I reached out to Zavza Seal when I needed work done to my 200+ year old home's cellar. As I'm sure you know, most old homes have brick foundations which after all this time can be a bit leaky, as well as a dirt crawl space that needed vapor barrier as it was adding to the overall humidity down there. I also needed lally columns as my house was resting on 2x4's and brick!
I contacted the team and they sent out Austin for an assessment. After the work was agreed on I'll admit I was a little hesitant; after all, you don't want a crew of people knocking things around in a tight cellar with historical significance... anything can happen!
I expressed my concerns to Austin, and he assured me that he and his crew would take the utmost care and respect while working in the cellar.
The day arrived, and the initial work was completed, and I was very impressed with the speed and workmanship the team displayed. My crawlspace is tiny, no more than 2 ft high in some places, but Austin got back there and laid the barrier, and the foundation wall was expertly repaired by the crew using mesh and hydraulic cement.
After a week Austin and Jake returned to install my lally columns (they had to be specially ordered). Again, I was impressed by the care they took installing them, and the concern they took to ensure it was done properly.
When both crews left, they were meticulous about ensuring the cellar was as clean as when they arrived. I couldn't be happier with the work, and feel confident that "my old lady" will be secure for another 200 years!
Thanks ti the Zavza team and Austin and Jake for a great job and my peace of mind! read more
