Additionally, portions of my roof are flat and there were a couple of unexpected issues due to shortcuts taken by previous roofers. Larry, the owner of AllWays, does not take shortcuts and ensures that the work is done properly. He had his crew strip all of the old, shoddy materials from these sections of roof and rebuild them to provide better drainage. In addition to the roof, Larry saved my old shed by replacing all of the rotted wood, added a new roof and doors, and installed siding, making the shed look brand new. Larry is very accommodating and a true professional. I highly recommend AllWays Construction for all roofing and construction needs.

I already knew the old roof needed to be replaced but had dreaded going through the process. With a giant rain and wind storm coming the next day, Nancy called and actually arranged to have Gus Anax do the repair ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON so that I would not have to deal with the damage that was sure to ensue! I was amazed to have come across a company that actually cares, especially to this extent, about a potential customer! I have never before had the pleasure of such kind professionals working with me in so attentive a manner before. The repair was done, and I was able to sleep soundly through the storm rather than watching my ceiling collapse! Going forward, I received a quote to have my old roof replaced that was absolutely within the price range I was expecting. Of course, I was delighted to receive a quote that I could afford but equally important, I felt a full sense of confidence in going ahead with the folks at Anax. They were very professional and informative, not to mention patient, throughout the process of selecting the roof material and giving me an understanding of the roofing process. They could not have been more helpful to this rather nervous customer. I need not have had any anxiety about having this job done, thanks to Gus Anax Home Improvements' professionalism and expertise! Gus and his team of skilled workmen set to work methodically and with great care. They were a pleasure to have at my house. I honestly do not have one single thing to say in the way of even the smallest complaint. Rather, I can only praise this fine company. What a great experience this has been, start to finish. With my wonderful new roof, my house looks far better than I could even have imagined. The roof is so pretty and greatly enhances the entire appearance of my property. (I have greenish-grey siding with dark green trim/red front door - - I went with Colonial Slate for the roof, and honestly, it looks like a storybook house -- exactly the effect I was going for!) My neighbors have all commented on how great the house looks and how charming the new roof makes it. In closing, I am delighted, in every way, to have had this job done by Gus Anax Home Improvements and plan to continue to enjoy having all my home needs taken care of by them. As such a satisfied customer, I was thrilled to learn of their full line of services. I cannot recommend Gus Anax Home Improvements highly enough. THANK YOU Gus, Nancy, & Co.!!!

Joe and his team treated my home and property with respect and even checked the interior to be sure the calking around my skylight wasn't damaged (it did crack a bit which they promptly recalked without me asking). They also had to replace some of the very old cedar shingles on the side of the house - no questions asked. And the estimate was spot on. Another thing I liked - I had a portion of my roof done 3 years prior and when I asked Joe for his opinion of that company's job, he praised it. The other company I considered hiring kinda trashed it. I found Joe's honesty refreshing and hired him on the spot.

A PROBLEMATIC LEAKING FLAT ROOF 7/18/2023 Has finally been…read morecorrected thanks to CONLON EXTERIORS! The flat roof over our garage has been leaking for many years. We have had it repaired three times in the past by different roofers without any luck at all. Recently I got more estimates from roofers who specialize on flat roofs repairs, and I also called on Colon Exteriors,516-781-5194, they were the ones who put up our sloped roof many years ago, which is still in great shape today! Jim Conlon told me he has repaired many flat roofs with success and after looking at my flat roof said he would repair and STOP my leaks once and for all. The price I received from Jim Conlon was also more affordable to me than the other roofers quotes I had gotten. Last week Conlon Exteriors, took two days to do the job. They had to replace some rotted wood caused by the water leaks, had to remove then replace some aluminum siding without bending it (which is very difficult to do) pull off the old tar paper on the roof and replaced it with a more costly EPDM roofing system. All the work was done by experienced long time Conlon crew members who know their business. This weekend as you all know we had plenty of rain to test out this new roofing system. I am happy to say that no leaks were found in the garage at all! Thank you Jim Conlon and crew.
