He did my roof in Kings Park and we are damn glad he did, it came out amazing and was done the right way. Tony was the only roofer who explained how he needed to remove some siding and install ice shield up the outside walls and it would take some more time to get it done. Not one other roofer even mentioned they would do this, When I asked Tony he said that's because it's the right way and we take our time to do it right. On the last day when they were almost done (2 day job)Tony did not like the look of some flashing against my brick, it was water tight but according to Tony it was not aesthetically up to his standards. Most roofers would said screw it good enough and leave but he came back the next day and completely re-did it to make it not only look 100% but function 100%. If you need a roof, siding, gutters or windows I highly recommend going with DiCostanzo his price was more Than fair for the quality of the work and attention to detail he brings to the job. They covered up the outside of the house with tarps and even covered my barbecue with a piece of plywood to protect it. The workers were very courteous and respectful. I threw them a few curve balls while they were there. After they were more than half way through the job I asked if they could do the gutters also along with putting a piece of flashing that was left off for years due to the power lines being in the way. I got aprice and agreed to have it done, and they got everything done by that afternoon.The pricing was very good,the roof came out beautifully. The yard was left cleaner than when they got there. A PROBLEMATIC LEAKING FLAT ROOF 7/18/2023 Has finally been…read morecorrected thanks to CONLON EXTERIORS! The flat roof over our garage has been leaking for many years. We have had it repaired three times in the past by different roofers without any luck at all. Recently I got more estimates from roofers who specialize on flat roofs repairs, and I also called on Colon Exteriors,516-781-5194, they were the ones who put up our sloped roof many years ago, which is still in great shape today! Jim Conlon told me he has repaired many flat roofs with success and after looking at my flat roof said he would repair and STOP my leaks once and for all. The price I received from Jim Conlon was also more affordable to me than the other roofers quotes I had gotten. Last week Conlon Exteriors, took two days to do the job. They had to replace some rotted wood caused by the water leaks, had to remove then replace some aluminum siding without bending it (which is very difficult to do) pull off the old tar paper on the roof and replaced it with a more costly EPDM roofing system. All the work was done by experienced long time Conlon crew members who know their business. This weekend as you all know we had plenty of rain to test out this new roofing system. I am happy to say that no leaks were found in the garage at all! Thank you Jim Conlon and crew.
