--far faster than expected. Even minor finishing details were handled quickly and without issue. Prime Mold Removal exceeded our expectations across the board. If you're dealing with water damage, mold, or need reconstruction, I highly recommend them without hesitation.

After filling…read moreout a form and adding some photographs and describing the situation someone called me back- I think he might've been the owner of the company. A brief conversation turned into him loudly talking over me and not allowing me to speak. I told him when the siding had been done and when the windows were done, he immediately started telling me the reason it was leaking was due to the contractor who did the siding- they were the cause of that even though the siding was done six years ago and it's only leaked twice starting about four weeks ago. Then he said it was because of the immigrants- they were doing all of the wrong work. I told him that this particular job was not done by immigrants. our regular Handyman and his son did all of it. He also was telling me I wasn't qualified to tell whether someone was properly licensed in NY or not because I just had someone else give an estimate who showed me their license who had wanted to take the window out and then put it back in with new protection etc. At some point I said are you going to tell me what you think about the window and he said I already did it's $800-$1200 without really explaining what they were going to do. I don't recall him saying that in this crazy conversation before perhaps he did and I couldn't remember because it was mostly him berating me. Anyway, I said that's too expensive and goodbye. I do not recommend this company based on this. It's too bad because they do seem to have a lot of good reviews and I was considering to ask them about the other leak with the roof as well that hasn't happened again for a year. After three strike outs with three different people now I am ready to just go to Home Depot and ask them to tell me how to fix this myself.
