We had a complete removal of old roof and replaced with a new charcoal colored roof. The clean up was excellent. They even had some gizmo that vacuumed up any nails/ materials that were in the driveway. Tom is present on the job for any questions. Not like some contractors which are there to sign a contract then never show up until the job is complete. You don't have to worry-- Toms your guy!! He answers your calls promptly. Easy going. Does not give you the run around like some contractors do. No excuses. No exceptions. Fair, competitive pricing. HONEST, RELIABLE. I couldn't say enough, except you won't be disappointed.

There was some rot under the old roof which he repaired and the roof looks great! All accomplished on time! As a concerned tenant, I had researched his rep among friends and found that they were all very happy with his company as well. Some spoke of his good pricing and others very happy with their roofs. They also spoke of his honesty. It's good to know so many people who have used his services are also speaking positively of his service!

I first called the wonderful people at Gus Anax Home Improvements for a roof repair because I had a…read moreleak in my very old existing roof. I already knew the old roof needed to be replaced but had dreaded going through the process. With a giant rain and wind storm coming the next day, Nancy called and actually arranged to have Gus Anax do the repair ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON so that I would not have to deal with the damage that was sure to ensue! I was amazed to have come across a company that actually cares, especially to this extent, about a potential customer! I have never before had the pleasure of such kind professionals working with me in so attentive a manner before. The repair was done, and I was able to sleep soundly through the storm rather than watching my ceiling collapse! Going forward, I received a quote to have my old roof replaced that was absolutely within the price range I was expecting. Of course, I was delighted to receive a quote that I could afford but equally important, I felt a full sense of confidence in going ahead with the folks at Anax. They were very professional and informative, not to mention patient, throughout the process of selecting the roof material and giving me an understanding of the roofing process. They could not have been more helpful to this rather nervous customer. I need not have had any anxiety about having this job done, thanks to Gus Anax Home Improvements' professionalism and expertise! Gus and his team of skilled workmen set to work methodically and with great care. They were a pleasure to have at my house. I honestly do not have one single thing to say in the way of even the smallest complaint. Rather, I can only praise this fine company. What a great experience this has been, start to finish. With my wonderful new roof, my house looks far better than I could even have imagined. The roof is so pretty and greatly enhances the entire appearance of my property. (I have greenish-grey siding with dark green trim/red front door - - I went with Colonial Slate for the roof, and honestly, it looks like a storybook house -- exactly the effect I was going for!) My neighbors have all commented on how great the house looks and how charming the new roof makes it. In closing, I am delighted, in every way, to have had this job done by Gus Anax Home Improvements and plan to continue to enjoy having all my home needs taken care of by them. As such a satisfied customer, I was thrilled to learn of their full line of services. I cannot recommend Gus Anax Home Improvements highly enough. THANK YOU Gus, Nancy, & Co.!!!

Joe and his team went above and beyond my expectations. My home is old - really old (1700's) and…read morethe roof had to be at least 30-35 years old. Joe and his team treated my home and property with respect and even checked the interior to be sure the calking around my skylight wasn't damaged (it did crack a bit which they promptly recalked without me asking). They also had to replace some of the very old cedar shingles on the side of the house - no questions asked. And the estimate was spot on. Another thing I liked - I had a portion of my roof done 3 years prior and when I asked Joe for his opinion of that company's job, he praised it. The other company I considered hiring kinda trashed it. I found Joe's honesty refreshing and hired him on the spot.

He did my roof in Kings Park and we are damn glad he did, it came out amazing and was done the right way. Tony was the only roofer who explained how he needed to remove some siding and install ice shield up the outside walls and it would take some more time to get it done. Not one other roofer even mentioned they would do this, When I asked Tony he said that's because it's the right way and we take our time to do it right. On the last day when they were almost done (2 day job)Tony did not like the look of some flashing against my brick, it was water tight but according to Tony it was not aesthetically up to his standards. Most roofers would said screw it good enough and leave but he came back the next day and completely re-did it to make it not only look 100% but function 100%. If you need a roof, siding, gutters or windows I highly recommend going with DiCostanzo his price was more Than fair for the quality of the work and attention to detail he brings to the job. We would not hesitate to use him again and we will In a few years for siding and gutters.
