We hired them for a problem with cooling our upstairs bedrooms. We also had a problem with water condensing on ceiling in our bathroom. They recommended removing all old insulation. They sealed all the high hats and breaches. They filled it with blown cellulose to R49. Which has settled now after a few months. Not the R49. They came back 5 times to redo items that were not properly done. The AC problem is not what we were hoping for. Better somewhat. They recommended a larger fan to exhaust bathroom moisture. Not resolved. We spent over 15g . Not really happy with the outcome. We will have to hire an engineering company to access whatever is necessary to fix this problem. read more

I had a couple of insulation issues in my house. I called and there representative Jessie came out and addressed all of my issues. He thoroughly explained how they would be taking care of my crawl space and cantilever insulation issues. The project was done in one day just before thanksgiving of 2023. The work crew was terrific along with the project manager Mike. There was one small glitch and Mike came back with another worker and took care of my concerns. I can't say enough as far as how satisfied we are. I delayed on writing this post until after this recent very cold snap ( wind chills to below10 degrees )to be sure that my heating issues were abated. I am going to have to give them a 2. I needed insulation in my new home as my pipes were freezing and the attic insulation was inadequate. First the good.... The attic insulation job went as expected. The crew is very efficient, professional and polite. The salesperson however was awful when I called him to ask questions. I almost cancelled the job but I was reassured by the owners. Now the pipes..... Over $7000 and my pipes froze on the first cold day. I called and they sent someone over and said they would remediate it. Another employee came a few weeks later and said yes they could work on it for another $1200. I declined. Initially they assured me the job would solve the issue. So, long story short, I need to find another company to fix the most urgent problem I have before winter arrives. And, FYI, its just about 6 months since the National Grid rebate application went in and still no rebate so plan on a much longer wait for a check than they tell you. read more

We could tell right away a difference in the comfort of our home. The employees were clean, neat and courteous. Can't wait to see the difference in our heating and cooling bills. My reason for bringing Triple H in was the 3 bedrooms we use that myself and my children sleep in were freezing at night. I knew the insulation in my attic was a mess and antiquated as my house was built around 1970(average for Long Island). One of my children's bedroom is over my two car garage and I had no idea what type(if any) of insulation was in the ceiling of the garage, under my daughters bedroom. My home is a splanch so I also have a half bathroom in the rear of the house, off the kitchen which was also always very cold but less worrisome since nobody slept in it. Chris and Kyle came in to do an audit, they are were professional, honest and efficient . They quickly identified the spots I mentioned and found even more spots where they can make a huge difference. We sat down and went over the options financially, how long it would take, if there would be holes in the Sheetrock etc. There was never any pressure and they answered all our questions professionally. He assured us that beside the garage, there would be no holes anywhere (in the garage they would spackle all the holes so all I had to do was touch up )and all the rest of the work would be from the outside and the attic. I have twin 2.5 year olds so timing was important, they promised me it would take 2 days max and they would even do one day on a Saturday to help us out. Install day came and they delivered everything they promised, and more! Their crew was professional, timely, efficient and left the place as clean as it was when they entered. To top it off, Chris and Kyle sent two crews to my house so they were able to get the job done in 1 full day. Chris and Kyle also personally stopped by to make sure the job was going smoothly. We then could not wait to see if we would "feel the difference". It took one night for us to discover the result was even better then we imagined. My master bedroom, which I had spent the prior 3 years(since I owned the house) freezing in at night in the winter, was actually so warm that I woke up in the middle of the night sweating and had to remove my shirt. Since then, my wife and I have been running the ceiling fan all night (even when It was 3 degrees outside with the windchill). We were used to going into my daughters room when she woke up, and feeling the cold. On most nights the thermometer in her room would read 63/64degrees, even though the thermostat in the hallway was set at and reading 70 degrees. Well we opened the door and couldn't believe it, it was warm!!!!! The thermometer was actually reading 72 degrees. We truly recommend Chris, Kyle and everybody at Triple H. jesse from triple h came to give me an estimate on foaming my attic. he inspected my house for about 1 hr 15 minutes. to make long story short, i only received a verbal estimate from jesse for about $25k but never got anything in writing. if your going to get an estimate for a job, make sure you get it in writing. or else run don't walk away. beware of scames. read more

We had a radiant barrier installed in our attic to reduce the extreme heat there. The attic is barely any cooler and certainly not worth the cost of the installation or the mess left behind. The installers were not only slobs, leaving garbage in the attic but they came through the ceiling leaving a mess and a repair they never made. We were told a painter would be contacting us to restore it to original condition and after several follow up calls and assurances from Triple H, it never happened. To really top off the insult, they also made an appointment they never showed up for to evaluate why the barrier wasn't working. It wasn't enough that the expectations for the efficiency weren't met and they left a mess and a repair for us to take care of, they also wasted our time scheduling an appointment they had no intention of keeping. In hindsight, we should have known how unprofessional they would be when we had to call to confirm the job was getting done the next day and were told to call back if they don't show up. They reduced the price by $300 for the mess they left for us to take care of. So in the end we didnt get what we paid for but we got aggravation and additional work and cost. read more

We had zero insulation in our bedrooms due to a bad contractor. Ryan came in, looked everywhere and gave many solutions to our problem. I mean the rooms where stifling in the summer and freezing in the winter. Ryan and the staff at Triple H walked us through the process and took care of all the paperwork. UPDATE: This is a legit review and someone has been in contact with my husband in August 2018 (9 months after my original review). Hopefully we will be able to come up with a resolution soon. #stillhot #stillcold #stillpayingforthis I can't begin to explain how disappointed I am with Tripe H and the outcome of our almost $9,000 project done by them. My husband and I had spray insulation put into our house in August 2016 with the hopes of more temperate living conditions without having to blast the heat or AC 24/7. After living with the insulation for a little over a year now and beginning our second winter here we are still very disappointed with the outcome. We were promised a comfortable living environment and temperature wise we still do not have one. When we called over the summer to have someone come out and see why our upstairs bedrooms reached over 100* (something we were led to believe would be helped with the service they provided) we were told it could be fixed with more insulation and a price tag of another $5,000! Now it's cold and we are sitting here, heat blasting, and still cold. Had we known the insulation they provided would be so little of a help we would have looked elsewhere when trying to fix this problem. In addition, to the continued temperature problems we are dissatisfied with the work they did building an attic door/crawl space. The door falls down every time it is opened. We were also told that PSEG would come to inspect all of the work and ensure it was done correctly. We never saw anyone from PSEG or received confirmation that they came. I'm not usually one to write reviews like this but I'm so sick and tired of paying money to Tripe H every month and feeling like I got absolutely nothing out of it. read more

We had a great result using them. I originally called because of an issue in a room with a bay window - it was very cold in the window, as though they didn't insulate properly underneath. They offered to come in and do the energy audit. Their recommendations were reasonable, and included a fix for the bay window insulation issue. There was no "hard sell".
