We recently had Above All Masonry install a ~500 sq ft patio using Cambridge Pavers. We absolutely LOVE IT and couldn't be happier with our choice to use Above All. From the first meeting with Steve, he was honest, upfront, and helpful. We had an idea of what we wanted, but I appreciated his insight and professionalism in a few things he mentioned. Price: we got a bunch of quotes, Above All was right in the middle. Not the cheapest, but we cared about someone doing the job RIGHT. His crew does it all, moves sprinklers, checks drainage, etc. Service: Steve told me it would only take a day to rip out our old concrete patio and install a new one. I figured it would take at least 2-3 days considering the other companies we met with. He said that he "brings an army." I was WRONG. The day of install, Steve's crew showed up on time, ripped out the old concrete and by 4pm were finishing up. It was amazing how efficient and detailed each crew member was. Steve was there most of the day, not just overseeing his crew, but checking every single aspect of the job as if it were his own. We contracted Above All Masonry to construct a pebbled patio that we expected would take weeks to complete. Instead, they showed up with a large crew and knocked it out in only four days with another two days to complete the added custom water feature. They are super hard working and care deeply about doing a great job, always aiming to please the client. The price quoted, was also quite reasonable, especially given their attention to detail and service. Steve is wonderful to work with and also has a great eye. As a designer, I appreciate that and enjoyed interacting with him. We later contracted them to do additional work at our property, give the positive experience we had with them. The only pity was that we previously hired another firm to do the plantings, which took weeks to complete, given they sent few men each day to do the work. I didn't have work done by this company but I have to now after working on my neighbors house my house, yard, furniture, cars and even the inside of my house is covered in dust. Not sure if these guys know what a wet saw is. I understand work has to get done I tolerated clouds of dust for days before totally losing it. Clearly these workers don't understand what they are breathing in OSHA would have loved this work site. Called company and I'm sure I'll never get a phone call back but they will be hearing from me everyday. shame cause they might do good work but if you get an estimate from them plan on cleaning your house as well as your neighbors read more

I can't thank Above All Masonry design enough for building me a new stoop and walkway. Steve was so easy to work with, and his designs are nothing short of brilliant. When I first had him over for an estimate, I had an idea in my head of what I wanted, but he thought my choices might clash with the style of the house, and he was right. My house is a very old cape cod cottage style, and he guided me in picking out something much more complementary. It came out beautiful! Not only that, but his price was literally 4k less than another estimate I received. He completed the job in one day, and the clean up was spotless! I can't recommend this company enough! read more

Last spring my husband and I won a 20' x 20' patio at a fundraiser to be done by Above All. My husband met with Steve. He told Steve that we needed our front porch redone, a new walkway, new driveway and a curb done. He and Steve worked out that we could take the value of the patio ($4000) off the total price of the work. Steve said that they were busy with other jobs and we said no problem we can wait until next spring to start. Steve said great because they needed to find a distributor to donate the supplies. He promised the deal will not expire I give you my word. My husband contacted Above All in February of this year. Finally got someone on the phone and Steve came back mid March. At that meeting with my husband Steve was very excited to do the work. Even though he told us material prices went up and the work we wanted done would be an additional $1000, my husband said no problem because we would still be getting the value of the patio taken off the price. Once again Steve said you have my word about what was worked out and that they could start the work soon. We were going away the last week in April and Steve said he wanted to get the work done before we were to go away. Steve said that he would get some samples so we could pick what we wanted. A couple weeks went by and my husband didn't hear anything. He called and left messages. When Lizbeth finally called back to us she told my husband that they couldn't find a distributor to donate the materials and that we could only get the patio with some left over Orange stone they had lying around and that they were busy and didn't know when they would be able to get to us. That is unacceptable! They had almost a full year to figure it out with a distributor. Not to mention she seems to forget that we wanted them to do our whole front yard. NO, I do not want your left over ugly orange stone that you have lying around. If it is good enough for me why don't you use it in your own yard!!! I am disgusted that Above All Masonry is going back on the word and promise that was given to us by Steve on more than one occasion (not to mention the charity they donated this to to raffle off). So now you can keep your free patio I don't want your company anywhere near my home!! 5/10/16: Response from owner was put on my same review on their Facebook page. They put in a new concrete patio, concrete walk & blacktop driveway. Everything they did cracked in multiple places almost immediately.Horrible job, the concrete surface was so rough it was unbelievable and he said it would smooth out over a short time, it never did. Very hard to get it touch with. Since then I had to get the job done over by a good contractor. Save yourself all the problems & STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

Above All Masonry is a class act. From the moment I met with the owner Steve to discuss my backyard project I knew I was in good hands. I am not a very creative person so it was hard for me to really pick out what I wanted to do but luckily for me Steve has the creativity of an artist which is exactly what I was looking for. He is the Michelangelo of Masonry design. My backyard was a jungle 10 days ago that I couldn't stand to look at or be in and now it is a resort like oasis. I can't thank him and his workers enough for the job that they did. And oh by the way his workers are the hardest working guys you could possible hire so make sure you feed them well and keep them hydrated!! read more
