I found All American Home Improvement on Yelp and got in touch with Jeremy. He came over the next day , climbed on the roof and inspected the skylight. He came back a few days later with his crew and patched up the roof around the skylight. They were quick, efficient and cleaned up afterwards, removing all construction debris. The pricing was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to reach out to them if I have any other roofing issues.

The first heavy storm after our roof replacement happened sooner than I would have preferred, but…read moreit ended up being a good test. The new roof handled it without any water entering the building. Before replacement, the surface had blisters, cracked seams, and several areas that held water. We reviewed repair and replacement options, and the condition of the insulation made replacement the more sensible choice. The old layers were removed down to the wood deck. Most of the wood was sound, although several boards near the front parapet needed to be replaced. A self-adhered modified-bitumen system was installed over new insulation and a cover board. The chimney flashing, plumbing vents, and roof hatch were all completed individually. Additional taper was used near the rear drain to improve water flow. The Royal Renovators Inc. crew protected the front planting area and used the rear access for debris. We found a few scraps of membrane near the neighboring fence after completion, but they returned and picked them up the next morning. The final documents included photos, material information, and the written warranty. Months later, the roof is still draining well and the interior stains have not returned.

The roof on one my buildings had reached the point where the frequency of repairs were becoming…read more.. exponentially more frequent. So, it was time -- full roof replacement. Since the building is both commercial and residiential, one of the biggest concerns was minimizing disruption to tenants, and of course keeping everything on budget and organized. From the start, Royal Renovators seemed to understand these concerns and put together a plan that worked around the building's daily operations. The existing roof was removed, damaged areas were addressed/fized, and a new roofing system was installed along with snazzy updated flashing and drainage improvements. Communication throughout the project was - chefs kiss - and we always knew what stage things were in. As expected, there were additional conditions unconvered that needed to be addressed. But, these guys were transparent about it, laid out the options like they did before, and it didnt turn into pressure or surprises. What stood out was how transparent they were when additional conditions were uncovered. Every decision was discussed beforehand and documented with photos. In the end, the new roof was completed on time, and is performing exactly as expected.

More than satisfied with Total Home Construction. If I could, I would have given them 10 stars…read more From the first time we met with Paul the owner, my wife and I were impressed with his insight into our concerns about changing the windows in our home. Also, from that meeting we both felt he had our best interest at heart. Whenever I called their office about a question I had, Heather was always extremely helpful, polite and if she didn't have the answer at that moment she would get back to us in a very timely fashion. She made it also seem that she was truly looking out for us like family. Now about the installation of the windows. I want to preface my feelings about the installation by telling you that I am and have always been told that I am a perfectionist to a fault. The team that came to my home was a 3 man team led by the unbelievable foreman Dimitri. I can't begin to tell you what a professional contractor he was. His expertise day after day was truly an artist with obvious years of experience. He had 2 other craftsman working with him installing the windows. It was very enjoyable watching each one of them working together on my behalf installing my windows to PERFECTION. I would highly recommend the Total Home Company for any construction work needed for your home. No need to worry about any shoddy work by them. We are all aware of many stories of contractors who collect their money and leave before the job is finished. No worries here. Honestly, they go over and above to make the job perfect. If they think something doesn't look right or not to their standards, it will be corrected before you even have to say something. I will definitely be using them again and will be recommending them to family and friends. This perfectionist was TOTALLY SATISFIED.
